Far in the future, the great Chamber prison was created to house the worst the world had to offer.

'The Chambers' was the first of its kind; a living prison, capable of changing itself to contain the criminals inside. Indestructible, the inside of the prison remained untouched by the passage of time, but the world outside continued to be a mystery to all those inside.

The large metal walls and twisting corridors proved impossible to escape from. The convict numbers grew, and so did their power.

The prisoners grew restless, tore at the walls and attacked the guards. They never stood a chance.

The AI, in a last ditch effort, permanently sealed all exits, condemning all those inside to an eternity of solitude.

With no guards to regulate them, the convicts started their own brand of law and order. Executions were regular punishments, and gangs ran much of the 'government' (Dark Knight Rises style, for reference).

In this world it is a daily struggle for supplies, power, and survival.

You are one of these convicts; trapped in here until the end of time, or are you?

Based far in the future, can you survive my prison?

It is the beginning of a new day, or so you think. The sun and stars have no existence here.

The door to your cell hisses open, showing that the AI is allowing you to move about the prison again. With a creak, your get up of your bed and step into the Yard. The bright artificial sunlight blinds you, but it passes.

Looking around, you see a number of shady deals going on in the darkest corners, a couple of random ponies leaning against walls, and Red across the entire yard.

What do you do?

[Finale Objectives: Escape the Prison.

Finale Secondary Objectives:

Take control of a gang.

Build an Artium weapon.

Create a lucrative business.

Defeat the AI.

Find out the truth about The Chambers.]

"Morning AI. Thanks for not killing me in my sleep or anything." Spotted Rich said, mostly to himself. He didn't know if the AI responded to politeness, or if it could even hear him, but It was the single power in this dump he actually respected and he'll snatch at any opportunity to win its favor.

Lifting a hoof to his forehead, he felt the stump that had once been his horn. How long had it been since it was taken from him by the nut-job with the cutters. With his sleep magic he could have been a force to be reckoned with, now he was a joke. A unicorn who couldn't do magic without feeling pain, he'd only lived this long through use of his quick wit and silver tongue.

Rich walked out his door, casually walking towards the other end of the yard, hoping that Red's presence would quieten any random bloodlust anypony could have developed during the "night."

Jacob was observing everything in the courtyard for a while, trying to figure out how this new society worked and how to use it to his advantage. After much though he decided to join a gang because it would give him power. He new that if he tryed to make his own gang not many people would join and it would be crushed pretty easily. So he decided to join a gang with a decent reputation, to work his way up until he became the leader of the gang. He approched some ponies in the gang he wanted to join. "I want to join your gang."

(OOC: Are your also going to roleplay as the other convicts,Writer?)

Church walked into the yard and stretched his legs. Another day, another fight to survive. He shouldn't even be here. He was framed for the murder of 6 ponies and was sentenced here. He stopped feeling sorry for himself. He was here and that was that. He walks around and decided he needed a few things for his next science experiment. He walks up to Red. "Did you get the things I asked for? A scalpel, six batteries, a syringe, a test tube, a mouse, and some water?" He waits for Red to respond.

One of the gangsters scoffs. "Yeah? Well how bad do you want it?"

"Say," The other interrupts. "Didn't the boss say we needed to collect from that dead beat junkie?"

"Yeah... Hey, yeah! Say, if you can do that for us, maybe we'll put in a good word for ya."

Seems that was you'll have to do to get their trust.

"Not much of that today," He answers. "Seems my usual sources have all been dried up lately. I heard one of the Tunnel Runners found a descent shipment though."

Yeah... that seems like a pretty good source for now.

[Minor Character Note: Red's supplies have been short lately, maybe you can help him with that later.]

Red raises an eyebrow to you. "Anything you need? My supplies have been a bit dry lately."

[Note to all science players: Drug unlocked: Red Dust. Requires: Healing Powder, Heated Liquids, Broxel flower. (Any unlocked drugs can be made in a chemist lab. There are many, so no need to worry.)

All Player Objective: Make some friends in your environment. Up until this point you've been fairly neutral lately, but it won't last that way forever. (All objectives are optional)]

"No sir." Replied Rich, giving a respectful nod. He was surprised by Red addressing him, so his mouth move faster than his mind. "Just trying to avoid any crazy pony looking to take the rest of it." He moved his eyes gestured to his horn. He'd learned quickly to use his condition to his advantage. It made him seem less of a threat and it was mildly disturbing, making ponies more inclined to leave him alone.

