I'm actually gonna assume that Jokuc was poking fun at the people who think they're master trolls (9gag, I'm looking at you) just because they spam or use overused, unoriginal memes (which I'm kinda using in this thread to poke fun at the idea that this was a joke).

Trolling is a name for glorified cyberbullying in many cases... so yes, some people take it for what it is. This post isn't trolling (as much as it is pretending to troll while just posting long-dead image macros), so it doesn't quite fit in that sense.

 

The main thing that matters is whether or not trolling is done in a controlled manner to get a reaction from the victim, or if it is done in a meanspirited way. The latter IS cyberbullying, whether people like that definition or not.

 

In fact, I just hate the verb "trolling" alltogether. It's not a cool thing to say anymore, and in fact it never really was. Either you're just cyberbullying, or you're acting comedic. "Trolling" implies you're doing something special, when you're not.
