Spriting resources - Any help?

I've been making sprites for some years now, pretty basic stuff, fusions, devamps, revamps, recolours, things with pokemon sprites, I've always used the windows xp version of microsoft paint, it's simple and fun to use, I can't use photoshop (too expensive) and gimp isn't for me, I also don't use the version of paint that came with windows 7, I don't understand it, so, yeah, I'd like to ask you something

 

Are there any sprites of ponies, or whatever you call them for editing? I don't know if there was a game, I doubt it, and even if it was, I doubt it was an rpg like pokemon with battle sprites, but I'd like to make fan sprites, problem is, I need the resources, I don't want fan made sprites (that would be stealing and I'm ever against stealing or plagiarism) just to know iif there are some?

 

If there aren't I can try to make them, but I'm bad at doing things from scratch, so, any help guys (or girls) ?
