Letrix looked at the clock he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. "Was this a good idea to invite ponies I barely know to my house?" Those words had been running through his head all day. He quickly grabbed a glass of his homemade cocktail and downed it. "Well it's too late for thoughts like that now." Letrix mumbled as he got ready to answer his door.

She was a bit jumpy as she made her way to the door. Flaret had been eager to leave a long time ago, but she knew that she would have been way too early if she had done that. Now she would be just on time! With a nervous smile on her face she knocked on the door. The colt who invited her said there were going to be more ponies, but she hadn't seen anyone yet. Maybe everypony was inside already, was she late? Or maybe they weren't coming and she was going to be all alone... Quickly she shaked her head, as if she wanted to throw the thoughts out. She was going to be fine, it was going to be a fun night. She barely knew Letrix, but for as far as she had seen he was a nice colt.

 

Flaret had a chocolate brown coat and her hair was neatly brushed and put away in a loose ponytail. She looked way more groomed than she normally did, "Anyone there?" she asked as she knocked on the door again, carefully. "It's me, Flaret. You invited me for the party."

Fire Blade checked himself. If he left now, he'd just barely make it. But he didn't really know Letrix...

A few minutes later, he was walking down the street and getting nearer to Letrix's house. He saw a mare standing at the door, almost regretting coming, so he slowed down a bit.

Letrix opened the door and saw Flaret standing there. "Hello, Flaret was your name right? Please come in and have a cocktail" Letrix said to the mare as he levitated a cocktail towards her. He then noticed Fire Blade walking rather slowly towards his house. He gave Fire blade a nod and waited for him at the doorway

Draco flew to Cherry blossom's house quickly thinking he would miss out on being with his friend. He landed infront of her door and knocked. "Cherry Blossom are you in?" Draco asked as he knocked on her door with a tap, tap, tap of his hoof. Normally he would be delivering packages to ponies everywhere but today was his day off so he would spend it with his dear, dear friend Cherry Blossom.

Cherry Blossom made her way to the front door and opened it. "Draco? Is that you? Well why are you here today?" She smiled at him, but she wasn't sure where exactly he was. Cherry Blossom was a blind pegasus, but she was able to get around her house just fine with the help of her dog.

 

"Woof!" Snow Flake barked as he panted and wagged his tail at Draco.

Staring into her mirror Katami had one more go-over on her appearance. Her coat was well groomed, her mane was straightened out from its regular pointy style and was reflecting light with a healthy glare, her outfit was conveniently covering the part of her flank where her cutie mark should be. She looked into the mirror one last time as she softly said: "I guess I'm a little over dressed... I hope nopony notices." She smiled at her reflection, grabbed a necklace, and left for the party.

 

When Katami arrived at Letrix's house she kindly greeted the colt standing at the door. "I take it you're the host?" She handed the necklace she brought along to Letrix. "Here, please take this. It's a little token of my appreciation for going through the trouble of organizing this."

Flaret smiled and nodded. She took over the cocktail with ease, using her own levitation spell to do so. "Thank you. Letrix, right?" A bit hestitatingly she walked inside, she was the first visitor, it seemed. Quietly she peered around before she turned to look at the door opening. She saw another mare coming in and smiled, though she didn't say anything yet. She didn't want to bother anyone...

Draco asked with a nervous tone"Well I was wondering if you would do me the honor of going to a party with me,"Draco looked at to the dog"Hey Snow Flake how are ya boy?" Draco laughed carefree. No deliveries equals no hurt Draco, which means no worrying Cherry blossom"So anyway I mean if you want to go with me that's fine"Draco though confident in his speed in deliveries he could never quite talk to mares especiallyhis best friend Cherry Blossom. Draco blushed redder than his fur.

"Oh I'd really love to go, but does my mane look okay? Do I have my favorite red bow on?" Cherry Blossom asked as she checked her mane with her hooves. Snow Flake jumped around reluctantly and started licking Draco. "Oh and could you help me find Snow Flake's dog food again? I'll have to fill his bowl before I leave." she added as she started petting the dog.

Letrix opened the door and saw Flaret standing there. "Hello, Flaret was your name right? Please come in and have a cocktail" Letrix said to the mare as he levitated a cocktail towards her. He then noticed Fire Blade walking rather slowly towards his house. He gave Fire blade a nod and waited for him at the doorway

 

Blade picked up his pace a bit.

"Hey... You Letrix? I'm Blade.. Fire Blade."

He held out his hoof to Letrix.

"Thanks for inviting me, man. Honestly, I don't think I get out enough, and I can't pass out a chance to do so..."

He was a bit nervous. He saw the mare was already inside. How many others would be here?

Dimitri stared into his bathroom mirror. His eyes were wide open and he was already regretting his decision. "Why did I agree to party?! I never been to party. I'm just foreigner that no one knows. I'd just freak everypony out." He started to shake as he combed his beard. "Is it formal? Is it casual? Oh why did I do this!!?" He smacked himself and stared back into the mirror. "You can do it Dimitri! Just mingle.....don't forget to bring the vodka though."

