[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

Thunder Dash looked at Shade as he stroked Shining Star to keep her calm. Rainbow Dash had curled up and fell asleep, but an explosion woke her up. Thunder Dash was thinking about the life he had before this happened. He thought about when he first mt Shining Star and how she was very shy. He also thought about the long journey they took to find her parents and where they ended up. 

(OOC: I sometimes find myself thinking about my academic journey, where I started and how far I've come)

 

"Soon, it'll be all over, soon..." Thunder Dash said to himself, as he continued to stroke and cuddle Shining Star. 

[Flying Ace 142]

Ace was in a corner while Thunder was trying to calm Star, Rainbow tryed to fall asleep but woken up again and shade was looking out the window. But Ace was laying down looking at the ground with a thoughtful look thinking about what the guard said about ponyville. They better be ok.

The Major runs into the room. "Everypony i have bad news, we are evacuating Cloudsdale, We need to get you all out of here, we have a flight escort to get you seven out of here and Queen Crysalis has agreed to house you seven until this war gets turned into our favor."  Shining Star had finally had enough running and hiding. Out of nowhere she developed enough courage to snap at the Major. "NO! No more running, no more lives being lost. we have to find Princess Celestia and find out who it was and how they managed to take her from under your noses. we are going to hunt them down and make them pay." at this the shield collapse and an explosion rips the entire south wall off.

"No!" Rainbow Dash said with a tears in her eyes. "It's hard Rainbow, but you're gonna have to push through this." Thunder Dash said comfortingly as he held Shining Star in his arms. He then used his magic to pick up Rainbow Dash and put her on his back."You lead the way, I'll look out for another place to stay." Storm Rush said. As the group left the chamber and Cloudsdale, Rainbow Dash looked back at Cloudsdale. It was her home, her birthplace. To see it get destroyed because of the war would be heartbreaking. As they flew across the lands, they came upon an abandoned cottage. "Hey, let's see if we can stay there." Storm Rush pointed. "Good idea." Thunder Dash said as he began to descend. Once in front of the cottage, Thunder Dash knocked on the door. "Hello, anypony home?" Thunder Dash asked. There was no answer. So, he tried to open the door and suprisingly, it opened. Inside the cottage were four beds, one that was the size for a young pony. There was also some food, a supply worth several months. "We could stay here for the time being. Let's just hope that enemies won't find us here." Thunder Dash said as he unpacked his stuff. Rainbow walked over to a corner and plumped herself down. Thunder Dash walkied over. He knew what was wrong. He continued to confort Rainbow in this time of great struggle.

Shade takes time to look around the cottage and found a trap door. "Hey guys I think I found a basement of sorts!" Shade called into the other room while fiddling with the door. "Anypony have any idea what might be down there?" Shade asked as she peered into the gloomy darkness of the steps. "Man I wish i had the ability to see in the dark!" said Shade to no one in particuler.

[Flying Ace 142]

Shade takes time to looks around the cottage and found a trap dor. "Hey guys I think I found a basement of sorts!" Shade called into the other room while fiddling with the door. "Anypony have any idea what might be down there?" Shade asked as she peered into the gloomy darkness ofthe steps. "Man I wish i had the ability to see in the dark!" said Shade to no one in particuler.

Ace walked over and looked in there as well "Hmm, I don't know what could be down there...but we could find out." Ace said putting a hoof on the first step, the secound he did it gave a load creak that made him jump back a litle. "Or we could just pretend like it's not there."

[Shade 2]

Shade walks back into the main room. "You know what? I never got to know your names." Shade said as she looked over the group with a curious glint in her eye. "also i'm sorry if i'm acting so mysterious, surviving explosions nearly point blank and feeling the shockwave hit you kind of makes you....warry of others but you seem like a good bunch." Shade said while walking to a chair and sitting down.

