Jacob walks to higher ground where he could get a better view when the deal goes down. He pearched himself like a vulture waiting for it's prey. He looked a little rediculous with the mask and cape on but he didnt care. He wanted to see what they were trading before Jacob stopped their deal. He tried to stay as quiet as possible.

Church immediately heads toward the market section. He looks around but can't see him anywhere. He then begins to question the ponies around the market if they had seen any sign of him. He hoped they had or his trail would go cold. He wondered of maybe any of the Runner's had seen him.

Not very much about him, a lot of ponies walk though there; but a few act sort of suspicious about it.

You know they're hiding something, you just need to get it out of them somehow.

Bribes... you don't have much...

Violence... you are bigger than them...

What do you do?

(Na-na-na-na-na-na-na.. Bat-pony!

As incredibly ridiculous as you look, you watch and wait for them. It takes a while, but eventually you see two ponies get close together.

(Perception check, minimum) You can't hear what they're saying, but you see them handing off something. Seems like the people.

Now is the time to strike.

What do you do?

Jacob pulled out his gun and got ready to shoot it. He made his cape just conceal his gun. If either of them tried anything funny Jacob was going to shoot them both. Jacob yells from high ground. "YOUR IN THE HELL'S HOOVES TERRITORY. DROP ALL YOUR GOODS AND YOU CAN BOTH LEAVE ALIVE."

They don't drop anything, but instead they take off running.

One heading down a corridor behind you, the other into the Yard. It might not be wise to go chasing them down, but it almost might not be wise to let them go without teaching them a lesson.

Church remembers that he has one particular skill that has been useful to him since he was young. Speech. Perhaps he can persuade them into them giving information. "You don't understand. This is official business on call from Red who you and I both know has almost as much power as AI. Now do you think that would be a very good impression on him to interrupt his official business?" Church hopes that they listen to reason.

"Don't go waving that name around here, you'll only get yourself killed," One of them snarls. "But I don't want any trouble with him."

He nods to a room in the back. "He went to see Cross-Stitch, he's back there."

You thank them and move to the door, wondering whether you should knock or not.

What do you do?

(OOC: This is it for me people. My brain is fried and I'm not feeling it anymore tonight. Goodnight, and GOD SPEED!)

Jacob took a quick moment to think. (They probably arnt armed or else they would shoot at me. I can't catch them both but I can't go for the one heading to the yard it's to public. The whole reason i got this mask was to get less noticed. So i'll go for the one in the corridor.) Jacob began to chase after him. He wanted to intimidate him so he yelled. "YOU CAN'T GET AWAY FROM ME. iM GONNA CUT YOU INTO LITTLE PIECES."

These guys aren't too bright, clearly.

Stepping out, you find yourself in a large room. Several hallways lead off from this main room, which is full of operating table and messy equipment.

Breathing slowly, a deep queasiness passes. There are many rooms to explore...

What do you do?

Rich quickly checked out the equipment around him, looking for anything that could be useful. He also kept a careful eye onto the corridors. When he and the others we're finished, Rich spoke to Crimson. "Well then boss, where to now?" He then had a quick look to see if the others had had any success.

(Agility check, failed) You run as fact as you can, but you never catch up to him. It's as if he just vanished...

The other one has gone missing, and it seems doubtful that they'll be scared off forever, shooting first might have made that clear. If this gets back to the Hell's Hooves... you're in serious trouble.

They managed to find a locked crate and a few half-empty first-aid kits. Not much.

"Well now we go back. We've got what we need, now we need someone to pick this lock." He scoffs. "Unless you can pick it, of course."

You're not sure, you'd need some supplies for starters, and you've never been much of a lock-pick.

What do you do?

(OOC: Hey guys, I'm not well today, so I'm probably not going to be on. Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll make it up to all of you tomorrow.)

"I thought Ironside said that was your forte." Rich distinctly remembered asking about his teammates' strengths before leaving the yard. "I guess I'll be the one carrying it back, since apparently everyone hates me at the moment." This would hopefully win back some favor and give them a reason not to kill him while they made their way back. Rich lifted it onto his back, using his magic to keep it steady and not crush him. Using his broken horn hurt, but it was quite bearable. Rich acted like it hurt slightly more than it actually it did to seem more impressive.

Church looks at the door that good potentially send him to the perpetrator. He'd heard stories about Cross Stitch and from what he heard she was a clothing dealer. A merchant shouldn't have any reason to run or keep a secret so he simply knocks on the door and waits for a response.

Jacob didnt think it would be that big a deal if he let them go because he stopped the deal and managed to scare them and judging by the way they ran off just after looking at him he would say that his mask was a success. He didnt know how the Hell's Hooves would react when and if they found out that he didnt kill them. Jacob took off his mask. Jacob decided to walk back to the terminal from the other day.

>Trinity, this is codename J. Are you there?

Jacob waited for a response.

*They are mildly impressed

"I don't have any of my tools. No tools, no lockpicking." Ironsides explained.

Made sense enough.

You attempt to carry it out, but you don't give very far. The thing IS very heavy, afterall...

"We could blow it up." Offers Deadeye. Probably not a small plan.

What do you do?

You don't hear a response.

This could be bad... maybe you should run... or not...

(OOC: Because this possibly explain some stuff, as this post is extremely short. 'The Wasteland' is a series of places connected by the world and scenario. People all across 'The Wasteland' affect your adventure, but you'll have to wait to find out how characters relate to the other worlds. So remember, what happens here, doesn't always stay in here.

