"Yes! as soon as you possibly can." Striker said now very excited, "lead the way my friend!" Striker motioned with his hoof.

"may i ask? what is the princess like?" Striker said hoping to learn more about her.

 

"I'm afraid I'm not allowed to tell outsiders too much about her highness." Nightfall took Striker inside. When they reached the checkpoint, Nightfall escorted Striker to the throne room doors, where several guard ponies blocking the way.

"What's the hold up?"

"Her highness is on the phone, sir. We can't let you in currently."

Vinyl acted appaulled by the princess's response, but really saw it coming from a mile away. "Oh, princess. Please, keep this civil," she said, failing to suppress her laughter, "So, you would let our ponies die...just because you don't feel like giving up some land? Because you and I both know that we could take both Twilight and yourself just like *snap* that. Even if we only take you out, which wouldn't be hard considering Crysalis, a...decent friend of mine, almost did once, what would Twilight do? Use the elements? With the six split, how could she?"

1900 Hours, just outside Ponyville

 

That day when I awoke, I had no way of knowing of what was to come...The convoy was moving along at a normal pace for the past seventeen hours with very little delay. Valiant was asleep with his cap over his face and his helmet beside him. He woke without moving and kept his eyes shut and then he realized he was with friendlies. So he got up normally and had some of Ration Pack as breakfast and awoke some of the other soldiers. He looked out side from outskirts of of Ponyville. The most of the western part of ponyville was in ruins with a lot of fighting being carried out by militia of both sides. There explosions in the sky and pegasi were dropping like flys up there. On the ground there was the rattle of gunfire and occasional magic blast. "Alright everyone, LOCK AND LOAD, were going in to the deployment zone hot in exactly one hour so be ready!" I checked my girl three times and I was ready. I put magazine in my AR-15 and chambered the first round. All the other soldiers did the same and then from that point on every one remained silent...

As Red checked the scope for the third time in as many minutes, he mentally berated himself for leaving the gum in the truck. Command says that the first NLR truck will be headed in at 1910. There's almost no wind, and the shot will be roughly 1200 meters. I'll be aiming at a pony in a truck, and I'll have a roughly 30-second window. If I mess this up... "Never mind!" Red said grumpily. "Now... vhere is ze truck...?"

As Tune's truck is going along a relatively straight stretch of road, Tune sees a tiny twinkle in the distance. As the truck is turning a corner, it stops, and a spray of blood hits the back window. Up on his grassy knoll, Red chuckles. "Zhere you vere, feeling very full of yourself. Zhen, very briefly suprised. Zhen, dead. I zhink ve're BOTH done here." He sets off to his tent.

First Contact

 

As I said before nobody would be prepared for what was to come....

 

We arrived at the ruins at the ET, the backs of all the AP Transports opened. "Alright, Go! Go! Go!" The NLR troops secured the deployment zone with no resistance and they set up the H.Q. Alright lets look at the war plan...

 

 

 

Filled in circles are Troops and hollow circles are militia...

"X"s represent fortifications...

Black Square with Red filled in shows that Solar empire Controls the capital...

 

 

 

Alright I want all the army to take the direct route towards the Capital and to take out any hostile militia along the way but watch for civilians and friendly militia. Any civilians/friendly militia you find are to be sent back to H.Q. I began to call out names on who would go on the mission. "....and Corporal Fine Tune as well." "Alright you all know what to do...now all the marines on me were taking the flank to support the army on the main attack."

"AARGH! FICK! FICK!" I trudge off, take down the tent, and start heading back to base. I have failed the unit, and may be taken off the team. Court-marshalled, if I'm unlucky.

"Lets go!" "Execute!" "Move! Move! Move!" As soon as the orders rang out the catapaults and cannons started bombing the enemy fortifications. The Infantry moved down the the middle and engaged a large militia force behind a huge fortification ((Corporal Tune can take the rp from there for the army)). While the marksman squads went to flank and engage any hostiles. "I want you to clear that area on the far side over there got it?" "Yes sir!"...

A guard in the room then stepped outside to take a look, then came back inside. "Ma'am, Colonel Nightfall is waiting outside for you. Shall we let him in?"

Celestia looked very, very tired for a second, then she resumed her normal appearances. "Yes," she said. "Immediately." She waited for the Colonel to reappear, then asked. "What is it that you need?"

Striker heard the guard and looked at Nightfall with a look that said, "Shall we go in?", Striker then walked slowly to the guard's turned around and waited for Nightfall to let him come through with him.

Wits was in his apartment. He was not alone. Currently, he was resting from the lengthy workday with a well-deserved nap. As he slept, he dreamed of the upcoming battles, and visions flashed through his head. The impossible, the all-too-possible, all were whirling around inside him, and with frightening accuracy, too.