He cleared his throat, "Just trying to get through the day. Figured nopony would come and start something with you around. That isn't a problem, is it?"

"I've got the time, but that horn probably won't keep ponies at bay for long; you aren't the first to have that happen." He sniffs. "So either you learn to protect yourself, or you'll be sharing a shallow grave with some other slow-witted convict."

Seems like a smart idea, looks will only go so far after all.

Church winces at the thought of dealing with a gang. "I try to avoid gangs as much as possible. All I want are peace and quite. I'll brake up the occasional fight as I am a peace keeper. However this is rather important as it could be my next breakthrough in defence. So I'll talk to them about it." Church turns around and heads to the east side of the courtyard. Tunnel Runners territory. He approaches what looks like a lookout for the gang. "I'm looking for a Tunnel Runner dealer. I hear you guys may have something that I need."

(OOC: They're not a gang, it's the merchants that sell stuff- a longer name for the Runners.)

One of the runner looks at you for a moment, then points to a pile of crates a little ways away. Seems like over there would be the seller.

As you walk forward, you notice that a number of people are rustling about in the clutter.

Jacob got the information of the junkie and left to go collect. He found the junkie on the ground and saw that he was too high on drugs to even notice him. "Well this should be easy enough." Jacob slowly reached into his pockets grabbing money. The junkie looked at him and grabbed his hoof. "Dont go away easter bunny, come and play with me." The junkie slowly let go of Jacob. "Note to self never pickpocket anyone ever again. If he wasnt so high i would have been screwed. Thank god for the mind rotting effects of drugs." Jacob walked away from him counting the money. He found the gang members from earlier. " Here's the money, there's even a bit extra then what he owed. So would you say im good enough to join? "

The Gangers snatch the money out of your hand. "Yeah, whatever. Now get lost deadbeat, or we'll quick your ass to next week."

They both walk off, chuckling and counting the money. Whatever just happened, you think you might have been played.

What an ego-buster.

"Well, that turned morbid quickly." His body relaxed, but his mind began racing. He could have ponies saying he's weak, saying he couldn't defend himself, but calling him just another "slow-witted convict" frustrated him. He could have just shut up and enjoyed his fleeting peace, but he was determined to demonstrate his intelligence. "Still, considering where we are, pointing out somepony's flaws is a kindness. Kinder that exploiting them anyway."

Rich paused for a moment. "Still, I'm not looking for sympathy, Luna knows that's a waste of time in here. You say I need to protect myself? Well, as individuals go, you're in the top two for power in this place, so getting in your good books would go along way," He turned slightly, looking over the yard, Red just in his field of vision, waiting for the inevitable inquiry into the other "most powerful person."

*Red made a note of what you're getting at

No matter how long you wait, the AI doesn't speak to you. Odd, you expected more.

"Boy, are you just going to stand there all day, or are you going to take care of business?" Red interrupts your thoughts. "If somebody wants you dead, you'd be dead, and there's not much I can do about that."

Seems Red is a bit eager to get rid of you. It'd probably be best to follow his advice and obtain a weapon of some kind, and supposedly the Runners have a decent stream of supplies.

Rich was disappointed Red wasn't willing to humor him.

"You're supposed to be the big supplier in town, and "'there's not much you can do about that'?" Rich smiled, happy to catch this slip up, once again proving his intelligence. "You must be in bigger trouble than you're letting on. I'm guessing you can't deal with this yourself without raising suspicion. If people suspect your supplies have run out, you're favor will mean nothing and your rivals will be quick to get rid of you before you can gain power again. So here's a plan. I subtly help you out, you get me a decent weapon and we become bestest friends forever." The last part was dripping with sarcasm.

