[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

"Alright. Thunder Dash said as he waved goodbye to Chrysalis for the time being. Thunder Dash then used a revealer spell on the MP and saw the changeling. He then got up and went to see how the house was going. It was almost complete. 

 

Two days later, the house was finished. Thunder Dash tried to get the changeling to go to Chrysalis, but it was still drunk out of it's mind. Therefore, he went to get her himself. When he approached the hive, he went in. He then turned the corner to find Chrysalis and Shining Star curled up asleep. "Psst, Chrysalis, wake up. The house is ready. He said waiting for the two to wake.

Suddenly a changeling grabs you and slams you to the ground. "Foolish pony thinks that he can harm the queen and princess in sleep! Foolish pony should have stayed out...Thunder-Dash! I-im sorry, we did not realize it was you, i shall go get the queen and princess for you" he wakes up Chrysalis and she walks over to thunder-dash "I take it by you being here, the new home is complete? where is the drone, or did you miss me that much she said with a bit of sarcasm and a smile with out the fangs showing

"He's completely drunk out of his mind. I tried talking to him but he just had way to much cider the night before. Anyway, I informed the workers about the basement plan and it has been approved. A new form of digging has been invented and it is way faster. So the underground trenches have also been complete by the form of "Pega-drilling," in which a hole is dug manually and then a group of pegasus dive into the hole and basically fly underground causing the underground passage to be made." Thunder Dash said. "Now let's get you to your new home." Thunder Dash said flying into the air. When they arrived, the home was sparkling clean.

Chrysalis looks around and taking in the view. "You said that the tunnels were approved? Did they happen to ask why we needed so many tunnels underground. And if they know what was their reaction to finding out that changelings were going to be living here?"

"They were a bit nervous at first, but once I told them that the holes and trenches were used for regulating the ammount of changelings, then they calmed down." Thunder Dash said. "They were even kind enough to place small maps within the passageways." Thunder Dash said. He then used a spell that made a map appear. "Like this one." He said handing it to Chrysalis.

"They were a bit nervous at first, but once I told them that the holes and trenches were used for regulating the ammount of changelings, then they calmed down." Thunder Dash said. "They were even kind enough to place small maps within the passageways." Thunder Dash said. He then used a spell that made a map appear. "Like this one." He said handing it to Chrysalis. 

"this looks very good, i like the detail and how far the tunnels go. Thank you so much for helping out with this, and thank you for staying by shining stars side, even after you learned the truth about her. Most ponies would have just abandoned her or handed her off to the Guards" Chrysalis says

"Yeah, it was hard going through that, because just about every millitary specialist knew Shining Star's name." Thunder Dash said. "But it's all over now." Storm Rush said. "Now Ponyville can return to peace." Rainbow Dash said. "And the changelings have ways of traveling without interfering with Ponyville's daily flow." Thunder Dash said.

 

"Say, don't your group of changelings know about the routes?" Thunder Dash suddenly asked Chrysalis.

she hands the map off to an MP who changes back into a changeling and takes off down the tunnels getting lost every so often. "They will learn the route by the time they get here." she said slightly amused at how frequently the changeling got lost. she even burst into laughter when the changeling ended up back where he started giving the O.o look

Thunder Dash couldn't help but giggle a little himself. "Well, it's a new thing for them, so it might take some time. Let's just hope that they will get it very soon." Thunder Dash said. "Seriously Chrysalis, how many changelings do you have to date? I mean, you must have hundreds now." Storm Rush said. "And how do you keep up with the total amount per hive?" Thunder Dash asked.

Thunder Dash couldn't help but giggle a little himself. "Well, it's a new thing for them, so it might take some time. Let's just hope that they will get it very soon." Thunder Dash said. "there are actually 4.5 thousand changelings to-date, with five hives active, you only know of two. I was actually debating if i should go to the other hives and hide there for the rest of my days before you showed that changelings could be loved and respected." Chrysalis explained. Shining Star walks through the tunnels and walks up to the group. "Wow, that was easy to navigate." she said

Thunder Dash looked up to see Shining Star just pop up from one of the tunnels. "Whoa, that was fast!" He exclaimed. "So where are the other three?" Thunder Dash asked. "Are they beyond Ponyville, or hidden somewhere deep in the Everfree Forest?" Thunder Dash asked.

"there are actually 4.5 thousand changelings to-date, with five hives active, you only know of two. I was actually debating if i should go to the other hives and hide there for the rest of my days before you showed that changelings could be loved and respected." Chrysalis explained. Shining Star walks through the tunnels and walks up to the group. "Wow, that was easy to navigate." she said

"Two are in the Wastelands, two are in the Everfree forest, and one is hidden beyond ponyville. Each Hive is built to sustain only a max occupancy of one thousand changelings." Chrysalis said, shining star chiming in and adding "And there is one Hive outside of Equestria to train changelings to be combat warriors." she said happily

"Ooh, that could be useful. Thunder Dash said. "Once I talk to the millitary faculty I could probably get that batch of changelings to join the military once I get the approval. Hopefully they'll let the changelings join, because it's still pretty early and ponies are still recovering. We can wait for that. By the way, are all of your changelings combat trained?" Thunder Dash asked. "Specifically, do they alternate hives just so they can train?" Thunder Dash added to the question.

