private SoL: Canterlot

[Nightfall 3,950]

"Yes?"

 

Nightfall blinked. He didn't know how to ask Vinyl where his room was without sounding rude.

"May I ask where your room is? I just want to know so I can see the room next to it." He hastily added the second sentence. "If you wouldn't mind." He said almost under his breath.

"Follow me, I'll show you to your room," she said as she got up, "Thank you again, Alfred," and she led Nightfall to his room.

Nightfall walked into his room and looked around. He saw a door to a balcony and a big bedroom. He also, out of the corner of his eye, saw a door that looked like it connected two bedrooms, but he put that in the back of his head.

"Thanks... and goodnight, I guess." He looked into Blade's eyes for a moment, blushed, and looked down.

"Goodnight." She walked into her bedroom, put on a nightgown, brushed her teeth, and got into bed.

"Goodnight." She walked into her bedroom, put on a nightgown, brushed her teeth, and got into bed.

 

Nightfall walked into his bedroom, took off his saddle bag, and lay down on the bed. He hoped he hadn't screwed anything up or given her a bad impression of himself. He then drifted off to sleep, hoping she would still be there in the morning and this wasn't some dream that taunts you with things you've never had but desperately want.

Blossom Bloom continued to fly after the colt. He didn't answer so she decided to call out to him a second time. Just as she was about to, she heard another voice shouting to keep the noise down. "Sooorrryy!" she shouted back as she flew by.

Tune Twist yawned and rose up from his bed. It was 8 o' clock. He felt around on his neck for his headphones and realized that they weren't there. "Oh no. Not my MP3 player!" He said to himself. He quickly got dressed and walked out the door to retrace his steps.

Star woke up and was getting ready for the day, washing her mane and tail. Suddenly, she saw a flash from behind her, and when she looked back, there was a pony with a camera. "Smile!" the pony said.

 

"H-How did you get in my house!?" Suddenly, more paparazzi appeared from hiding places in her home, taking photos and trying to interview her.

 

"How long have you been hiding in my house!?" Overcrowded by paparazzi ponies, Star broke out running. She galloped out of her house and looked for exits to escape the interviewers. She turned a corner, but there were even more of them in that direction. Blindly galloping to escape, she crashed straight into Tune Twist.

It was so dark outside, Blossom Bloom lost the colt she was after. Before she knew it, it was morning and she had arrived in Canterlot! "Whoa! Did I really fly for this long?" she slowed down quickly and hovered over the city. "No point in going back home now...I was planning to come back anyway! Besides, mama won't worry. She'll probably think that I just went out early today." Blossom shrugged and landed on the ground softly near a corner of small shops. Folding her wings and taking a deep breath, she began to walk down the street just as she did yesterday. The sun was shining brightly and the birds were singing sweetly. Surprisingly, she wasn't tired. Then she heard a loud noise...Coming from her! It was her stomach and it wanted food...NOW! "Better find a breakfast spot. I wonder what kind of food they serve here in Canterlot" she thought aloud as she began to head towards the center of the city.

Blossom hummed a tune to herself as she continued to walk. She thought of flying but her wings started to ache, so she quickly put the idea in the back of her head. As she continued to walk, she saw that she was about to pass by a park. "Wow! I didn't know they had a park here in Canterlot! Yes! This is exactly what I was looking for!" she trotted into the park happily as she thought of the many flower trees she would see. If the city was beautiful, then surely the park would be the same! "Sorry, tummy! Breakfast will have to wait!" Blossom Bloom loved flowers more than anything and she loved to look at all of them.

"Cmon, the trees and flowers in the park are pretty dense, they won't be able to find you." Said Tune, beginning to gallop to the park.

Finally, she arrived where the flower and trees started. They were beautiful! There were even flowers she had never seen before! "Oh I NEED to get an upclose look at them!" she gasped excitedly. Her wings didn't ache as much as they did before and she began to fly up to the treetops. She flew over to a large tree with big purple flowers blooming on it. Each petal had a design on them and it made the flower look absolutely stunning. "Wow...Do the flowers do that on their own?! That's amazing!" she shouted happily as she did a somersault in the air. "I wonder if I can take some..." she began to fly over to other trees. As she flew, petals from the flowers would float down slowly to the ground, covering the path with different colors. It looked so nice!

Sky finally made it to Canterlot he began flying above the park admiring the flowers and the other natural beauties untill he crashed face first into a tree. "Son of a donkey" Sky cursed loudly as he hit the ground.

Blossom Bloom was staring at a small pink flower when she heard a loud crash followed by a thud and a painful shout. She flinched at the sound and look around rapidly. "Huh?" she spotted a colt on the ground in a crumpled heap. "Oh my gosh!" Blossom flew down quickly and landed next to the colt. "A-are you ok?!" she held out her hoof to try and help him up.

Jaide woke up with a sudden burst. "Oh no! I overslept!" Jaide shouted. She flew out of her room, took a bagel from the kitchen, burst out the door, headed downstairs, and headed out the hotel lobby. "I don't know how I overslept but I just did," Jaide said while still holding the bagel in her mouth. She went down the street(s) that led to the park. "Whew I'm here," she said with a relief.

Tune Twist galloped into the park, forgetting that Star was in the ocean of photographers, and noticed two ponies. One of them was on the ground, clearly hurt and up against a tree, and the other was helping him. "Woah, are you ok?" He asked the crumpled stallion.

Vinyl woke up at about 8:30, fixed her hair and went downstairs. She put on a simple dress and told Alfred that she was going to go out for breakfast today. "Oh, and don't forget to get Nightfall up later," she added.

Blossom Bloom helped the colt to his feet (er...hooves?) She noticed another pony rushing over to them. "I think he's ok...I'm not sure." she held onto the colt to keep him from falling. Blossom flapped her wings a little,trying to give him some air to breathe.

Jaide flew up to get a better view of the park. She noticed three ponies near some flowers. She noticed that one of them was Tune Twist so she went down to greet him. "Tune Twist, what happened here?" Jaide asked.

"Yea im fine just a few cuts" Sky said as blood began tricking down his face. "And theres nothing wrong with my breathing so you can stop flapping your wings thanks" Sky smiled with gratitude.

Jaide looked at Sky with worried eyes. "You okay? I have this first-aid kit in my tiny backpack here. Do you need a bandage?" she asked as she took out the frst-aid kit ready to heal sky.

Blossom Bloom stopped flapping her wings and gasped "You're bleeding! W-we need to get you to a hospital!" she began to freak out and trot in place. Looking around frantically, she spotted a well not too far away. She flew over and grabbed the small bucket that was placed next to it. Blossom quickly dipped the bucket into the well and filled it with water. Once it was filled, she raced back over to the colt. "Here's some water!"
