visual art Toaster Puppy: Re-visited

For those who remember my interesting character called "Toaster Puppy" well, he's back with some buddies from the kitchen/petting zoo.

 

I call this segment; "Toaster Puppy & Friends!" which is basically Toaster Puppy and some of his buds that I randomly came up with.

I'll list off the characters by numbers (shown in the photograph below) to give a small summary of who they are and how I came up with them.

 

First off, you'll notice a picture above Toaster Puppy of some campers, ignore that, it has nothing to do with Toaster Puppy, it was just there before Toaster Puppy.

 

1) Toaster Puppy is a Toaster and a Puppy put into one, most people recognize the cute puppy-like face which relates easily to the other puppies I draw, and then there's the toaster on his back. Basically he's a freakin' dog with a flippin' toaster built into him.

 

2) Mailbox Duck is obviously a duck with a mailbox strapped on top of him, nobody knows how it got there nor does anyone know why he has a mailbox strapped to his back considering it's not even a small kitchen appliance.

 

3) Grill n' Steer is a male cow (steer) with a grill tied to his back. He is one of my favorite little fellas, plus you can't beef a good ol' fashioned BBQ dinner.

 

4) Kettle Squirrel is a squirrel with a kettle tied to him, this is why you don't throw your kitchen ware out in your yard.

 

5) UM, let's just call this guy handheld mixer thingy, considering I don't know what he is...

 

6) This is a unfinished representation of Microwave Turtle, a turtle with a microwave strapped to his shell.

 

7) Blender Kitty is Toaster Puppy's best bud, if you haven't noticed Blender Kitty along with Toaster Puppy are the only two animals that actually are built into their devices.

 

8) Coffee Pot Fish Skateboard (working progress, I haven't developed him fully yet).

 

 

That's the characters so far, if anyone has any ideas that may contribute to this feel free to share, suggestions are always welcome!

Ha, those characters are so creative and catchy. I really like your style of drawing, reminds me of a certain cartoon, I can't remember which though. They'd be even better though if you added some color.

I'll probably draw them up on the computer to color them more accurately, I'm quite bad at coloring with markers/colored pencils/crayons (which is why I always shade)