"I'm Thunder Dash and this is my sister Rainbow Dash." Thunder Dash said. "I'm Storm Rush." Storm Rush said turning to shade. "This little filly I'm holding is named Shining Star, that other pegasus over there is Ace." Thunder Dash said contiuing to confort Rainbow Dash who was still thinking about Cloudsdale.

"Ah...i suppose your the leader?" Shade asked with a worried glance at Rainbow Dash "Hmmm I can't do anything about mental traumatization but she will be fine with time though not herself." Shade said as she thought of may be troubling Rainbow Dash. "And the filly? Whats her story? Oh i'm so sorry for nosing around your busness like this  forget i asked." Shade said quickly as she thought of other things.

Outside the house a small fire fight erupted between both forces. Shining Star looks out the window and sees that the EMAF Army and EMAF Marines were effectively pushing back the enemy from the small area. "Look! The Marines are pushing back the enemy. I think we may start wining this fight." Within 30 mins the enemy retreated and the Marines and Army rushed behind them.

 

A few hours later shining notices two black stallions walking up to the cabin. Shining realized that they had a key and told everypony to hide. Which they all did just as the first Stallion walked in. "I am telling you that all we need is to regroup and we can retake Los Pegasus."said the first one. The second one replied "yea, we can retake Los Pegasus, but what about Coltifornia. Those workaholics Coast Guard Ponies managed to push our forces out." They start walking over to the hidden trap door and walked down. "Well. We just need to find out how to get this Mare to talk and we will be able to take control of the entire EMAF. Got the cattle prod?" "Yea i got it" They close the hatch to the trap door as they walk down the stairs.

Ace stuck his head out from where he was hiding. "Did you guys here that?! They have someone down there! We have to investigate!" Ace said walking over and slowly opened the door to not alert the mysterious stallions down there. "hould we see whats going on?" Ace whispered.

Shade slowlycreps towards the trapdoor and stops "yes we should see...who here knows how to sneak about better than a merc?" Shade asked everypony while quietly as possible open the door "we need to see who they have captive as well, it could very well be a friendly." Shade added as she finally got the door open and turned out the lights as not to arouse any alert from the two stallions.

"Hmm, I wonder where that stair well leads to." Thunder Dash said. "Maybe to a secret military hideout." Rainbow Dash said. "Wherever it leads to, it probably isn't safe for us to go down." Storm Rush said. "Hold on a sec." Thunder Dash said putting his ear down on the floor. He could hear the guards walking around. He then heard a door open and close. "I think they left out into an underground passage." Thunder Dash said. He then used a spell that allowed him to see through the floor and beyond. "Hey! There's a secret underground passage in the bottom of this cottage. Maybe soldier ponies use it in order to sneak to enemy territory." Thunder Dash said. "We should stay here for the time being. Hopefully the millitary ponies won't mind us living here. Besides I was part of the Air Force a few years ago. But I decided to withdraw after the last mission I did. So, I got this one covered." Storm Rush said. "Okay, just as long as you don't give them too much information." Thunder Dash warned.

"Well, I'm going in" and with that Ace walked in making sure not to make to much noise, thankfully the staircase heading down wasn't to dark for Ace not to see where he was going. When he got to the bottom he quickly hid as he saw the two stallions in front of somepony.

"Seriously? You're gonna get us caught! And if we get caught we're gonna have to keep traveling until we find anther place to take shelter until Ponyville is back in order." Thunder Dash said. "I'm not so sure that's a good idea..." Rainbow Dash followed. "We'll stay. Let us know what's down there. Who knows, it may be useful." Storm Rush said.

