Hello! Since I'm new here I figured I'd mingle a little and post some of my pony art. I usually draw ponies for relaxation, so I don't spend a lot of time on most (that's why some pieces don't have shading or are sketch-ish), but I still enjoy it a lot! I will only be showing off my own OC's here, as the requests I have drawn are mostly for people from another site.

 

I make other art too, but it's not my little pony related. xD

Well, some of them I sketch on paper first and then scan onto the computer (the first one you see is an example of that), but all of the drawings you see are made in photoshop. If people are interested I could scan some sketches from paper once, but I doubt it'd be as interesting to see.

Thank you! I have a deviantart, but a lot of my art doesn't make it on there, as I do a lot of art that's marely practices and small sketches. My deviantart is Setah.deviantart.com. I'll put a few sketches in a spoiler for you

very nice drawings, i rely like honeycomb and nameless OC number 2 aka Sugertop (i think Cherrytop would be a nice name)

the only criticism i could give would be to neaten the lines a bit because they seem kinda messy but i'm guessing that's intentional

Haha, I've been told that I draw in a messy way before. xD For sketches I just can't be bothered to fix that. Thanks for the feedback, though!

 

@flutters : That character is my OC Ashe, though I usually don't draw her in full armor! She is based im the WoW universe. I don't have a lot of good art of her, but I do sketch her every now and then.

Thanks, Tiger! Though that's not a book, it's a gameboy (Or, if you want it to be kind of canon, a Gamecolt 3000). ^^

Gorgeous, simply gorgeous, especially the shading and the hair. Some of the hooves seem a tad pointy and some of the earlier ponies seem to have rather beaky snouts, but I can't think off anything to nag about on your newer stuff. Major kudos to you.

Thank you for your feedback! Drawing ponies is a good way for me to practice colour and style, so yeah, I spend a lot of time on the shading in some cases ^^

 

I use basic brushes in both photoshop and paint tool SAI, I just change the settings a teensy bit.
