Star Keeper was about to answer the door when he noticed a portal open up behind him. Out of it tumbled a dazed and confused trio of ponies. 'At least this means I'm not crazy. Wait...'

 

"What, so that all actually did happen? I'm not just crazy and you are here? Last I remember I had to figure out how to open a door and you guy were herded in a certain direction. I thought I'd lost you all. But here we are, all well again. I am curious as to what has happened to you though, you all look in a sorry state."

 

"oh not much, exapt after you left we nealy got knocked out again then we fell into green portals, and then I got ranned over by a gaint snowball AND then I ended up here." Ace got up still dazed by the ride 'yay home no changlings or near death experiances'

Bluenote wrinkled her snout. She's been sniffing (Don't ask XD) around and noticed a horrible scent lingering. "Smells like changeling." , she said, with an annoyed tone. "Somebody open the door. I don't think this is Ponyville.". Bluenote tried to get up, but sat back down. Seemed there was a strained muscule in her left back leg.

"Somebody open the door. I don't think this is Ponyville."

"Has to be. There was a knocking at the door a second ago-" The knocking appeared again. This time louder and a bit more urgent.

 

"Guys. I have to answer it. There's only one way we can find out what is actually going on, despite the risks." Star Keeper glared back at Bluenote "And please check to see if that smell isn't just you..."

Draco looked at Star"Oh go suck a sea cucumber Inquisitor because I've had a trying day"Draco then looked at Bluenote"Okay if this isn't Ponyville then somepony or something is getting my blade up their hindquarters then well I'm not a nice pony"Draco said dangerously.

Yavolin stood at the door panting he had a rough day from trying to find out what is happing in ponyville , he stood at twilight's door waiting for answer he called out to her."TWILIGHT YOU HOME? I NEED TO TALK TO YOU FOR A SECOND". Yavoiln was really worried about something.

Ace opaned the door to see..."YAVOILN?! what are you doing here? I thought the changlings got eveyone....wait you are Yavoiln arn't you?" Ace started poking Yavoiln making sure he was a pony he didn't want any more surprises to add to this day he would like to forget.

The swung open the door in a hurry. Through the doorway came tumbling in a rather scared Yavolin. Star Keeper jumped out of the way as she fell onto the ground. This was still getting stranger.

 

"Yavolin! You're back! Listen, things aren't as they seem. Get up and inside before something unexpected happens again." He turned back to Draco. "And you sir better watch your tongue, or you will be on the receiving end of my teeth!"

"Hmph. The girl may not be as useless as I thought she was. Too bad she is with those...hostages.", Chrysalis said. She pushed a button on the control panel, and the visual turned into a top down map of Ponyville...at least, what they thought was Ponyville.

 

"We have them where they are wanted Miss!", said a changeling.

 

"Is the spell already up?"

 

"Yes, and it won't come down for a while."

Le suddenly, the door suddenly slams shut, as if something were blowing on it.

Draco rolled his eyes"Uh huh sure I'll keep my mouth shut when I face the Queen of the changelings and offer myself as food for her"Draco said sarcastically as he paced he gritted his teeth in annoyance. "circles we went in a complete and utter circle"Draco said to himself as he saw the door shut"Okay now I'm mad"He drew his swashbuckler slowly.

"Hmmm maybe it's divide and conquer dvide the heroes from the ones with athe ones with the dark souls that can be tempted with offers of safety or offers of passage.or a trade"Draco said as he listed off things that could be their objectives for this group of dysfunctional ponies.

"Chrysalis doesn't want you here, first off. Back on her old ideas, trying to get love from Equestria, blah blah. 2, I have no idea. Maybe just to confuse us more? Third, he must've been moved here when he wasn't paying attention; no offense Yavolin. And 4th, she probably wants to see if we can actually be a threat to her plans. Of course, she would've ruled us as a no-threat because of you and Draco over here. But you made up for it, I guess."

Ace smakced the back of Yavolin's head "stop! all of you! this is probly what Chrysailis wants for us to kill each other even though were basiclly the last hope for equestria!" Ace was even surprised by the anger he felt but he had no choice they had to think of something or else Chrysailis may actully win this time.

Purplepower saw a pony, rolling down the hill in a snow ball. The pony knocked into her and sent her and the others rolling too. The others kept rolling in a relatively straight path, Purplepower hit a rock and sent her careening into a tree. She shook off the snow. "Ow." She looked down the hill where the others rolled. "Weird. I don't see them." She got up, and then immediately and had to trip over a rock, and apparently into a portal. She ended up in some sort of library. "Ugh where am I now?!" She looked around and saw the others. Terrific.

"No, it's more than that." Star Keeper turned to face Draco, concern growing on his face.

 

"It's a test simulation... Everything we have have gone through and everything we over came was a mere test." He glanced up to the corner of the Library, spotting a small black camera directly focused on him. "And they're observing how well we preform."

 

"Think of it, they've been singling us out and testing our problem solving abilities, our skills. We're like rats in a maze."

Yavolin snaps back to his normal self."What in equestria just happened"? Yavolin didn't remember what just happen to him., he began to sit down to remember what happen to but it was a no brainier to him. he looked at star keeper for answers to what has been happening around Equestria.

Ace was quickly pulled to earth when his tail was grabbed by Star Keeper. "Catch; none of us love each other? You can't be serious? There is a slight flaw in that idea of yours. But there is one thing you are right about... she is scared."

 

This at least gave him a bit of confidence. She couldn't risk them getting free.

Suddenly a portal opens from above. However, it doesn't look like it was meant to be entered.

 

5 Changelings appear from the portal, one each representing Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, but, uh, where is Twi's counter?

 

It comes out but it doesn't get to react, Bluenote has already tackled it.

 

The rest are going for the others in the room.

 

(Damnit, I gotta go to bed. See ya tommorow at 5, I guess.)

Yavolin looked up and saw changelings."WHAT In Equestira"! Yavolin slipped once again in madness, he let out an insane laughter as he looked at the changelings, hoping to give them the chills. Yavolin prepared himself for a fight or at less he hoped for a fight.

"Oh my sweet Celestia, how did I not think of that." He quickly turned back to the others, a sudden hint of urgency breaking through.

 

"Rainbow Dash is missing, yes? Why? Simple, she was an element of harmony. At this point I have reason to believe that all of them have been at least captured. She's tying up lose ends, making sure that every possibility of failure is snuffed out." Star Keeper turned back to Draco.

 

"Then who have we been talking to the past few days?"

 

Everything began to dawn on him at once, every single detail became clear as he realized what this was all about.

 

"That's it! They're Changelings, yes? What do they do? Change! It's so simple!" He took a quick breath. "Think about it, we have been tested for our mindset, our reactions, our personality. Everything has been examined. Why?... We're being impersonated. The same for the Rainbow Dash and the others as you can see, they were all Changelings. All of them. So now here's the question, why us? Once again, simple. Each of us is in someway or another connected somehow. I don't know yet what it is, but it's the only explanation I can think of. Now before we discuss this some more, I suggest we either fight or flight. I choose flight."
