Celestia smiles at her sister. She was blessed to be given such a kind and understanding sister. Celestia clears off the rest of her tears, sits up, and begins to tell Luna the story of how everything occurred. As she finishes she looks away from her sister in shame. She did not know what Luna would think of her after she did something so stupid as to deal with Discord.

 

Boss sighs. He had hoped she wouldn't say something like that. He wanted to save this battle for later. Deal with Discord and then have one final, glorious battle to end the games forever. Unfortunately she obviously didn't have the same idea. He sighs again. Very well... I really wish you didn't say that... But if it's what you want. With that he runs at her full speed, swinging his hoof full power at her face.

DH heard what Boss said and dropped the shield. If Discord is behind all of this i bet DD is trying to get his power as well. After hearing the speech Quillusion and Boss were giving. But then he could hear the tone in their voices change. Then he sees Boss run at Quill....So this is how they want to end it....

 

The general managed to get all the girls to Twi. Twi was badly hurt but stable. Ill stand watch by your side my lady. Thank you general. Girls Discord is back. I dont know how but all i know is that he had control over Celestia. He was the one who started the games up again.

It was one of the tributes. Death Dealer. He joined forces with Discord for power. And Discord wants him to kill me. And with his blood lust i know he wont stop till we or me are dead. i just hope he....

Dashes right past the general. Everything was still. You should have just stayed out of my way....Your death would have been painless. FS was peaking through the door when the general was killed. She just shut the door and backed away with tears running down her face. Hes......hes......such a monster......he killed the general

Shade watched Boss charge at Quills. "So, this is it. There is no changing it now." Shade said to Lightlash and Darkflash. She felt her heart start to break. He cares more about tradition than somepony else's life. She just couldn't believe it.

 

Although dead, Cadence's spirit still lived in her head, which Death Dealer had just taken out. "Death Dealer, you may have my head, and I may be dead, but I won't just let you use my power!" Cadence's spirit said. She sent an electrifying shock through the head.

Quillusion's body took the full force of her hit, her head started to bleed as her body sunk to the ground. Her head was crushed, and that one blow had been a death blow. Or it would have been a death blow if Quillusion wasn't as smart as she was. Though all of her studying, she had come upon one spell. A dummy spell. It would allow you to escape, leaving an exact copy of you behind. The spell was very hard to do however, and had left her insanely tired as she ran though the forest. She looked behind her to see the dummy copy fall, blood now in a pool around it. Perfect, everything is still going according to plan. She told herself, a smile on her face as she stopped and turned to watch what Boss would do now. It was better he thought her dead, it meant she could still win these games, if that was still what they were.

DH saw what Boss did to Quill. Well thats the end of her. Now me and Boss can have our fight. But before leaving he looks at the the heart monitors and sees...... This cant be right. This says Quill is still alive. Well shes smarter than i thought. *on the com-link* Boss if you ready to fight i am ready as well.

 

Feels a zap from the head. I will not be taking attitude from a head. *squeezing the brain stem* Now take me to Canterlot. NOW!!!

"Death Dealer, you aren't very smart. You do know that spirits such as I cannot feel pain OR die? I don't have to do anything for you! No matter what you say or do, I won't help you!" Cadence shocked him with the force of 30 lightning bolts. "Death Dealer, do you really think Discord would allot you to have some of his power?"

"No, how about we stay?" Cadence used every last ounce of her magic in her skull, and made a huge lightning bolt. "I have used the last of my magic... Even if you were to get me to try to teleport you, I wouldn't have any magic left! Now, since the magic was the thing keeping my spirit alive, I'll have to disappear. Bye, asshole." Cadence said, fading away.

As Discord looks over the monitors he is pleased to see what is happening. The chaos was... Beautiful. He looked at one monitor and saw the drama between Shade and Boss. He looked to another and can see the frustration in the eyes of Death Dealer. He laughs out loud to himself. Everything was going as he planned.

