planning Categorizing help or an OC?

Simple question: I'm making a character, but I don't know whether to categorize him as a pegasus or a non-pony. His parents were a pegasus and a donkey, so technically, he's a mule with wings. He can't get a cutie mark (genetics,) but he can fly and walk on clouds.

Hm...that's a tough one.

 

I'd say pegasus, because his parent was one, and in "other" I'd say he's a non-pony.
