writing Venting time

Writing this to get stuff of my chest.

Solul.

 

Nine consecutive years of gray is what I have faced.

No matter where I look, gray is all I see.

 

Some people come in, and bring color to my life.

The moment they leave, the gray comes back.

 

The sun may be up, but the land is always dark.

No matter how hard someones tries, the darkness always stays.

 

It's the book of my life, and the pages are ripped.

People come in, and rip my pages away.

 

Piece by piece, my book becomes old.

And the missing pages turn away anyone else.

 

For no one wants a book with missing pages.

A fitting thread for the mood i am usually in, the darkness only seems to subside for a short while and when i return to normal thoughts it rises always at the worst of times, a fitting way to releas your feelings is through a talent or through poetry and music, tis a shame i have neither a talent or knowlege of any poetry to clear my mind, for this world is dark and that is all i see the inoscence of childhood far in the distant past

 

I wish one day to be as happy as others around me seem to be and share the fake smile of a happy society.

I find the first two stanzas to be... "iffy"

 

But after them, there is a beautiful little poem,,,

 

The fact that you ended it with "No one wants a book with missing pages"

raises ones questioning spirit and will to go beyond what they already knew.

 

 

I would want a book with missing pages, because that way I can my own tidbits of the story into the mix and it will cretae something new and deserving of its title.