 

Boss looked at the ground at what he though he had done. He falls to his knees and cried. He had no idea why he did that. Something... came over him. It wasn't like a rage fit it was... something else. As if some ancient force was calling upon him to do that. To make that speech. To... To kill a pony. He simply lay on his knees and cry as he didn't want to be burdened with the thought of what he had done. He knew Shade would never forgive him... but he turns to her anyway. Shade please... I... I don't know what came over me... I'm sorry... Can you ever forgive me?

Shade was in shock. Boss had killed Quills. "Boss... Why? Why would you? How could you? These games were created by Discord, when you kill somepony in these games, you're no better than him. I thought you were different. I thought..." Shade's eyes began to become teary, then he ran away, crying. Boss was dead to her.

DD shakes the head trying to bring her back.....Oh no you dont you little b@#ch. Wake the buck up! But to no avail. She is already gone. Well there goes my ride to Canterlot. Now if i were a strong unicorn where would i be? Looking the Cadence head in the eyes. Where is you husband? I know Shining Armor can get me there. Looking out the window to see some guards and SA. And look who showed up. this is perfect.

Quillusion stood still. Was Boss, crying, and was Shade running away. Had her little trick caused all of this. This must be what Celestia wanted to happen. This was chaos, chaos so big that Discord would be proud. She continued to watch Boss wondering if she should go and tell him it was a trick or not.

 

(Remember Quillusion still doesn't know the games were Discords doing)

Luna turns Celestia's head toward her. "It is okay. Do not worry, we can work through this." She paused for a moment and propped herself up against the wall. She mumbled to herself, "But how?" She thought for a moment. Then it clicked. "Sister, we need to release the tributes and get them here. Discord may be powerful, but he is not invincible."

Celestia smiles at her sister's bravery but it quickly fades. You're brave Luna but Discord is the very god of Chaos. He was able to make me fall ill without me even knowing. What would the tribute be able to do? Then it clicks for her too. I see. Very well. Though we have to be stealthy. Discord doesn't realize we are still inside the palace. We should head to the control room. Tell me your entire plan along the way.

 

Boss watched as Shade ran away and more tears trickled down his eyes. He was stupid to think she would forgive her. He was a monster... And ponies as such as him don't deserve companion ship. In his state of self pity and grief, Boss picks himself up and walks to the edge of a cliff created by the shifting land. He was seriously contemplating jumping. He didn't deserve society... Or Shade. The world would be much better without ponies like himself... He took another step closer to the edge and looked over. It was a long way down. He takes on final breath and begins to walk towards the edge.

"Boss if you jump, no one will ever forgive you." Quillusion shouted as she ran out of the woods. That had made up her mind, no pony should die because of something stupid she had done. "Please Boss, don't jump, if you jump, I want be able to live with myself, and I doubt shade will either." She continued to yell, as she sat down, tears in her eyes. If he jumped it would be her fault, and there would be no way for her to live again.

Lightlash was staying behind, watching Shade run away. But then, when he turned, he saw Boss about to step off the cliff. "NOOO!" Lightlash said, leaping forward, catching him right before he started falling. "Boss, what the fuck?! Why did you try that?! Shade is just pissed off right now!" He sighed. "Look, you didn't even kill Quills! She just didn't know!"

DH was watching Boss on the screen. It seemed like he had given up on everything. Boss oh no you dont. You are not going to take your own life. Not like this. DH jumps in one of the pods to the battle dome. It lands on the cliff Boss was overlooking. As he hops out. Boss dont do this! You dont have to kill yourself. We need to talk.

Lightlash just stared at Diehard. "Well, seems like everyone is reunited... Except for my sister. If we are gonna defeat Discord, we need to find Shade.

 

Shade was sitting on a cliff, overlooking the ocean in the dome. The sun was beginning to set over the horizon. She was still sobbing quietly, wondering why Boss killed Quills.

