I don't go on EQ, but I'm pretty sure if it becomes popular somewhere they'll get it. Either that or go on the website and post it there, or send it to someone.

Now to answer your question, you don't actually have to be found by EqD. In fact, you submit your story to them. (I would know, I went through the process myself.)

However I would still recommend going to FiMFiction and putting your fanfic there as well. It's a very good community with an excellent layout which I used to use until I started writing my own novels. You should check it out!

To get your work on EqD it requires to be very well written. They have a bunch of requirements which you can read about here. If you think your fic has the qualities required, you can submit it here.

But note, if you send in your work and it doesn't get accepted, it's not always you will recieve a message back from them. Infact, it's a bigger chance that you won't than that you will. But I wish you good luck and I'm sure your fic is good.

 

Anyways, I'm sure you will make some new friends here and I really hope you will enjoy your stay here with us.
