writing The Only Thing I Need

Okay so I needed to find a piece of media for my theology presentation so I wanted to be cool n' stuff so I wrote this thing about how being greedy is a no-no (I put on a good show, because I think everything about that religion is bull ) It's a dude who dies and gets no rest or something I dunno

 

 

 

What my mind desires is to be free,

What my heart desires is to be ignited,

But what my hand demands does not fulfil this void I have,

For I shall not find refuge in endless coin, nor unworthy praise,

As I long for eternal rest, I face the shackles of my possessions,

But the rest I seek is not present to me, and I shall continue to thirst for repose,

For I have let my hand take forth my existence on this plain from where I came,

I must endure the binds I've foolishly place upon myself,

And for that, I must pay for what I have taken so ruthlessly

 

I don't think it's that good but I'd like to see the reactions, otherwise I wouldn't be posting it, now, would I?
