S01:E17 - Stare Master

The first time we see “The Stare”!

At this point of the show, every episode we’ve seen with Sweetie Belle is when she’s with Rarity, and she is consistently getting herself into trouble; we haven’t seen this so much from Applebloom and Scootaloo. Sweetie Belle is just that much of a klutz. 

My main take from this is that Fluttershy would be a great babysitter if it was for other fillies, or even just one of the three separately. This is because when you add Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Applebloom together, you get three hyperactive, impulsive, and determined fillies running about causing chaos. Even the best babysitter wouldn’t make it out unscathed with those three! 

I enjoyed the dialogue she had where she was talking about how much fun they’ll have, braiding each others manes and reading stories. Sorry you didn’t get the adorable sleepover you wanted, Fluttershy! QAQ She has a lovely maternal instinct which you mainly see come out in her care for animals, so it’s great to see it with fillies for once.
