Hunter stood on the second storey of her penthouse, she watched all the ponies gather downstairs and start dancing and socializing. She knew that this party was going to be fantastic.

the music was loud enough to be heard through the whole penthouse

the main room was dimly lit and laser lights shone across the room, ponies were enjoying a dip in the pool. Hunter was wearing her red, sequinned party dress as she gazed over her guests

Shade was... As usual, in the dark corner of the penthouse.

 

She didn't know Anypony at the party.. She was alone, as always...

 

But she was digging the beat of the music... That's probably the only fun that she will have all night...

 

<why do I bother comeing to parties if I just sit in a corner... Sigh* guess that's the way I an... I should just get out there and talk>

 

So she walked out from the corner and went to the dance floor...

Hunter saw a lone mare creep out of the shadows, she decided to help her loosen up a bit. she approached the mare with a smile on her face

"trouble adjusting to the crowd? Don't worry sweetie, theres a punchbowl over in the corner, have a drink and loosen up"

she placed a wing over her and led her to the punchbowl

"I'm sure you know who I am, but what do ponies call you?"

Lucky Clover only just arrived. The party had already started and she was late. She walked in to see ponies dancing to the beat. She used a bit of her unicorn magic to spread good luck. "Hey everypony! I texted the famous vinyl scratch and she agreed to come and play her music at this party! How lucky is that?" shouted a pegasis in the crowed. Lucky Clover giggled to herself. Time to spread some more good luck.

Faceless looked around the penthouse, scouting for any familiar faces. Unfortunatly, none presented themselves to him. He smiled and shook his head. He was not suprised that he knew no one. Nevertheless, he was excited by the prospect of meeting other ponies.

 

Faceless suddenly noticed the presence of a green unicoren who had just entered. He grinned as the unicorn cast a spell over the crowd. Flyer easily deducted from her cutie mark and the way Vinyl agreed to come and play her speciality.

 

Flyer flew over to her to greet her and start some conversation.

Featherheart quietly steps in. He looks around a little -hopping to find some food- "I hope they have cake" he said as he walks to the nearby table with a punch bowl on it.

 

It's empty so he walks to a window and stares out of it, flapping his wings a little. "Wow that's a nice view" He whispers to himself pressing his face against the cold glass.

"im shade... shade bluewind... and yes, your like the host of this party..."

 

shade picks up a glass and drinks some punch...

 

"i work at cloudsdale's storm department, i handle most of the heavy thunderclouds and powerful lightning and all that stuff.."

Lucky Clover became aware of somepony's presence. She turned to face a winged pony with a friendly smile across his face. "Hi." she said. There was a bit of awkward silence. "Um, am I blocking your way or something?" She desperately wanted to get to know him.

I start to realize that I am standing awkwardly in front of her. I shake my head and continue.

 

"Sorry, my mind went on a tangent." I stretch out a hoof. "Faceless Flyer, but call me Faceless. I was wondering..." I rack my brain for a reason to talk to the green unicorn. I glance over my shoulder at the bar.

 

"A drink!" I say, a bit too loudly as some ponies around look at me oddly. I clear my throat. "Would you like a drink?"

 

Woah, I think to myself, Nice way to meet a girl, Faceless. Just embarass yourself in front of a group of ponies...

A drink? For me? What do I say? "I would love to drink with you! I mean, I'm thirsty, that's all. Yeah.....thirsty". Lucky Clover's cheeks turned bright red. She was nervous and she didn't know why. She wasn't nervous around other ponies.Faceless Flyer, what a great name! " I like your name!" she randomly burst out. "Uh... I mean I like your mane. Like, the colour....I guess." She used a bit of her special unicorn magic. Faceless instantly spotted a 10 dollar note on the floor.

Hunter looked over her shoulder to see a stallion putting his face up to a window.

"well, Shade, enjoy yourself. loosen up, socialize, who knows? you might get lucky"

she gave her a wink and then trotted off to tend to the stallion

"you know, theres more fun in here than out there"

judging by the stallions reaction she must've startled him

"I'm amazed that you're not chatting up a mare right now"

Shade drank her punch and looked around... She wanted to socialize but she was always shy to just go up to a pony and talk...

So she just stayed by the punch bowl and drank when she felt like it...

