After years of "development" and screenshots and various other things that I really didn't keep track of as I assumed this was dead, it has been released. Black Mesa a.k.a. the fan made Half Life HD edition is finally available for download. It does not contain the Xen world so its not complete yet, but the project is still alive and is probably worth checking out if you like HL1. No multiplayer however it is planned on being made at some point and my guess would be it being released with Xen.

Oh it didn't release with Xen? Crap...

I'm currently playing it in Hard difficulty and not having any problem yet, just a graphical problem.

I can't enable multicore rendering and without it, my source games don't run well... can anyone help me?

God I'm so happy that it's finally released!

I've been eager to play this for so so so soooo long now >.< (just got around to play it a couple hours ago and I'm having huge nostalgiagasms<3)
