private SoL: Canterlot

"Hey Vinyl, I'm going to have to go and buy these glasses and get home. It's getting a little late anyways," Jaide said a little anxious.

 

(Yeah I'm going to have to leave at this point. Need to go on a trip that will last for 2 days. See you guys!)

"I see..." Nightfall looked around and saw the gold glasses.

"Those look nice."

"All right." Nightfall started walking after Vinyl.

Vinyl and Nightfall walked in almost absolute silence; the only thing that could be heard were their hoofsteps and light breathing. Vinyl grew a bit bored with the situation, so she pulled out one of her golden balisongs and started doing tricks with it.

Sky decided to walk around town aimlessly seeing as he had no plans and didn't really know anypony in Canterlot. Sky then saw two ponies sitting on a bench he decided to walk over to them to say hi but when Sky got near they both got up and called Sky a disgusting commoner for not wearing a suit around Canterlot. When they had walked off Sky noticed they had left there wallets on the bench. He called out to them but they just ignored him. He opened the wallets and found 500 bits and two tickets to the gala. "Finders, keepers" Sky mumbled to himself as he walked to the closest tailor to get a suit fitted.

Vinyl called Alfred downstairs along with the tailor. "As you know, Nightfall is coming to the gala as my escort. He needs a tuxedo to wear."

"Yes, madam," said the tailor as he began to get the measurements for the suit.

Sky bought a tuxedo from the tailor and began to walk around town. He began to be more accepted by the townsponys but he didn't feel like any of them would make good friends. After a while of walking he found himself in Canterlot park. He found a bench and sat down he looked at his two gala tickets and wondered what to do with him he didnt have any friends in this town so it seemed kind of pointless for him to go.

Nightfall stood still as Alfred measured his dimensions. He felt kinda awkward since Vinyl was standing by.

Nightfall walked upstairs and knocked on Vinyl's door. He had had his tux fitted perfectly and wanted to see Vinyl right before he went to bed. He felt a bit nervous and almost left after knocking, but he didn't want to seem rude, so he just stood there and blushed.

A shiver ran down Tune Twists spine as he trotted back to his house. It was getting cold, so he sped up into a steady gallop, when he felt sprinkle of water hit his hair. "Oh, no." He said fearfully. He broke into a full on sprint, but reached his house only when his black and white mane and tail were soaking wet.

Sky stopped the rain where he was sitting. "I should probably of bought that house before buying the tux" Sky Chuckled to himself quietly. Sky watched the twilight.moon rays crack through the clouds. "Maybe I shouldnt of moved here" He thought to himself.

After drying off with a towel, Tune Twist laid down in his bed and continued to think about the day. Where would he get tickets to The Gala? Where would he get a suit? His horn glowed and his wallet levitated out of his desk. He opened it to find ten... fifty two... three hundred bits. A ticket to The Gala costed a lot more than that, not to mention a suit.

On the same day, Wildcard spoke with a doctor. He told him that he flew against a window and that they had to stich his right foreleg. The doctor also feared that he has a light concussion and told him that he has to stay in hospital for the next week.

"I don't want to waste all this time" the pegasus thought "I came here to have fun, meet friends and look after my appartement"

Escaping was easier than he thought and nobody asked him questions when he left the building.

"Freedom!", the colt said to himself. He tried to fly home but felt dizzy and therefore went the rest of the way by hoof.

When he arrived he went into his bathroom immediately. It took him about an hour in the shower to get the blood out of his coat. He fixed his mane and looked into a mirror. His appearance was almost back to normal altough he still had a lot of scratches and he lost some of his feathers. He put on a jacket to hide the scratches and a hat to keep himself dry and left the appartement again.
