Shankveld 4,949 January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 I was updating the forum family tree (which involves removing the old picture and then attaching the new picture) on the main post of the thread; which can be found here: http://mlpforums.com/topic/3277-our-family-here-at-the-mlpforums-warning-suggestive-language/ After waiting about 7 minutes, the new picture finally attached, but came up as a big black box, instead of the actual image :s . ~
Tom 891 January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 Check to make sure the image exists at the URL you used, other than that I'm clueless. I'd like to thank the MLP Vector Club for the images used in my avatar. Known as "Princess Mi Amore Cadenza", "Trixie the Great", "Tom" and "Tomzoid the EggDroid". The attachments are a better idea, actually, because the forum will generate a resized version of the image that loads much faster than a humongous embedded image. Image uploads should work and this is something I'd like to investigate. Shankveld, so I can take a proper look at this, can you please upload the image you're trying to attach in a ZIP file (this way, there's no chance of it getting modified - a lot of free image hosts will resize or recompress images)? Actually that's why I suggested imgur, imgur has much bigger limits then for instance Photobucket. And by much bigger, I mean i upload isometric images of Minecraft maps that are easily 2048 x 2048 pixels.
