writing Untitled Poem

[Pan the Fabulous Ferret 2,642]

So I was cleaning my room today, when I had a "creative moment", and these three lines just popped into my head. When I look at them, they apear to have little meaning... but when I say them aloud, they feel almost powerful and deep.

 

In this life or another,

yours and mine,

our time together.

I like it... but it gives me a strange feeling. Maybe thats just me!

 

Anyway, what do you think?

Often, when I visualize simple pictures or think a few lines like this, I later end up writing something so much deeper than the original thought, almost as if I am expressing the concept instead of just thinking it. Perhaps that is what this is, or perhaps a cigar is just a cigar... Nonetheless, it is very interesting, thought provoking, and highly interpretable.

I am one of those kind of people who gets upset in english class when they tell us the meaning of a poem, being that it is my firm belief that TRUE poetry can never be classified into a single meaning. I also put forth much effort usually when writing because I want all my poetry to have a deep complex understanding and meaning.

ummmmmm I dont think I was high lol. I was like I said, cleaning up my messy room, and organizing a RP when POP... its in my head
