"Duct tape artist? Sounds cool! Anyway, hello there Purplepower!" Willow said, waving as she did. Willow had stopped for a moment, hearing someone speaking behind her. When he was finished, she turned to look behind her to find a light purple stallion with a chestnut brown mane that looked nearly black in the dark tunnel. "Hi there, Zhooves! Nice to meet you!" she said, still smiling. Gah Willow, stop being so formal! Shut up me! No way, you shut up! Willow was interrupted from arguing with herself in her head by a voice she'd heard before, very recently. Yes, she recognized it. It was the stallion with the black fur. Willow turned in the direction the voice came from and stared. "Where are you going?" she asked curiously.

"Yeah, what do you mean by 'part ways'?" Oh sheesh now I sound like I'm echoing or something. Stupid brain why you couldn't give me something original to say just once? Purplepower wasn't exactly fond of her brains way of handling conversations very much.

[Faceless 101]

"Well, it seems like Twilight has set the royal guards on me. She's like that, bless her. Anyway, I have a feeling that they may coming looking for me at the next tunnel. All of you have a choice."

 

He looked at everypony, but smiled.

 

"Hey, let's not see such grim looks, alright? You can try and stall the guards for me to somehow get off this train, or you can come with me and we'll walk to Canterlot. If you stay on the train, get to the station and find a griffin by the name of "Bait". He'll help. I would hurry, because..."

 

Faceless pointed a hoof out the window at the next tunnel coming closer.

[Zhooves 843]

He raised a hoof.

 

"Since I see better IN those tunnels than outside... Maybe I could do something?" he says quietly.

 

"Maybe somepony could come up with a plan exploiting that advantage..." he continued, as his left ear twitched, and his eyes stayed in dark-mode, with their really small pupils.

"Personally I kinda think it would be better to just stall the guards." Purplepower paused for a moment to think. "Hey maybe if we could keep the doors shut somehow and go out of a different carriage- No, that's a stupid idea." She looked out the window. Huh, that's weird. I met Twilight and she didn't seem like the kind of pony that would do that.

Willow raised her hoof, lowered it, then began to speak."I have one that involves Zhooves' 'night vision' ability." Willow said confidently. Operation plan on the spot is ago. Difficulty: Insane. "We... We'll sneak out the back! We're all pegasi, so we could all fly out of the open window I came in, Zhooves leading the way so we don't hit the walls! We could fly through the tunnel until we get to the side we came in, then fly over the guards and towards Canterlot!" Willow thought about what she said, and assuring herself that she said it right, she settled down and began to speak again. "So, who's up for it!" Nice job, idiot. Now you're gonna get everyone killed. Shut up me! Wanna do this again, smartmare? Yeah, I do! Bring it on, me! GRR!

[Faceless 101]

"I don't want to get anypony in trouble," Faceless said, noticing the rapid decrease of distance from the train to the tunnel. "No pony knows you are with me. You are safe in here. Are you sure you want to come with me?"

 

Faceless waited for a final answer.

[Zhooves 843]

He smiles slightly.

 

"I'm in if everyone else's okay with it..." he says calmly, as he hops off the cloud, and quickly forces it back into his special bag, before spreading his wings as much as the space allowed.

 

"As soon as you're ready..." he continues, as he look as the others.

"I'm in!" Yeah that sounds way better than my stupid brains idea. Purplepower grabbed her saddlebags and slipped them on. "Let's do this!" Congratulations, brain, you now sound like a total dork. She looked out the window again."Looks like we better get going soon, we're almost out of the tunnel."

[Limestone 8]

Cossid nodded in approval and felt eager to leave the train with the others. She gathered her items and Click while spreading her own wings to prepare herself to follow them. "I hope the guards won't chase after us...But if they do we can surely get there faster than them right?" she thought nervously.

Willow jumped out of her seat, stretched her wings, then prepared to follow them. "I'm all in, guys. Let's do this." Charge, for Sparta! Agh, stop it me, I need to focus. Willow grabbed her bag, filled with a few novels to read if she got bored, a quill and some ink, and some snacks. "I'm ready."