"Yes, all changelings are combat trained. They start training at age of eighteen, or earlier if they should choose to do so. The training is a four year period, and then they must attend the Equestrian Collage in-order to be able to commission and be an officer. Celestia dose not yet know it, but about twenty-five percent of her collage students are changelings that are learning to be able to obtain a commission. Due to the small problem of their ROTC putting them into the EMAF they come home after four years of collage and go through a four week course of Officer Candidate School. It really is a confusing process, but all changelings have no problem of being a full military group, and some actually end up going to collage to get commissions. My idea behind that was so that they could be educated. We have elementary, junior high schools, and High schools that our younger changelings must attend  if they fail to graduate, they are just retested until they do pass"

"Well, that sounds complex. I myself attended both high school and college. During my latter semesters in college, I was more active in the lower branches of the military  Since I had so much potential, my rank quickly skyrocketed, which is why I'm a Major at such a young age. I'm only 19. I only took one year of college, but for some reason Princess Celestia graduated me. I guess now, I've found out, that while I was in college still as a Private for the military, when I was training, they found that I was not suited for Private, so they boosted me up to Major." Thunder Dash explained.

"Well, that sounds complex. I myself attended both high school and college. During my latter semesters in college, I was more active in the lower branches of the military  Since I had so much potential, my rank quickly skyrocketed, which is why I'm a Major at such a young age. I guess now, I've found out, that while I was in college still as a Private for the military, when I was training, they found that I was not suited for Private, so they boosted me up to Major." Thunder Dash explained. 

"Some of my Changelings have told me that you left the EMAF, if i may be so bold as to inquire as to why you left? I sent some of my changelings in to see your records, but being locked behind glass and walls, they were unable to find anything. If this is too personal i will understand." She says this while more changelings are moving down the tunnels

"Yeah, well life is what it is, but I'm glad to be back on duty." Thunder Dash said with a sigh. "Seems like these changelings are getting the hang of this quickly." Rainbow Dash said. "Yeah, it's like they have done it a thousand times." Storm Rush added. "I wonder how they're gonna do when night falls." Thunder Dash asked. "Let's just hope none go sneaking around." Rainbow Dash said.

"Yeah, well life is what it is, but I'm glad to be back on duty." Thunder Dash said with a sigh. "Seems like these changelings are getting the hang of this quickly." Rainbow Dash said. "Yeah, it's like they have done it a thousand times." Storm Rush added. "I wonder how they're gonna do when night falls." Thunder Dash asked. "Let's just hope none go sneaking around." Rainbow Dash said. 

"They are just like little fillies, they will go where they want, but i will tell them not to sneak around and see if that has any effect" She then walks up the tunnel leaving shining star playing with a rock. She looks around and realized that Chrysalis left, but she goes back to playing with the rock

Thunder Dash kept watch over Shining Star as she played with the rock. He then wondered how many changelings hatch per day. "Hmm, if Chrysalis has five hives now and each could house...how many changelings was it again?" Thunder Dash asked himself. "All I know it's a big number."

 

Meanwhile Rainbow Dash was fiddling around with her wing.

Thunder Dash kept watch over Shining Star as she played with the rock. He then wondered how many changelings hatch per day. "Hmm, if Chrysalis has five hives now and each could house...how many changelings was it again?" Thunder Dash asked himself. "All I know it's a big number."

 

Meanwhile Rainbow Dash was fiddling around with her wing. 

Shining Star got tired of playing with the rock and stared at Rainbow dash fiddling around with her wing. a green flash of fire erupted around shining and when the fire went out shining had regular pegasus wings and shining started pruning her wings.

Rainbow Dash didn't notice the transformation but Thunder Dash did. He wasn't all that shocked. He then went over, gently picked up Shining Star and laid her on his lap and began to stroke her. Rainbow Dash got tired and soon fell asleep. Thunder Dash could hear the continuos movement of changelings in the tunnels.

Shining Star chirped in delight when Thunder-Dash started stroking her. Her thoughts then drifted to the others that had started this journey with them. She wondered if they were alright, and what ever became of them. She wondered what ever became of Flying Ace, Artifact, and Shade. After that last all out battle before coming to Ponyville they all got separated. She looks up at Thunder and says very sleepily "Daddy? What happened to the other ponies that started with us?"

Thunder Dash looked down at Shining Stars eyes as he continued to stroke her. "I don't know. They're just somewhere, but I don't know where. They were with us at the start, then they just went their own way." Thunder Dash said. He then continued to stroke her.

(OOC: yea i just tried to open a way for them to get back in, but i think the RP will be ending in a little while

 

Shining Star looked down, and closed her eyes. "I just miss them, i hope they didnt die because of me." Some of her brothers came over and put a blanket over her which in turn fell over on Thunder-Dash. One of the brothers said "Sleep tight princess" before leaving

Thunder Dash yawned and cuddled up with Shining Star. He felt the most comfortable ever, holding and cuddling Shining Star as he fell asleep. Rainbow Dash and Storm Rush came to sleep next to Thunder Dash. They all had fallen asleep. Rainbow Dash was also sleeping next to Thunder Dash. Thunder Dash wrapped his arm around Rainbow Dash as she settled in to sleep. It was like one loving caring family, together in harmony.
