  1. From what I understand they chose to end it the same year FIM ended. May have been for contractual or staffing reasons. Also Lauren Faust's husband said that Lauren's heart was never really in it. I also seem to remember reading that the toy sales for EG wasn't very good.
  2. Well hello again everyone

Likewise, though also keeping busy pursuing my music endeavours while also working in the Drywalling sector (specifically, Drywall Finishing) of construction.

I am a firefighter so I'm often tearing away drywall to look for fire, thereby creating more demand for your services. The circle of life continues.

Likewise, though I've figured out my life-long purpose (which I do share with the forums here via my "Jonny Music's Blog" Blog).

I've convicted myself to create the World's Largest Pipe Organ Arrangements Library. Over 160 of them made and counting. This will be a life-long mission that I am more than happy to continue committing towards.

  7. That is literally my favorite thing I've ever posted on this site, I still see it in peoples signatures now and then.
  8. Happy Valentines Day everyone =)

  9. Hiya Zach I knew a few people who watched the show and I thought it sounded pretty weird, but they were fairly normal people so I gave the show a shot. I ended up really liking it. So why do I like it? I'm not entirely sure myself, it's nice, it's friendly, it's a nice escape. It's also a nice change of pace, TV shows are quite dominated by violence and sex, don't get me wrong I watch quite a few of those shows, but this is a show where I don't have to worry about my favorite character being killed off, I know I won't see anything graphic. It's just good to watch something nice once in a while.
  10. I like that bronies point out continuity errors in a show made for 5 year olds.

Of course not, it's a great show, but I find it a bit silly when we hold a candle to every mistake a childrens show makes.

People seem to forget that there's a difference between legit criticism and whining/getting offended at irrelevant bullshit

  13. We should not confuse necessary evils with good.

  14. I can see your point, and it's true what you say to some extent especially in regards to things like Greek Mythos but I must disagree. You see I am a Christian, many members of my faith have tried to read the Bible as a science textbook. It isn't. It was never intended to be. For instance claim that the Earth is 6,000 years old comes from an error made on the part of some of the earliest Bible scholars that had a very weak grasp of cosmology at the time. The Bible never claims the Earth is 6,000 years old, and any proper Hebrew scholar will tell you that the Bible doesn't even seem to discuss the age of the Earth. My religion does not seek to explain the observable universe as science does but rather it tries to explain the transcendent nature of existence. In fact I believe that the Bible actually encourages science, and many of the greatest scientific minds were greatly influenced by it. Following off from this point I don't think science and religion are at odds with each other, but I suppose this isn't really the time for that discussion. Put more simply science explains the "How?" while religion attempts to explain the "Why?" You see I also love science, and I'm glad you do too, if you'd ever like to talk about science and religion or how I rationalize both of them, please feel free to PM me, I really love discussing it.

  18. I've always loved Frasier. It's characters are fantastic, the jokes are smart and it could do sad/dramatic scenes incredibly well.
