Dear old friends,

it seems time has gotten hold of us, six years, seems like only yesterday. I'm writing to mostly say I'm sorry, for all I did back in college, I was a dick. I left college one night and went into rehab, I've been drug free ever since, and a lot less on the alcohol than I was. you may have heard, I'm now engaged to Cherished, took a while to tame her, but she soon came around. I'm now in a steady job, I'm now a secretary at Whinnychester Firearms. Obsidian, I want to tell you how completely sorry I am for the things I said to you and the way I acted, both to you and Whirlwind. Vinyl, I hope you've been getting that foal support I've been sending, you'd make a great mother, a better parent than I could ever be. Nightfall, I hear you fully healed up well, glad to hear you can fly again. Rockshire and Star, I hear you're being a nice family now, always great to hear. Dogboots, I heard you got the coppers off your back when I was in rehab, at least you arent on the run for the rest of your life. all of you, we should meet up sometime, have lunch or something, i heard a college reunion is coming soon, that'd be a great time to meet up again.

Dear Star Keeper,

 

Well, I know that we didn't have a close friendship, if you can say that we had one at all. But I heard that you and Rockshire have gotten married, and I congratulate you!

You may have heard that I am fully healed. Well, it took nearly nine months, so that when I got out, Obsidian was going into labor. I've stayed here for her, trying to help her keep a little low and taking care of the foal when Whirlwind gets tired. He's really funny about that, and Obsidian teases him a little sometimes. Vinyl is also doing well, and she's here too. All four of us are pretty much living in the same house, but not much is "going on" between me and the mares. Obsidian and Whirlwind do look like they have a connection again, and Vinyl still has her connection with Obsidian. Sometimes I feel a little out of the loop, but... but that doesn't matter. What does matter is that Obsidian, Vinyl, and even Whirlwind are all safe here.

I like to think that soon you will be writing a reply, although it's not necessary.

Dear Obsidian...

 

It's great to hear from you again. It has been a long time, hasn't it? Sort of makes me want to feel like I want it to be yesterday...

 

I've heard about your foal from before. I feel you tenfold. It was hard having to raise a foal after completing college. It was even worse when we had to leave Canterlot and live in Ponyville. In my opinion, it's a lot more quiet than Canterlot. And well... It actually feels better than living in the city.

 

I also heard that Nightfall has been better. I'm glad to hear that he's fully healed. Oh yeah, say hi to Vinyl for me as well!

 

Oops! I better get going! I promised Comet that I would help her with an art project... I hope that we can catch up soon. See ya!
