Why was Spike crossing his arms all the time during part 2 of the premier?

He constantly seems to have his armed crossed during the second part. Is he bored? Annoyed with Twilight? Suffering from an ulcer?

I wondered that too at first. But I think it's because Twilight told him to "Not move a claw" When she was after the Crystal Heart. So he was keeping his arms crossed so he wouldn't touch anything.

Perhaps, but the minute he looked up at Twilight in the tower after the crystal heart was recovered he was doing it again like he was in pain, maybe he had a ulcer from worrying about Twilight passing the test.

But yes, he was told not to move a claw, there for, he crossed his arm to limit the ability.

I guess Spike does that because he's just trying to be awesome and win the heart of Rarity.

That's just my personal opinion on this thing.

 

Wait, the two part premiere you said? Oh wait, Twilight said to Spike that he cannot move a claw, so he just did it for the heck of it. And he thought he had swagger.
