Actually I tend to find celestia as an adversary to Silvadel due to proactive overprotectiveness of equestria. Superman is one of my least favorites in the superhero genre. While i can respect your opinion and i can see what you mean i disagree. It can be said of that of Superman 30-40 years ago but the character has changed a lot recent years, hes more of a "God that became man" type character. Hes had some great development with his character often asking if he does enough to be considered a GOD among his people. His fight with Doomsday was epic and his death was heartbreaking. But also if you want some more information check out All-Star Superman (considered the 3rd best comic of all time only behind Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen) and Superman vs the Elite DVD/Blu ray to geta better look at the moden interpretation of the character. However, the question is rather will it be enough? I think that Superman would win a straith up fight, he is just too fast and too strong. And let us not forget those pesky laser eyes of his. The powerful weapons fight I truly do not know how to answer since I do not know the power of the Sword of Superman. However, if the Elements of Harmony can imprison Discord, who can change reality at will and is generally a powerful, magical badass, I think they should be able to petrify Superman as well. It comes down to the power and abilities of the Sword of Superman and if Celestia can catch him. As for personality I prefer Celestia. Both are kind and caring, but I rather hang out with Celestia who is known for bieng a bit of a prankster. Superman seems to be a bit too stuck up for my tastes, but not by much. Scans plz The Sword of Superman is an old Silver Age weapon that was used to make the wearer one with the Presence. It basically was formed from Primal Matter from the beginning of teh universe and it completely indestructible. On its own it can defeat major cosmic beings.