 

Then she thought... <maybe some stallion will come up to me if I just show off some beauty, but I'm no rarity...she could just wave her mane and ponys would crowed around her... All I have is black thunderclouds...>

 

Shade flaped her wings and small bits of cloud formed on her wings... She waved her head shaking her mane...

Then she just sighed and stood at the punch bowl.

Featherheatr jumped at the sound of Hunters voice. He looked around, catching sight of a small bright blue pony.

"oh... um hi." he looks at her with a smile. "I was just looking at the view, its wonderful"he looked back out the window wit a large grin plastered across his face.

 

Suddenly he jumps back.

"oh, I'm sorry but I think I'll be over there at the back of the room... where there's less ponies" he whispers, as he looked back at his flank. He then galloped across the room bumping into everypony in his path.

"he sure was a strange colt"

Hunter said to herself before she was surrounded by a group of stallions with one thing on their mind

"well, cant hide my sexiness forever"

Hunter smiled as she led the group towards the dancefloor and started to dance

"I need me a proper stallion, not like these colts"

I saw the ten dollar note on the floor and smiled. "Hmm, my lucky day!" I take the note off the floor and look at the green mare.

 

"As I recall, I never got a name." I start to walk to the bar, hoping that she will follow. This pony is nice! I thought Maybe there was a reason to come here!

Shade sees hunter surrounded by colts...

 

<well she knows how to be attractive...>

 

Shade walks to the dance floor... But she was kind of woozy from drinking so much punch..

 

She reaches hunter and...

 

"Hey hunter... Could you give me some help with finding somepony?"

 

She flaped her wings and streams of electricity go through her mane and wings...

"sure thing, sweetie. you gotta loosen up, play it cool, play it sexy, just don't play it tarty. dance, have some fun and I'm sure by the time you leave here, you'll be surrounded by colts like I have"

Hunter was glad to help shade with her finding somepony tonight

Featherheart sits in the corner, covering his flank with his wings and his head down low. He let out a deep sigh and looked around at the other ponies dancing.

 

Thinking back to when he was just a unicorn, he tried to remember his cutie mark but it was no use. The sad stallion sobbed quietly to himself.

Shade listened to hunters advice...

 

"Well I guess I could try that..."

 

She backs away from hunter... Then she flaped her wings wich made her mane blow in the wing from her wings, she shakes her head while electricity waves out of her mane...she then walks back to hunter...

 

"Was that good? Iv never really done sexy before..."

"haha girl, If I wasnt straight, I'd do you"

she gave shade a wink

"looks like I have some competition boys haha, have fun shade"

 

 

hunter looked over to the stallion before, sitting in a corner. she shooed off the colts around her and approached him, she sat beside him with a wing over his shoulder

"sweetie, are you alright? please talk to me, cry if you need to, I want to know why you're so upset"

She followed Faceless to the bar and took a seat. She looked into his eyes. The seemed to sparkle with the lights of the disco ball hanging on the ceiling. As she gazed at him, she stopped hearing the music. To her, it was like the whole world had gone silent as she sat there ignoring everything else in the penthouse. She could stare into those eyes all night if she wanted to. But wait, she just realised that he had asked her a question and was waiting for an answer. Then she realised that she had been staring at him for quite some time now and he was beginning to wonder if she even heard the question. "Oh, my name is Lucky Clover." she said.

Featherheart looked up at the blue Pegasus, he cowers back into the corner.

"please, I don't want any trouble"

There's a large flash from his horn and he is gone. When he opened his eyes he was safely standing behind the DJ.

Quickly ducking out of view he sobs behind the DJ's hooves with his wings covering his face.

"Lucky Clover... nice name!" I study Clover's features as I sidle up next to the bar. The green eyes reminded me of emeralds, entracing and captivating. I shake my head and start to order the drinks.

 

"What would you like?" I ask as I look into those beautiful pools again.

Hunter hung her head low, she only wanted to help him and he vanishes without even giving her his name.

"I might as well look for him, he really needs to know that I dont want to cause any trouble, I just wanted to help"

she only walked a little bit and found his tail before anything, she approached

"please dont be frightened, I only want to help you"

she put on a motherly tone in her voice as she held him in her hooves

"Right." She said. Her horn shimmered as she held the menu in the air in front of her face with her magic. She searched the list of drinks.Too expensive....Too cheap.... Too bitter.... Too sweet......Too much alcohol....... Not enough alcohol......PERFECT!

"I'd like a glass of apple cider please." She decided.