[Zhooves 843]

"Ok, if everypony are ready..." he says as he starts walking towards the back-door of the train. "Then we're off?" he continues, as he opens the door, letting in some of the outside noise from the wheels rolling on the tracks, echoing throughout the dark tunnel...

 

"Everything seems fine... No problem seeing most things in there..." he says as he inspects the dark tunnel from the back.

[Faceless 101]

"Good, well let's hurry. We need to get to the back of the train before it comes out of the tunnel." Faceless poked his head out the door and looked down the corridor. Even with the dismal light, he saw multiple figures converging at the front of the train. Faceless motioned everypony to be silent and ushered them to follow Zhooves.

[Zhooves 843]

"I see... Off we go then. Stay close to me, I'll fly a bit slow..." he said. He then swiftly attaches a small glowing band to his tail so the others could see him at least a tiny bit, as he takes off and flies down the tunnel, leading the way as the tunnel swings every now and then...

Well, here we go. Purplepower followed Zhooves and left the train car, trying not to lose sight of the dim light he had attached to his tail. Wow I never realized how hard it is to fly in the dark. She thought, making sure not to bump into the side of the tunnel.

Willow trailed a little behind Purplepower towards the back, then flew out of the back of the train and into the dark tunnel, trying to manuever away from the walls before she ended up getting herself killed. "So, what are we gonna do when we get out the other side?" she said through the wind against her face. She opened her mouth a little to wide when she tried to talk again, causing her to gag. Guh, I can't breath. I now hate flying against the wind. Shut up me, ya little wuss. YOU WANNA GO THERE? OH I WANNA GO THERE.

Honey followed Faceless towards the hall. On her way over she tripped on a peice of paper lying on the floor. "Huh?" She stooped down and picked it up. Flipping it in front of her face, she saw a logo of some kind. "Hey," She said, dropping the paper. "Do you guys know who drew this? It's good!" She looked around the car, searching for the artist.

 

Faceless was about to leave the carriage before turning to Honey who was still sat down. "You alright? We need to get to the back of the train now." Faceless said in a hushed whisper. He took his place behind Purplepower and flew down the straight corridor.

Cossid hesitantly jumped and flied into the dark tunnel as she followed the glowing band's light. "I hope everyone will make it okay" she thought hopefully while looking back at the train and saw the figures over at the front which made her more nervous. She bumped against the wall which bruised her wing a little and then began to try to focus on escaping.

Faceless started to follow Cossid through the train, noticing the ponies congealed at the top of the train were making there way down.

 

Let's just get to the back and the train and... Faceless paused in mid-thought. Do what? Oh well. Take it as it comes I suppose...

Purplepower glanced behind her to see if all the others were there. Thats weird. Where's that one named Honey? Oh don't be so flippin' nosy, brain! She kept flying, not wanting to lose track of Zhooves. Ugh, why am I always near the front? I hate having ponies following me. I'd much rather bring up the back so I don't have to worry about flying to slow or any of that. Oh shut up, brain, deal with it.

As soon as he had led them out of the tunnel, his mind went blank, as well as his eyes getting a bit blurry. He slowed down to let the others pass him so that he could follow to wherever they were supposed to fly to, as well as seeing where he was flying at all.

Once they flew out of the tunnel, Purplepower ended up passing Zhooves. Oh crap now I'm in front. She turned around. "So now that we're out of the tunnel, are we heading directly for Canterlot, or somewhere outside of Canterlot?" She asked, half talking to herself.

Faceless rustled his feathers as he met with the pegasi.

 

"I would of thought they would of had some sort of magically barr-" Faceless caught himself in mid-sentence.

 

"We've might of fallen into a trap..." Faceless looked around. Wait, where's Honey? "She didn't follow us?"

"Well that's wonderful. Just wonderful." Purplepower said sarcastically, despising the idea of being caught by the royal guards. Sheesh thanks a lot Twilight. Reeeaall helpful. She looked around. "What now? Should we make a break for it? She new it was probably a bad idea, but it was the only idea she had at the time.

"Maybe we should of been caught by the guards." Faceless pointed to the train that was speeding off into the distance. "The royal guards were meant to chase us off the train. It means that they will be on extremely high alert in Canterlot. I have no idea how we are meant to get in without Honey..."
