Lets Talk Pumpkins

I want to make 2 pumpkins for Halloween, a scary one and a silly one and I was hoping some of you guys could give me some ideas. So, what kinds of scary/silly ideas do you guys have for pumpkins this year? Or what cool designs have you created in the past?

 

This year for my silly pumpkin, I was thinking something along the lines of the Simba and Nala images for the avatars/sigs I was using:

 

 

 

Or maybe one of Gir or Rainbow Dash

 

 

 

I really can't think of any scary ones I could do though. Whatever I come up with though, If I go through with any of these, I'll try to upload it to the art forum so you guys can see.

Could always make an mlp pumpkin. I've see pics of the mane6 in Celestia's picture (the she looks at in the show's intro) carved into the side. The oracle google should find it.

one year I took a pumpkin and where it's mouth was I put a bunch of the seeds and all that crap you take out of it to make it look like it was throwing up =D

I got my bow out and shot a flaming arrow into my pumpkin. It was epic till the flames made the shaft drop off and start a small plant fire...

I believe every pumpkin should be free to choose what it wants to be, and rather not impose my beliefs on it on how it should look or why.

 

 

If that looks like a really lame jack-o-lantern, replace "pumpkin" with "paradigm" and "not carving it" with "Relativism".

For the silly one, I would suggest a knife sticking out the middle of the face, with the eyes looking at it, and the insides of the pumpkin leaking out of knife. Then for scary, I would do something like this.

I am tempted to... I really kinda wanna do simba but I wanna try another silly one as well so I may end up buying another pumpkin. The place I got my first two at sells them pretty cheap. But I'm not entirely sure which one I should put on the pumpkin, I know I said Rainbow Dash in the first one partly because it's a funny picture but Applejack would probably be better since she's orange lol

That first one sounds pretty cool but it sounds more scary than silly lol. The second one looked more like a traditional pumpkin, which I also kinda wanted to make at least one of but I really wanted to be a bit more creative and technical and see what I could do this year

That's true I guess... Maybe I'll take your guys's suggestions and suggest them to the pumpkins first, and if they say it's a good idea and they like it then that's what we'll do. This is all about helping them to be the best pumpkins they can be!!