The two mystery ponies walk up to a tied up an Army earth pony. "you going to talk?" asked the darker pony. the white pony added. "and dont give us that BS that the Marine gave us, unless you want to end up like her. "OK, i will talk." "Good, i thought you will see our point. Now then Dark Blade, ask him your questions" ​"You idiot, i told you never to use our names when interrogating. *sigh* Anyways, were is Luna, and how do we get in." "Sergeant Bane, Wolf, 101st infantry division November 6th, 800 876-27-1894" The two mystery ponies looked very pissed and Dark Blade just takes out his knife and lunges into one of the sergeant's hooves. "I will let that stay in there for a while, when i get back you had better have made up your mind." Dark Blade, i think i heard something upstairs. "Dose your military still use this cottage as a military base!" "I dont think this was a military base, i think this was a fall out shelter. im going to go back up, mainly to get something to eat, but as well as to check this out. i am not coming back down here though as for i am needed to help with coming up with a plan on how to overrun Ponyville again. bucking EMAF managed to retake it, one of our major strong holds to." he walks out and starts heading back upstairs walking right by Ace.

"Shh, I hear somepony coming up. Quick! Hide!" Thunder Dash commanded. Rainbow and Storm hid as fast as they could until the steps faded out . Thunder could still hear some banging and yelling coming from the downstairs portion of the cottage. Thunder Dash watched as the military personel searched the place. They remained hidden for the time being.

Ace waited until the stallion walked past him and he hoped the others were hidden before he sees them, when he went upstaris Ace sneaked out and walked twoard the secound stallion on his way he picked up a stick, not to kill but just to knock him out.

the rough EMAF Air-Force pony searched the house for about five minutes before going into the kitchen and making some chow. Screams of pain could be heard from downstairs and the pony sighed then went into the living room to dinner and a movie. before seeing Shining stars cloak on the ground. "Huh? Whats this?" he says as he gets up and goes to investigate the cloak. he looks around puzzled by the cloak. Shining Star however is trying to hold back sobs of possibly loosing her cloak

Thunder Dash noticed the guard picking up the cloak. He had to do something. He couldn't use his magic when the guard was holding the cloak. He waited until the personell put the cloak down which was a while. He quickly used a silencer spell on himself to silence the noises his magic makes. He then swiped the cloak and wrapped it around Shining Star and remained silent.

Once Ace was right behind the guard in the basement he lififted his weapon high above his head "HEIIIYA!" Ace broght it down on the stallion's head causing it to break, Ace looked at the broken weapon with a stunned expression then to the guard to see if he was knocked out.

the guard was down on the ground KO'd and the second one heard this pulling out his pistol and running to the stairs. when he opened the door, the door made a loud bang as it hit the floor and he took off down the stairs making all sorts of noise. "You...you need to hide before he comes back down here. on my radio on the table behind you....there....there is a red button on it, if you press it, allied ponies would be coming...take it and hide, hurry" the soldier pony said through deep breaths.

the guard was down on the ground KO'd and the second one heard this pulling out his pistol and running to the stairs. when he opened the door, the door made a loud bang as it hit the floor and he took off down the stairs making all sorts of noise. "You...you need to hide before he comes back down here. on my radio on the table behind you....there....there is a red button on it, if you press it, allied ponies would be coming...take it and hide, hurry" the soldier pony said through deep breaths.

Ace did what he said and dived to the table knocking it down Ace quickly got up and pushed the botton with all his might even while he was running around finding somewhere to hide he was still pushed the botton soon he hid behind creats still phusing the button but not so hard.

"All units on this net; all units on this net, this is overlord, we have an allied personnel in trouble. Emergency Locating Beacon has been activated coordinates are as follows. standby switching over to secured net, out... ... ...All units on this net, all units on this net, this is overlord on secured net, coordinates are as follows S14 1578547231. All available units respond now" "What?! How did this happen?" he looks around and sees Ace hiding. "Who are you and how did you get in here" he said while holding his pistol at Ace.

[Shade 2]

Suddenly a rusted pipe comes from the shadow and knocks the second stallion out cold "Ok this is getting really old you know" shade says with a huff as she propped bothe stallions against a chair and tied them down with rope she found on a post. "okay when these two thugs wake up we need to get as much information out of them as possible." Shade states as she pats them down for anything that could be used to free themselves. "Ace make sure that trooper is alright eh? he may be of some value to us." Shade says as she finishes her search.
