Everything was good in Equestria, except for the fact that most but not all of the pegasi and unicorns though that they were better than earth ponies. It never got too bad, sometimes the unicorns and pegasi would act like they were supperior than earth ponies. However, recently things have been getting out of hoof.

 

One day, Jacob was in the Ponyville marketplace. He walked up to a pegasus shopkeeper. "I would like to buy carrots please." The shopkeeper spoke at Jacob with a stern voice. "Ok that's going to be 5 bits per carrot." Jacob shouted "WHAT, THAT'S A COMPLETE RIP OFF. IT SHOULD BE 1 BIT PER CARROT!!!" "WELL, AN EARTH PONY LIKE YOU SHOULD GO DIG IN THE DIRT IF YOU WANT CARROTS." A unicorn guard heard the shouting and decided to check it out. "What's going on here?" "This shopkeeper's trying to rip me off." "No, i just dont want to do busyness with an earth pony." The guard turned his attention to Jacob. "Clearly, you started this. Leave now." Jacob began to walk away angry, he overheard the guard wisper "Stupid earth pony" The shopkeeper spoke "Wait, earth pony..." Jacob turned around to look at the shopkeeper. "Here's a tomato, free of charge" He trew a tomato right in Jacob's face. A crowed of unicorns and pegasi began to laugh at Jacob, even the guard laughted at him. "Mark my words, you'll all regret this!!!" Jacob walked off angry.

 

The next day, Jacob started to organise a protest group for earth ponies but in secret it was a revolution. After one week, the protest group began to get a good number of earth ponies in it. Jacob was looking to get more members.

 

Meanwhile, Twilight and the other elements of harmony, were in her house hanging out. "So what do you girls want to do next?"

Steel and Big Mac were team-pulling a cart loaded down with fertilizer through Ponyville when Steel noticed a propaganda flier.

"Whas'at?"

"Some flier... Somethin' about earth-pony mistreatment..."

Big Mac shrugged and they continued pulling to cart to Sweet Apple Acres.

Daft had been running away with tears in his eyes. He was made fun of for being an earth pony. He then stopped dead in his tracks. ''Earth pony.. Mistreatment?'' Daft said while cocking an eyebrow over his goggles. He grinned slightly and walked towards the flier taped to Sugarcube Corner. ''Finally.. Vengeance.'' Daft said while smirking.

Steel looked at the Earth pony who read the flier. Fidgeting his wings slightly, he turned to Big Mac, "I don't like this..."

"Prolly just some Canterlotian rantin'."

"Yeah..." Steel had a hint of doubt and fear in his voice. The Pegasus approached the Earth pony, "' 'Scuse me. I was wonderin' whatcha meant by mistreatment?"

Daft looked at the pegasus and stared at him. ''I've been tortured, bullied, and harassed. I think it's about time we get the respect we deserve. But obviously you unicorns and pegasai don't like us because we don't have any special abilities. Now, I must be on my way. Vengeance is awaiting.'' Daft said while he walked off.

"Well then..." After the odd encounter with the stallion, Steel returned to Big Mac and helped him pull the cart along the road.

"What's that spiel about?"

"Sumtin about abuse." As they continued, the cart hit a bump and knocked a barrel off the cart, thankfully, the lid was tight on the barrel.

"I'll get it." Steel lifted the barrel on his back and dropped it back in the cart before hitching himself back to the cart.

Jacob has been preparing, he had been doing some research on an artifact that could possibly be the anwser to the unicorn and pegasus problem. In the mean time he was working on the protest group. On the outside everything looked like a simple protest for equal rights, but if that didnt work he was planning on starting a revolution. Jacob keeped his plans a secret, even from his earth pony bretheren. He couldnt risk to let his plans get out.

 

Jacob was working at a recruitment stall when he saw Daft approach. "You their, would you like to join the group for equal treatment?"

''I am very interested, sir. I've been abused nearly all my life. I think it's time we either fight for our rights, or die trying. I would like it if I could join your protest. But be warned, sir.. I will take it seriously and violently.'' Daft said while looking at Jacob and saluting. This seems like a great idea.. But I feel like he is hiding something. And whatever he is hiding, I will enjoy.

