"Sounds perfect!" Nimbus responded as he walked past Blossom. "I also have a few questions for you guys while we walk over to there... or..." He started to flap his wings. "or would you guys rather fly? Because, to be honest, this forest is kind of starting to creep me out."

 

Blossom Bloom looked at him with a confused look "Creep you out? Why? Oh come on. There's nothing to be scared of he-OH MY GOD IT'S A COCKATRICE! IT'S COMING AFTER YOU! DON'T LOOK AT IT!!!!!!!" she screamed as she shot up into the air and grabbed the nearest limb on a tree to hold on to.

Splinter flew behind Blossom. ''Okay.. Just stand still. And maybe we won't die?'' Splinter said while shivering. ''This reminds me of Salad Fingers. For some reason.'' Splinter said.

He flew up and grabbed Splinter and Blossom by their front hooves, pulling them above the cover of the forest trees. He spat out some leaves from his mouth and asked: "Now, does any of you two know where Ponyville is from here?"

"A cockatrice!?" Nimbus yelped. "That settles it, we're flying back to the village!" He flew up and grabbed Splinter and Blossom by their front hooves, pulling them above the cover of the forest trees. He spat out some leaves from his mouth and asked: "Now, does any of you two know where Ponyville is from here?"

 

Blossom Bloom grew wide eyed and gasped when Nimbus suddenly grabbed them both and flew up above the tree tops of the everfree forest. Her mind began to race and she couldn't think straight. She gave him a confused look before finally realizing what his question was and began to shout "U-Umm..Oh! It's that way! It's that way!" pointing with one of her wings to the north, she flapped the other one frantically and began to kick her feet in a panic.

He situated himself opposite of them and stared at Blossom Bloom with a slightly concerned expression on his face.

"Whoa! Hey, easy! You're going to make us fall if you keep flailing like that!" He tightened his grip on their hooves. "Calm down," he said as he carefully rested them on a drifting cloud. He situated himself opposite of them and stared at Blossom Bloom with a slightly concerned exp<b></b>ression on his face.

 

Blossom Bloom looked at Nimbus and rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly "E-eheh...sorry bout that...kind of just..freaked out there..." she laughed quietly and nervously and looked down. Taking a deep breath, she slowly recollected herself. After a few seconds, she sighed and looked back up at Nimbus "S-so..how bout that pizza?" finally regaining her smile, she started to flap her wings until she was hovering just above the cloud. Blossom Bloom hoped that the ponies weren't thinking bad about her and she hoped that she just didn't screw up in making new friends. "Oh..and uh..thanks Nimbus..again." she said quietly.

Nimbus' concern dissipated as Blossom regained her smile. 'What a peculiar mare, for a second there she reminded me of... nah I'm probably just over thinking it,' Nimbus thought. He flared his wing and gestured at Splinter. "Yeah, let's go get that pizza, I'm really hungry now. And don't worry about it, that's what friends are for, right?" He said, smiling and pulling Splinter beside him.

He said, smiling and pulling Splinter beside him.

 

"Yea!Running away sure gave me an appetite" she laughed as she watched Nimbus pull Splinter to his side. "Come on. I'll show you where the pizza place is. It's not that far from here actually..Hey look! I can see the rooftop!" Blossom Bloom pointed at a small gray flat area down below where Ponyville was. She clapped her hooves and flew around the cloud in fast circles above Nimbus' and Splinter's heads "Come on! Come on! Come on!"

Nimbus flew up to Blossom and patted her on the head. "Easy there, Skippy. Please don't get too exited. You said you wanted to ask me a few questions, well now, while we're flying, is as good a time as any to ask away." Nimbus took the lead and headed towards the building Blossom pointed at.

Blossom Bloom suddenly stopped flying (not completely or else she would fall out of the sky) when Nimbus patted her head. "Sk-Skippy...?!" She went quiet and blushed slightly. No one had ever patted her head and it made her feel like a child. Attempting to hide her face from embarrassment, she didn't notice that Nimbus had already started flying away. Once she realized it, she immediately shook off the feeling and flew to catch up to him and hear the last part of whatever he was saying. "Oh um..yea! Good idea! SOOO...Neighpon, huh? Sounds exciting. What's it like? I've read about it in books but it's better to hear it from someone who's actually there, right?" Blossom asked and smiled again.

''Wait. Were getting pizza?! WOOHOO!'' Splinter said. He couldn't help it. He just loved pizza! ''Where are we going? Round Table? Domino's? I just can't wait!'' Splinter said while grinning.

"We're going to Papa Marris. Best pizza place in Ponyville. Hey, that could be a tongue twister! ...Er...sort of." she said as she looked back at Splinter who was behind them and still on the cloud that they were resting upon not but a minute ago "Now hurry up! You're falling behind!" she giggled.