"Mother buckers, nobody makes me do their dirty work and then treats me like trash. Even if they are in the South Side locos gang." Jacob walked into a new gangs territory, the Hell Hooves. " I know that you and the South Side locos are rival gangs. And in about ten minutes im going to trick two of their stupid members into running in here, I also am going to give you guys a nice sum of cash." Jacob wouldnt care that much if the Hell Hooves didnt let him in their gang after this. Jacob just wanted to get back at the two ponies who screwed him, but if he did get in the Hell Hooves it would be a bonus. Jacob ran towards the two South Side locos and grabbed the money right out of their hooves and began to run towards Hell Hooves territory. " I wonder what your boss will do to the two of you once he finds out you coundnt even collect money properly."

*-5 Respect from Red, being a condescending jerk does not make friends.

"Nah," He answers. "It's not the first time it's happened, probably won't be the last. Either way, I can't really do much for you, 'pal'."

And with that last note, he trots away.

Well... that didn't solve any of your problems...

What do you do?

"Oi, asshole, give that back!" One of them charges after you, only to get a pipe to the skull.

Before a second passes, a number of Gangers are on him, brutally beating the shit out of him. In the background, his friend runs off, shouting: "You son of bitch! I won't forget this!"

After the ganger on the ground is dead, one of the Hell's Hooves members turns to you. "We'll remember this one. 7:30 sharp, right here."

This could be important to your chances in the gang. You should probably follow their lead.

*The South Locos will not forget this.

*The Hell's Hooves will not forget this.

*+2 Ganger respect.

Church nods. "Thank you." He trots over to the stockpile and tries to peer over every pony to see what the fuss was about. There was a hold up. Some gang member from the Bladed Manes was holding up the line, hoarding everything. It looked like he had a posse too to keep the Runners at bay. Church walks up. Using his speech skill he manages to convince the Bladed Manes to take what they need and go. After this the Runners said he deserved next choice in supplies. He managed to scrape out a scalpel, his batteries, and a test tube before the other convicts began to pour in again. "I hoped to get a full set of supplies bit this is a start... Well at least I stopped a potential fight. That's what I try to do." He walks back into the holding area, stores his things in his cell, and walks into the courtyard again. He begins to search for potential other dealers who may be able to get him what he needs. He consults his fellow peace makers. "Do you guys know any other dealers? Red seems to be a little short and the Runners are way too busy and crowded."

"Not really," One of them answers. "Nobody's stupid enough to go into the tunnels other than the Runners, or Red for that matter."

Hm... maybe heading into the tunnels could be useful...

What do you do?

(OOC: Ladies and gentlemen, this has been not turning out the way I expected it to be. I'll see how much farther this goes, and decide whether or not I should try and rethink things.)

Quillusion awoke realizing her door was open. Oh how she hated this place, and had no idea what to do. She know there was quite a bit of violence going on around out there, but she didn't want to get involved in all that. She left her cell and looked around.

(I have no idea what I should be doing at this point...)

(Just go with the flow)

The bright artificial sunlight blinds you, but it passes.

Quillusion looked over to Red. He seemed to be somepony who might be able to help her. She walked over to him, hoping he wasn't hostile, he didn't look like it, like the other ponies did. "Is there anyway I might be able to help you?" She asked, hoping that there would be.

Red laughs a little. "You know, I think that's the first time anyponies every asked someone in this hell-hole."

He think for a moment, then starts again "Now that I think about it, one of my sources down in the tunnels have gone missing. If you'd be willing to help, I might be able to spare a few supplies..."

Pretty tempting offer, you'd get in good with Red and score some supplies while you were at it; but the tunnels are a dangerous place, you'd need something to protect yourself going down there.

What do you do?

Church nods his head and thinks. This experiment of his is very important. But Important enough to risk his life? "I'll do it. Wish me luck guys. And do you have any advice for in the tunnels? Do you think that my horn will be enough defence in the tunnels?" He knows peace makers like himself should not be concerned about violence but the tunnels are extremely dangerous.

"Other than 'don't get lost' and 'bring a weapon'? How about bring a flashlight, it's pretty dark down there. The AI's light doesn't reach down there."

Flashlight and a way to find your way back, got it.

(Chance, successful) Maybe Red has something that can help, he has to have a stash somewhere...

[Objective: Find supplies before heading down into the tunnels.]

Church nods once again. "Thank you. Your advice is impeccable as always." Church looks over at Red and can see him talking with another pony. "Looks like some pony trying to get in good with Red. Looks like she knows what she's doing too..." He then begins the walk over to Red.