Jacob smiled. "Now that's what i want to hear. Tell me, what's your name." Daft introduced himself. "Daft, good to meet you my name's Jacob. You can be as violent as you want as long as you think straight and dont do anything stupid or dangerous. Now let me ask you this. Think carefully before you anwser, im going to hold you to your words. Just how far are you willing to go to get our rights?"

''I'm willing to drown in my own blood for our rights. Considering I am goth, and that I wouldn't mind dying due to the fact life barely has a meaning.'' Daft said while grinning. ''But where will we be protesting? And When will we be protesting? I am very interested in this, so I would like to start as soon as possible.'' Daft said.

Flaret didn't like walking through the streets anymore. The mood had grown terrible in the past year, Earth Ponies being scolded for doing nothing and all Unicorns and Pegasi being frowned upon by the Earth Ponies in return, as if every single one of the other group was responsible for treating them badly. And now there was posters too, calling for a group up. This could never end well... She trotted through the streets, trying to get to her destination at a high pace. The saddlebag she was carrying was empty and bumping onto her flank because of her speed. She sighed, relieved when she finally got to the food stall, but when she opened her mouth to ask for something, the Earth Pony behind it started to speak. "We don't serve your kind anymore, go home," he said. Flaret blinked, her ears laying back against her neck. "B-but, I've never done anything wrong!" she stuttered. "I don't give a flying feather! Every single one of you is the same! Well, I've had it! Get lost!" She turned around, slowly moving away from the food stall. She was so hungry...

Big mac readied his plow to start off the planting season. Steel was off on his own farm, getting some well needed sleep because the past few day he would wake up early and go to bed late getting his new peach trees planted. Today was when he planned to bring his peaches into town to sell.

"Well arn't you excited Daft. I guess we can start now." Jacob looked back at the group of earth ponies behind him."MY FELLOW EARTH PONIES WE WILL NOW WALK TO THE TOWN MARKET AND PROTEST FOR ARE EQUALITY!!" With that the protest group marched towards the market.

She looked up as she heard the sounds of a big crowd coming near. Flaret backed away even more as she saw the earth ponies and tried to hide behind a pile of crates. What was going on? She didn't get it... Why would they protest all of a sudden, after all this time?

Steel woke up and donned his hat. He didn't need Big Mac's help, the load was light. He loaded his cart and hitched it, pulling it towards town.

 

As he approached, he heard the roars of the crowd and watched the unicorn hide away.

 

 

He parked his cart infront the Cake's and went over the the young Unicorn, stretching his wings as he walked.

 

"What's all this here ruckus?"

Meanwhile, Twilight and the other elements of harmony, were in her house hanging out. "So what do you girls want to do next?"

"Ooo Ooo!" Pinkie Pie was shouting jumping up and down.

 

"How about we go have a nice picnic today?" She Proposed. "We can eat, talk and play with the other ponies there too." Pinkie Added

 

"Ummm i dont know about that." Fluttershy responded. "But i'll go if you guys want me to."

Rainbow Dash was floating in the air. Before she could say anything, Pinkie started jumping around. She seemed to be annoyed with being in enclosed space, so she welcomed Pinkie´s idea with open hooves.

 

"Yeah, let´s go!" she agreed with excitement and put her shades on. "I´m hungry as hell anyway."

Daft smirked and pulled out a small pocket knife. ''Perfect.. Time for revenge.'' Daft said. ''So, we start at the town market, eh? I like that idea. I've been paying 20 bits for cherries my whole life. I think it's time I get them for 3 bits again.'' Daft said while following Jacob and the rest of the earth ponies.

(OOC: With Clarity gone, no one's roleplaying as AppleJack. In this roleplay, AppleJack is going to have a fairly big role to play, along with Pinky Pie. So does anyone what to roleplay as AppleJack?)

 

The protest group was pretty big, they went into the market and demanded fair prices. The market dealers felt intimidated by the number of earth ponies. Most of them offered more than fair prices out of fear of the protest getting violent. This could only make the relationship with earth ponies and the other races worse.

 

"A picnic sounds like a wonderful idea Pinky Pie." Most of the others agreed with Pinky Pie's idea for a picnic, so they left Twilight's house. On their way to the picnic location, they crossed the town market and saw the protest group. "I've seen alot of these flyers about a protest group. I have to say im a little worried that things might get out of hoof."

