Ironhoof 16 October 22, 2012 Share October 22, 2012 My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: ApplejackHow did you find MLP Forums?: I read other artists on DA (Deviant Art) mentioning forums, and other MLP-related sites... Some good, some not. But, after a while, I found a place that looked better and friendlier than the others... So I registered here. :-) How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I saw many examples of fan related art, PMV's on YouTube, and noticed the quality of every aspect of the first season, watched as many episodes as I could, and least to say, I was hooked. FIM was nothing like the previous generations. Let's just say I truly became a Brony... more than I was prior to S1. I've worked hard all my life, and was able to accomplish one major goal... I retired before I turned 45. Eeyup... I'm an older Brony, but age is one thing, attitude in life is yet another. I may be in my late 40's, but I still feel, and am as physically fit as I was at 21. Life is what you make of it, and I want to live it as best as I can, for as long as I can. On a side note, one question that could be asked is "What character do you feel the most like and why?" A: For me, that would be Macintosh. Like him, I've always been a big guy, both being physically fit, and large in stature. I ran my own Security Company with my partner, who later decided to buy me out, and since I was getting burned out with all the paperwork involved, I took him up on it and split. ;-) Woahh that's a really nice character you made. I feel that it's just a oddball twist of fate really. One of the coolest things to ever come along in fandom, and I feel like the third wheel in it. I do hope that others don't see me as some sort of creepy freak, being as old as I am, and loving the entire MLP:FIM experience. Kind of makes me feel at times like this, that I was born too early. Anyway, I have a lot of respect for a guy who ran a security company, retired before 45, and has blacksmithing for a hobby. I've always wanted to try something like that, ever since I found out one of my dad's friends was a blacksmith who made weapons and armor for his Medieval Reenactment group (which I dabbled in myself, but never had enough money to do seriously). I'm only a days drive. I'm about 40miles north of Marephis TN.. Finest and Scoots are both Texan...
