Make MLP Forums a better place!

Ask not what MLP Forums can do for you, but what you can do for MLP Forums.

Famous American words on MLP Forums!: "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!" :)

More emphasis on responses in Welcoming Plaza is crucial I feel to sustainable new person activity. Also accepting any and all friend requests you might be sent. I know people are picky about who the accept but come on. It's not like everyone in your friend list has access to your bank account and knows your fears and class schedule. I never look at my friend list so I don't feel obligated to spruce it up with only the top users. I take all requests because it could help the other person feel better.

I accept all of my friend requests, and I think that if you do, then you should start talking to them more. If you are the one that wants to send the request, I recommend having a reason.

You do bring up quite a great explanation my kind sir! You have my hoof! :D

So that's where Derpy Hooves News motto comes from! Anyway, I don't know if I'm a nice guy or not (I'd like to consider myself so), but I always try to be neutral if I see a discussion coming up, try to "deactivate the bombs", so to speak, I think I am nice to all the people I normally talk to, and if I see someone in trouble I try to help out within my knowledge/abilities...so...I guess I am making my effort for making MLPForums a better place? Wish I could be sure of that...

I feel it's time for this thread to come back up again. I have noticed some people complaining about "a thread ruined my day today", and that they were stressed.

Also, not many people got to read this. I think it's kind of important to cheer up more people here, especially now that Christmas is coming soon. I hope you guys find this thread to clear your heads if you are having trouble on the Forums. I decided to reply again today, because no one else was going to see it if I hadn't!

Just want to see some more smiles come across! smile.png

Being nice to someone is definetly a step in the right driection but how about not being a jerk as well? Along with complimenting someone you could resist the urge to call someone out on a mistake they may have made and look the other way. All opinions matter and you don't need to counter someones with your own.

The mind of the host will desperately try to create memories where none exist. Simple right?
