Suddenly the electricity was back on. Eris smiled at Star Keeper, "not bad kid." Eris could hear the blasting music from down the hall turn back on. Eris directed Star Keeper back to the party. Vinyl Blade was waiting patiently for Eris' return. "Miss me?" Eris used his magic to levitate Vinyl Blade over to him. Eris gave her a light kiss and playfully licked his lips, "you feeling alright?"

 

"Thank Celestia. I hate having to teach virgins how to work a woman." Cherished smirked deviously. [Due to the nature of the following scene, we here at MLPforums have censored all the juicy details. We can however tell you it was good, very good. It blew Paros' mind. He'd be telling his grandfoals about this night, lucky bastard.] Cherished moaned in satisfaction as he rolled off Paros. She starred up at ceiling wishing she had a cigarette to take a drag off of.

 

Lovely smiled, "wow. Thank you. I knew your wings were amazing the second I saw them." Lovely wrapped her arms around Nightfall and gave him a small peck on the cheek. "I feel like you rescued me." Lovely giggled cutely as her cheeks reddened. Nightfall couldn't help notice the quick glare Eris shot him from across the room.

 

Nightfall blushed.

"I-i-it was nothing. Honestly."

He felt a little uncomfortable, considering how protective Eris was of his little sister. He didn't want to cause trouble with Eris.

"I, um... Maybe I guess I did... I don't think that the smoke was too dangerous, though..."

He flushed even more, cursing himself for being awkward in this situation.

Regaining her sight from the sudden flash, Rockshire looked around, realizing that he STILL wasn't here.

 

"Great... I guess the only way that I can find him is to search for him... I can check his room, maybe the hall... Gosh, I hope he doesn't think I'm a douche or anything for just going on my own like that... Maybe he was still in the room when the lights went out. Either way, I gotta find him."

 

She heads out of the room yet again, off on her search for Star. First, she would stop by her room.

Star Keeper put to use his self proclaimed ninja skills, creeping from the party all stealthy like. The time for dramatics was now over. He picked himself up and moved frantically down the halls. She would most probably be back in her dorm. Check there first before anything. He darted around a corner and came to the dorm in question. There was no sound of anypony approaching and he could not see any lights on inside the room.

 

Star Keeper raced up in front of the door. Maybe she was in bed and had turned out the lights, or blown bulb, or, um, or... No harm in trying I guess. He raised his hoof up and knocked on the door softly, calling in to see if anypony was there. Great, nothing. He head butted the door, sending his head into slightly more pain. Star Keeper turned and slumped himself against the door, defeated. Where to look now? He barley knew this place or where she would go. Nothing left to do now. Either she wasn't home or she didn't want to speak to him after how ignorant and rude he was. He desperately hoped for the first...

Rockshire makes it back up to her dorm hall, heading back to her room before setting out to find Star. Along the way up there, she heard a banging and ran up to the hall where it happened: hers.

 

Coming up the stairs, she sees a pony slumped over on the floor, and she runs over to him.

 

"Hey, are you OK? I heard a banging on the.... Star Keeper?!"

'Well, I could sit here for some time more, wallow in self pity and the- wait, Rockshire? It is definatley her by the sound of it.'

 

Star Keeper looked up to see the elegant mare come around the corner. He wasn't to sure what to do next. The two more popular options seemed to revolve around running or hiding in fear. Quite honestly he didn't think he deserved to have anypony. Contempt with remaining alone, Rockshire had drawn him so far out of his comfort zone he didn't know what decisions to make. As per usual, he fell back on his default mode; Panic. In this case, panic was simply sitting there looking dumbstruck at the mare.

 

'Well, you certainly have got no chance.'

 

'Thanks brain. Your the best.'

Draco noticed a firework not working"Hmmm?"Draco's eyes widen"YIKES"Draco began to ran away from the rocket that was chasing him"OH COME ON"Draco yelled out as he ran away from that rougue rocket. It seems his friends got a heat seeking firework."IDIOTS"Draco said as he ran past Rockshire and Star Keeper.

Rockshire could see his eyes moving around, but he wasn't saying anything back. She shook him a little to see if he was still responding or not.

 

"Star! Star, can you hear me? Can you speak back? Hello?" She looked down to him. She didn't want to deal with a dead pony...

 

However, she jumped back when some pony ran past her, running for his life. "IDIOTS!", he seemed to call out.

 

"What was all that... GAH!" She jumped out of the way, as a firework shot right past her, heading for that running pony.

As a seemingly terrified Draco came galloping down the hall, he was followed by what it seemed was a firework that refused to back down. They disappeared around a corner, a loud shriek coming soon after. Star Keeper didn't shift, but looked back up to Rockshire.

 

"How drunk am I exactly?"

"That was weird... But, you're not really drunk, just a little... I would say about 0.3.", Rockshire concluded. "You just haven't ever had a drink before, that's why." Giggling a bit, she looked more into his eyes. That feeling was coming back again.