Dimitri slipped his leather jacket on and placed a small flask in the inside pocket. He gave one more look at himself in the mirror and nodded. "It is fine, just don't bring up the past." Dimitri scooted outside his cabin and trotted down to the address. He saw ponies already inside. He tensed up and hid behind a bush next to the house.

Draco said assuringly"Now now Cherry you look quite beautifull as you always do,"Draco looked at Cherry slightly"Of course I will plus I'll put it in the bowl for him you don't have to worry Cherry.Uh may I come in?"Draco slowly came in and got Snow Flake's food then pour it in slowly.When Draco was done he put the dog food up then walked to Cherry"Ready milady?"Draco asked in his best gentlemanly voice.

Cherry Blossom blushed a little, but she nodded and and got out of the house. She closed the house door and started following Draco, but she held his hoof, so she would be able to follow along. Letrix thanked Katami and then put the necklace round his neck. He carried on standing by the doorway when he noticed a pony hiding behind a bush. Letrix teleported behind him and whisperd into his ear "You do know the party is inside the house? Not in the bush"

Nightfall walked up to the mare (Flaret). His mind was flooded with stupid things he had said to other mares, all his friends. He remembered they weren't meant to be mean, but came out that way...

"Hey. I'm Fire Blade. Nice to meet you."

He hoped he wouldn't screw something up this time, especially since he didn't know her.

Cherry Blossom blushed a little, but she nodded and and got out of the house. She closed the house door and started following Draco, but she held his hoof, so she would be able to follow along. "So who is the host of the party? I don't think I've gotten an invitation, but then again, I could never see what was the mail." she added as she continued flying alongside him.

 

"Some pony named Letrix I hear he's a nice fellow,"Draco said then added"You know Cherry a beautifull mare like yourself should have no problem finding her special some pony. Plus your personality is great, your kind andcaring but know when to speak your mind, to me it boggles the mind how a lady like yourself isn't beating the stallions off with a stick,"said Draco with a laugh.

Katami smiled at the host and looked past him at the ponies inside the house house. She hesitated for a while. She was considering whether she should go over and introduce herself or if she should just find a quiet part of the room and keep to herself when she noticed the pony watching from the bushes. She was about to walk over to him, but Letrix beat her to it, teleporting behind the other pony. Katami silently chuckled at the display before her.

Letrix thanked Katami and then put the necklace round his neck. He carried on standing by the doorway when he noticed a pony hiding behind a bush. Letrix teleported behind him and whisperd into his ear "You do know the party is inside the house? Not in the bush"

 

Dimitri jumped from the bush startled. He brushed the leaves from his beard and mane."Oh! Uh yes! Party is in house.....not bush. Heh, I guess that I should go into house now yes?" Dimitri, hyperventilating, nervously expected a harsh comeback. He stood there waiting for a answer.....

Flaret looked up and then smiled, a bit nervously still. "My name is Flaret, nice to meet you too," she said, reaching out her hoof. The drink was still floating next to her, it didn't really seem to cost her any energy to hold it there. "So, you were invited too? I barely know the host, but I thought socializing a bit wouldn't hurt."

She smiled and just continued hovering with him. "So how were things going with your job?" Cherry Blossom asked, trying to pass the time on the way to the party. It seemed that the two ponies weren't very far from their destination, but Cherry Blossom wasn't aware of it.

Flaret looked up and then smiled, a bit nervously still. "My name is Flaret, nice to meet you too," she said, reaching out her hoof. "That's the same for me... I don't really "get out" often.."

He hesitated at "get out."

"So, um..."

He closed his eyes for a second, trying to get a hold of himself. He felt nervous, which made him afraid he would screw up more, which meant he wasn't focusing and he would screw up, making him more nervous in an upward spiral.

"Oh you know the usual me crashing into either walls getting my head stuck or crashing into doors leaving Draco sized imprints. But hey the looks on the faces of my customers when they get their long awaited packages is worth the pain. Plus i get to see your beautifull face after a hard days work when we go out and grab a cup of coffee"Draco said and noticed we are there.Dreading the thought of not spending time with Cherry but he said"Oh we're here,"We land infront of Letrix"Hello good sir my lady friend and I got your invites to your party. Sky laughed at Dimitris reaction. "In case you've forgotten my names Letrix. That's a fine beard you have by the way." Letrix said as he turned to see Draco and Cherry blossom. "Wow. You must be very lucky Draco to have such a beautiful marefriend" Letrix said as he began to walk back up into his house.

"Oh stop Draco, you're embarrassing me. Though I really think you should visit a clinic." Cherry Blossom added along the way. When she was introduced to Letrix she blushed at Draco's and Letrix's remark. "Wow I never knew that I was that pretty, but I'll never know what I look like. Or what you guys look like."
