Should there be a new opening and ending for Season 3?

Would that beat away the feeling that you are about to watch MLP? How about a less girly opening scene so your mind would not groan (though honestly I personally like the opening but wouldn't mind a new one).

I wouldn't mind an opening that is a little less girly and a little more fast paced. I'm not one of the people who absolutely despises the current opening but a new one would help me feel a little less awkward when I'm watching it with my dad in the room. In the end though I don't really care, the opening isn't why I watch the show.

The intro is fine, in my opinion. Some people call it girly, but the only true 'girly' part I can see is the vocals for the first five seconds, until Twi's balloon gets below the clouds, and Dash flies through it. Like how Spongebob has never changed it's opening due to it being so popular, I don't feel MLP needs to change theirs. Change individuals within the scenes as they've already done? Yes, that makes a lot of sense. But I don't think an overhaul is needed.

The intro is perfectly fine in my opinion. The only thing I would change is the video behind it. Honestly it's fine by me, just the right amount of girlyness.

I don't mind, probably some minor changes to it would be fine, but this would be really awesome:

The disappointing thing is technically it's too late to have a distinct Season 3 intro. I guess nothing is impossible...

 

It would be funny to see an 80's Transformers type intro for the show.

I like it how it is, but I think they should change it for Season 3. Hey, they changed it for Season 2, why not this Season? I think it should be kept girly-ish and good for the family, but maybe a little shout out to the Bronies.

I'd rather they just skip the bloody thing. I hate intros. They get boring after the 1st time. I mean, it'd be pretty cool if they actually change it up a bit over time replacing old parts with new parts, so that eventually, we get this whole new opening different from the start of the season.

I say don't change it but I would love to see some variety in it. Like if there's a Halloween special, then make the intro more spooky. Or if it's Christmas then make it a festive atmosphere complete with choral music and bells or something.

I think a new opening theme and animation would be nice. I wouldn't say that it needs to be less 'girly' (I love all of the songs, no matter how girly or not they might be), but a unique song/animation sequence to go with the different seasons would be good.

I don't know why everyone is complaining about the title sequence lately... I mean, when it boils down to it, we are watching a show made for little girls. There's no getting around it. And no matter what, no matter how many bronies there are and will be, the target audience will always remain the same.

 

This means the title sequence will be girly, and I'm perfectly fine with that to be honest. It's not like the title sequence actually has any effect on the show. I figure they may change it in Season 4, probably keeping the same lyrics, but changing the animation. And that would be fine with me.