For a little while, there's no response; then you see the letters pop-up.

>Hello?

Seems like your friend is here to talk after-all. Which is good, you have a few things you want to talk about.

What do you do?

(OOC: Sorry about the wait folks, I was really not feeling well yesterday...

Rich put the crate down and stretched.

"I wouldn't recommend it. Blasting it open could damage what's inside. Hell, the explosives might be worth more than what's in it. Also, we don't want to attract attention. If we get it open intact, we could sell it. A runner might think it's more professional to keep his merchandise in a crate than out in the open. Hell, it might be worth more to somepony as a table than as a crate. I don't mind carrying it, but I you'll be held accountable for it breaking my spine. If one of you helped me, that leaves two of us left to watch out for anypony that could jump us. If we swap every now and then, then that's even better."

Rich smirked,

"Of course, it's not not up to me what we do, is it."

He was pleased with himself. This kind of quick. intellectual analysis was something the other members of the team seemed to be lacking.

"Keeping it closed would make it harder to carry, and Runners can't be too pick, now can they?" Crimson Red growls. "And last I checked, you're not in charge of this little group, now are you?"

He stomps away.

"Well I thought it was a good idea," Ironsides mutters.

Seems like it's his way, or the highway.

What do you do?

Jacob replied.

>I was wondering where exactly are you contacting me from? i doubt your in the prison. I would also like to know If you plan to help me out.

(OOC : no problem man if you didnt feel like going on yesterday thats fine. Now lets move this roleplay forward)

Silence for another long pause.

>... I can't tell you that. I can't say I have a plan, but I'm going to see what I can do from here.

Silence again.

>Where are you right now, in the prison?

You think for a moment; why would he need that kind of information?

(OOC: Thanks for understanding, now... ALLONSY!

Church backs away. He yells at the door. "Cross Stitch. This is Church. A peace keeper on official business from Red himself. Show yourself. I don't want a fight. Simply information. Please show yourself." Church again waits to see if Cross Stitch will pony up and show herself.

"Go away! Don't come in here!" You hear her shouting.

What's wrong with her? It's pretty obvious she knows something.

Breaking down the door, you see a pony with a bunch of mismatched color and patterns for her color.

"I said go away! I look hideous!"

This is... unusual...

Church looks at her and simply smiles. "I'm not here to browse clothing or to judge you. Hell look at me. I feel like my dirt clumps have dirt clumps after being in that tunnel for so long. Anyway as I said earlier. I'm here on business from Red. Did you have a customer earlier who fits the description of being yellow and wearing a cape?"

"Alright, alright. I was just giving my opinion, making sure I mentioned all the variables I could think of before you made a decision. Sorry for not being the super experienced runner you are. You want to blow the crate open, go right ahead. Just don't chew me out for trying to tell you some ideas you might not have thought about." Rich was getting tired of these games, at least Red had the decency to talk calmly when he was annoyed.

(OOC: lol It's all good. Don't worry about it.)

She shakes her head. "Not that I know of."

It's pretty obvious she's lying, but you're not sure what the best way to get the information out of her is.

Hm... she seems pretty obvious about her current... situation. Maybe you could exploit this to get her to spill the beans.

Jacob though for a moment. Something felt different, the person was taking long to get back to Jacob, and his questions wernt that hard to awnser. He began to suspect that the person talking to him wasnt Trinity. He decided to keep that a secret and try to prove weather or not it was Trinity.

>Trinity, im at the same spot as yesterday. But I need to at least know when this plan of yours is going down. And is their anything you want me to do on my end?

Jacob remembered that Trinity told him that he accessed one of the guard's terminals yesterday. So if this person he was talking to didnt know what he was talking about, then that proves that Jacob isnt talking to Trinity. And Jacob worded the conversation in a way to seem like he still wanted to help.

You find yourself back at the trapdoor. Shit, you must've gotten turned around at some point (And yes, I did decide the left would lead back here, and the right would lead further on.

"There you are, you fucking whore!" You hear the familiar voice yell, followed by sound of a shotgun going off.

You managed to duck behind cover before the pellets hit you. You're in a tough situation now.

What do you do?

Quilluison looks around for anything, there had to be something she could use to fight with. She then remembered the glass she still had, and hoped she might be able to trick him to come at her. "Haha, you can't hit me with that." She said, peeking her head out of the cover for a fraction of a second.

Church smirks. He could see that she was obviously lying to him. "That's too bad... Are you sure? It would be a real shame if someone were to find out what you really looked like... We both know what we want. You want your secret kept and I want information. Now spit it out before you become the laughing stalk of this prison."

>Jacob, I can't tell you what the plan is. The more you know about it, the more in danger everyone is in. As for where you are, you never told me. I need you to tell me, I need to know who you are, what you did, and why you're there and not here.

The secrecy is really getting annoying.

You notice he has a bullethole in his front-left leg; probably explains why you outran him so easily.

He starts limping towards you, firing off shell after shell at you.

He's getting close... closer... within stabbing distance.

(Agility check, successful) You launch at him and drive the glass into his neck. He is dead before you even let go.

Two bodies.

What do you do?

*She will remember this

"You're a real piece of shit, you know that? Fine, I don't know their name but yes they were here. They wanted a 'scare-crow' mask, or whatever." She grumbles. "Are we done now? Can you leave me alone, or am I going to have to quick your ass out of my store?"

Seems like a decent amount of information.

What do you do?
