Ponies as Disney Princesses

(not necessarily Princesses, could be girls like Alice or Nala)

 

here are my thoughts:

• The quiet bookworm who loves learning and is really smart = Belle / Twilight
• The soft-spoken helper who is great with animals = Snow White / Fluttershy
• The bubbly one who is full of fun and energy = Giselle / Pinkie Pie
• The dedicated hardworker who is realistic but also a dreamer = Tiana / Applejack
• The tough warrior who excels in athletics and focused in whatever she believes = Mulan / Rainbow
• The intelligent beauty who is strong and independent = Jasmine / Rarity
• The fan-girl who idol worships and wants to be someone/something else = Ariel / Scootaloo
• The gal born with a "curse" and who was eventually "silenced"/"hidden" by those in power = Aurora / Derpy
• The poor confused gal who wasn't appreciated by others after all her hard work = Cinderella / Princess Luna
• The wise teacher who whose greatest strength is guiding students through life and allowing them to learn the most valuable lessons for themselves = Blue Fairy (from Pinocchio) / Princess Celestia

I agree with all of them. Queen Chrysalis could be like umm the one evil Queen off of Snow Wight because she can change forms as can Chrysalis.

Cadance could be Ariel, as she's a supernatural being who has to deal with another supernatural being masquerading as herself and trying to marry the love of her love. Said masquerading supernatural being also enjoys mirrors. Cadance/Ariel also have beautiful singing voices. Therefore, Chrysalis is Ursula. Does this look familiar?

 

 

I could also see Twilight or Pinkie possibly being in the role of Rapunzel. Pinkie being a free-spirited Genki Girl who has a reptile as a pet and Twilight being a smart, talented, magic girl who has a teacher she's shown to be intimidated by-and has a reptile-like creature as a friend. Twilight's also socially awkward, mostly due to being very studious and sticking to one place, and of course Rapunzel is too due to being locked away her whole life.In this situation, Celestia's Gothel, which makes so much sense in context as Gothel needs light to survive, while Celestia probably needs the sun.