 

With a couple of other protesters, Jacob walked up to the pegasus shopkeeper who threw a tomato in his face. "Hello shopkeep, remember me." The shopkeeper looked nevous. "Please just leave, I dont want any trouble. Im sorry about last week. You arn't still mad about that are you?" Jacob said in a sarcastic voice. "Why would i still be mad about that, aside from the humilliation?" Jacob picked up a carrot off his food stand and took a bite out of it, without paying for it. "It taste's like your food is starting to rot, here let me and my friends help take those off your hoofs, free of charge." They took his food without paying for any of it, he was too afraid to complain with the number of earth ponies.

Flaret looked at the pegasus asking her about the commotion and shrugged a little, still keeping out of sight. "They're harassing the shopkeepers," she said softly. "I don't want to get in trouble with them... Maybe we should get out of here." She got up and began to walk, though for her house she had to pass through the crowd first.

''Good move, but man.. These carrots taste terrible.'' Daft said while tasting a carrot and scowling. ''Lemme give him a little peace gift.. And I don't actually mean peace.'' Daft said while walking back to the shopkeeper. He pulled out the small pocket knife and slashed it across the shopkeeper's face. ''That's payback, punk.'' Daft said while walking away. Leaving the shopkeeper with a bleeding cut on his cheek.

The group agreed to go on a picnic and everything was fine until the group went into the market area. There trouble arose;

 

"Ah have tah agree with ya Twi." Applejack said while watching the other Earth Ponies raid one of the markets. Pinkie Pie was still bouncing up in excitment wondering what the fuss was all about. "Ooo are they having a party!?!" Pinkie exlaimed as she dashed towards the Earth Pony mob. "Pinkie Pie git back here!" Applejack said following her. Fluttershy was shivering behind Twilight afraid somthing terrible was about to happen.

 

Pinkie Pie then found herself muzzle to muzzle with the Earth Pony named Jacob taking some of the shopkeeper's food. "Hi!" Pinkie Said. "Whatcha doin?" she asked. "Getting ready for a party?!?" she predicted. "HUH HUH HUH?!?" Pinkie Blabbed on. "Yeah what are ya rascals doin.....stealing that pegsasus's food?" Applejack said having caught up to Pinkie Pie. "It's rightfully his and ya have no right tah steal it." She added

''He got what he deserved. Ripped us off.. 5 bits a carrot.'' Daft said while looking at Applejack. ''You two are earth ponies too? I'm surprised you mares haven't joined the protest yet.'' Daft said while looking at Pinkie and Applejack. ''Never mind.. I must be on my way. Stay safe, and if you want to live I consist you have a picnic somewhere else.'' Daft said while catching up to Jacob.

"Look miss. You ain't gunna make it through that crowd. Want me to help?" Steel stretched his wings and fixed his hat, eyeing up the crowd of indignant earth ponies. "I can clear a path, or you can stay back on my farm for a bit." Steel sneezed. The cold winter was getting to him a bit.

Jacob looked back at AppleJack and Pinky Pie "Yes, i guess you could say that im getting ready for a party. But this isn't just any regular party, this party is only for earth ponies. You can be a part of this, if you want. Join the protest. You don't have to decide right now, think about it, in time the unicorn and pegasi will treat you like garbage, and when that happen i'll accept you with open arms." Jacob walked away with Daft. "I think were done for the day, we've made are point here. There are preperations i need to look into. Well meet again at the sign up stand tommorow." Jacob smiled as he found out that Twilight was going to a picnic.

 

Twilight tried to comfort Fluttershy."It's ok Fluttershy, look the protesters are dispanding. Now we should probably start the picnic soon."

 

Jacob though to himself (Twilight is suppose to have the biggest library in all of Ponyville) Jacob was making his way towards Twilight's house. Jacob was about to break into her home. He opened one of the windows and made it inside. Jacob began looking though all of Twilight's books. Jacob heard a noise and stopped moving. When he looked around, he saw Spike asleep in his bed, snoring. Jacob keep quiet and looked for a specific book. After a few minutes he found it and left her house. "With this i can found out the location of the artifact." Jacob opened the book and saw that it was encoded. "This might take a while." Jacob began to uncode the secrets of inside the book.
