An explosion rocks Ponyville. It was at the bakery where Pinky works. Everyone inside is accounted for...and OK.

 

BUT. There is a huge undulating mass of Tapioca Pudding moving down the road, knocking over stands. Ponies are fleeing in panic.

 

What would your OC pony do?

Page Turner would try to salvage as many of his books as possible before the wave hit his store.

Knowing that there's nothing he can physically do to impede the creature's progress or contain it, and everybody's panicked state leading them out of harm's way with no intervention necessary on his part, Dark Brew would take his black coffee to the roof of his home and sit in the chair he keeps up there for enjoying the weather and sunrise on Saturday mornings, for that would afford him the best vantage point for surveying the spectacle as it unfolds. He would also take his Mosin Nagant with him to take a few shots at the creature in the off chance that a bullet could cause any harm to an amorphous blob. Assuming it does not, he would relaxes until somepony with a more extensive knowledge of chemistry (probably Twilight or Zecora) resolved the predicament.