 

"Are you OK? You just barged into my room head first..."

Draco came running back into the party quickly then jumpped over afew mares still running for his life"You might want to SCATTER"Draco said as he saw the firework coming again"OH COME ON"Draco yelled out as he began to fly quickly heading past eris.

"Well, that may be so, but I suffered more damage than the door. I'll live."

 

Star Keeper smiled back at Rockshire, picking himself up off the ground. He seemed very awkward abut the situation, something nagging on his mind.

 

"Heh, I just wanted to apologies, Shire. I shouldn't have left without saying goodbye." Star Keeper looked at the ground, scrapping the carpet under his hooves. "On the upside, I got the lights back on, and I'm on better terms with Eris."

 

'You should stick to your day job. Being romantic isn't your thing.'

 

'Once again, thanks for the emotional support.'

"Well, I wasn't really happy when you left. But, since you said that you turned the power back on... I'll believe you. But, you seriously look like you're hurt a bit... I think you need to lay down or something. Come on, let's head inside my room.", Rockshire asked Star Keeper. "Plus, I don't want you to get hurt while you're impaired.", adding a giggle to that last sentence.

'That went better than expected. Then again, you wouldn't have blamed her for giving you a smack across the face. Well, i'd be only polite to accede her offer. That, and curiosity is once again getting the better of me. Damn my compulsive inquisitive nature.'

 

Star Keeper stood back and let Rockshire unlock the door. It swung open and the pair walked in, Star Keeper wasn't exactly to sure what to do next. No, don't panic. Not this time. He stood in the middle of the room, watching as Rockshire moved around try the room.

 

'What the hell do I do now exactly?'

 

'I don't know. Improvise.'

 

'You're never helpful, you know that?'

Draco ran back to the two"AW CRIPES GET AWAY FROM ME YOU STUP..........."Draco looked as the rocket didn't explode but the top came off and said bang. Draco's eye twitched as he looked at the rocket. he was eerily calm about it but in reality he was pissed off beyond belief.

Rockshire went all around the room, seeing as though her roommate still wasn't here. *Ah well, if this goes well, then she WOULDN'T want to be in here...*, she thought with a bit of a sly grin. She turned back over to Star Keeper, who was still awkwardly standing in the middle of the room.

 

"You know, you don't have to stand in the middle of the room, silly.", she poked fun at. "You can sit on my bed, if you like to."

Star Keeper shuffled across to the bed and sat upright on it. He was soon joined next to him by Rockshire, still with the same grin on her face. He managed to suppress a gulp, but couldn't help but listen to the thoughts as they entered his mind.

 

'It's right there. Go for it. Come on man, you need to be more forward. You can't just sit here and pretend that nothing will happen. You know that you want something to happen so do it.'

 

'You've forgotten one key point; I don't even know what to do. I mean she is cute and I like her, but I wouldn't know one step from the next.'

Sugar Rush looked up from her bed as soon as Rockshire entered "You're back? Ey, sorry 'bout leaving ya'h in the cafe" she said smiling nervously, she took a glance at the other colt "so who's this guy?" she asked as she jumped out of her bed.

But for now he had to calm down and think about how to get his friends back.

Rockshire suddenly jumped after seeing her roommate come out of nowhere. "Oh, uh, Sugar Rush! I didn't see you there. This is Star Keeper, he's my new friend. He sort of got drunk, and tried to bust the door down. Didn't you hear it earlier?"

Draco kicked the fire work but didn't notice a mare walking around the corner and the firework headed her way"Oh no now what"Draco said as he looked backwards at the mare"you might want to duck now miss pretty mare"Draco said complimenting the mare.

"Should I just go now? I mean if that's okay. I'm not just leaving you alone again."

 

Star Keeper hopped up of the bed and edge his way towards the door awkwardly. He didn't feel good about panicking and fleeing, but that's the only thing that seemed to work. He was useless at defusing situations like this. Why? Because he has never been in a situation like this.

 

"Sorry for ruining your evening."

"No, no! You're... Um... Actually, why don't we head to a place where we could be alone?", Rockshire suggested. She wasn't about to let her first romantic moment be ruined by a simple fluke. "So, how about it, Star? Let's head out.", She asked, while giving him a wink, to signal.

Draco noticed the door opening"Huh already sheesh you must be a quick draw Star Keeper"Draco said jokingly.Draco walked away quickly so that he can beat the living crap out of his best friends for that mean prank they pulled on him. He knew he was going to get a shiner for his trouble.

"Sure, that sounds like a great idea, although I am struggling to figure out a good place to go. Before we do decide, may I ask, who's your room mate? I don't believe we have met before."

 

Star Keeper was a bit more perked up now, seeing that the moment hadn't exactly fleeted and he had another shot at not mucking things up a second, no wait, third time.

 

Then came unexplained appearance of Draco, looking a bit pissed off. It was quite strange. "And before you ask, no he is not a friend."