Boss contemplated what they were all saying. Did they really care for him? I doesn't matter anyway. Quillusion says it was a trick but it could just as easily have been a pony. Although he was in the clear, it doesn't mean he still didn't lose control of his actions. Any of them could be next. He couldn't live with himself if he ever actually hurt one of them. Not to mention Shade never wanted to see him again anyway... In her eyes he was a monster... And she was right... But he's not weak either. You can be the strongest or fastest pony in the world but if you are weak minded than it doesn't matter. You are simply prey like a common mouse. Boss would not be weak minded. What Lightlash said was beginning to sink in too. He says she's only angry but he can tell it'e more. He broke her heart by losing control of his emotions and he doesn't deserve her... No. I can't be weak minded. I have to try. Without speaking the entire time Boss backs away from the cliff and runs as fast as he can in the direction of Shade. He needed her. She didn't seem to notice as he arrived behind her. He can see her crying and he sits down beside her. He pats her arm. Hello again Shade.

"Boss... It's you..." Shade said, not lifting her head. "Why did you come here?" Shade stood up, glaring. "Well? Did you not have enough fun killing Quills, and want to keep the tradition going with my life?" Shade tried to look as mad as possible, but she couldn't. She fell to the ground, crying at Boss's feet. "Why did you kill her?"

Boss sits down and puts his hoof under her chin. He raises it softly so he can at look at her in the eyes. He speaks softly. Shade... I never killed Quillusion nor am I here to kill you... In case you haven't realized by now I love you. I don't know whether or not you still feel the same way about me after what you saw but I had to tell you. I've never wanted any of this to happen or to ever have hurt any pony. Right now I just want to get out of here and defeat the greater problem. He lifts his food and wipes away her tears. Can you ever forgive me?

Shade feels like her heart was slowly starting to reconstruct itself. She felt her love for him returning. She stood up, smiling and teary eyed. "I love you too, Boss!" She hugged him as hard as he could.

"Ugh. Shade, since we both share the same body, please don't do that too much. It makes me feel gay." Darkflash said, breaking out of the hug.

"Oh, sorry Boss. Remember that huge shadow beast? Yeah, he shares my body now." Shade said, reverting back. "Well, lets get going!" Shade said, running back towards the others.

DD walks through the halls looking for SA. Now to get what i want. You two take a hall and find the monster that did this. Ill go this way. Thats right SA. Come this way. As SA makes his way down the hall he sees a head in the hall. Cadence? Is that you? Form the darkness. Oh yes its her. But not as you want her. Holding the head in his hooves. I may not have killed her but i wish i did. Now here is what i want from you. Take me to Canterlot so i can stop the man who killed your wife. What do you mean you wished you killed her? SA got in a fighting stance. Now now lets not be to hasty. I can take you to the man who killed her if you take me to Canterlot. Men come here. Oh its to late for them. You sent them to their death. So are we doing this or what? Im sure your wife would want you to catch her killer. Looking at the head of his wife. Fine ill help you....for Cadence. Taking him to the grand hall. The EOH are there.

Luna helps Celestia to her hooves and they run to the game making room. On the way, Luna explains her plan in great detail. They reach the room as she finishes explaining. They then enter the room to release the tributes and transport them to the room

As Celestia and Luna barge into the control room the see Die Hard sitting in the seat. Celestia straightens and approaches him. Die Hard my sister and I require full controls of the arena. The tributes are in terrible danger and they are the key to stopping Discord. Release them now.

 

Boss is feeling very awkward what with a colt sharing bodies with his girlfriend however he simply smiles. As they run back to the others he whispers in her ear. You know we're going to have to get rid of Darkflash right? He says it jokingly however he is completely serious about it. As they arrive he looks around and sees Quillusion again. He wonders where Die Hard had went. He would have been a great assistance... However he looks back to Quillusion. You ready to go? Get that dagger ready because we're moving out.
