"Alright, you heard her, let's move!" Thunder stated as he exited the hive and took to the skies. While in the skies, he gathered some electricity and reverted back to his pony form. Thunder Dash then flew over to where Luna was with the pod. They had to rest when they got to a certain point, but continued two days later.

*meanwhile in Canterlot, Luna was waiting anxously for Thunder-dash's and the groups return with some good news. She would come down to the Cryo chambers every morning and night and read Little Shining Star an adventure story, hoping that shining star could at least hear that

A day passed and Thunder and his family finally arrived in Canterlot. They saw Luna. "Luna! There you are! Here's the cocoon." Thunder stated. Rainbow and the others were exhausted. Thunder had Rainbow on his back. She was slowly nodding off to sleep. Thunder couldn't wait to have his daughter back.

*Luna raced over and had the cocoon sent down to where Shining Star was being held in cryo. What they didnt know was that the cryo pod had sprung a leak only an hour before the group returned, and the medical ponies quickly took shining star out of Cryo and into the cocoon* "it is good that you got here when you did. This pod failed, but by the looks of it, it only just failed. Lets hope this works" *a medical pony claimed as he was preparing the pod for complete shut down. Luna looked at Thunder-dash* "Thunder-dash, please come with me, the rest of you, please use the spare bedrooms and rest easy"

*luna took thunder dash to her office and laid out some documents* "i think it best that you officially become her father. and after what you just went though, i think chrysalis would think the same thing, i just cant help but wander, why Amaralis would abandon you all while searching for a queen changling to save shining stars life.

*luna stops* "oh? she gave you documents already? those would do as well, i just was not sure if there had been any official  documents given out that stated you as her legal guardian yet. Now, go get some rest, and in the morning you may go and see shining star.

"Okay." Thunder stated as he headed off to the bedrooms. He heard some light sobbing. It was Rainbow Dash. She missed Shining Star dearly. Thunder went by her side and comforted her. "It's okay Rainbow. Shining Star will be alright." He said comfortingly, hugging Rainbow. Rainbow hugged back tightly as she continued to sob.

"It's okay Rainbow. Shining Star will be alright." He said comfortingly, hugging Rainbow. Rainbow hugged back tightly as she continued to sob.  

*the next few days, Shining star could be seen through the cocoon's looking glass as her changeling side completely took over, then subsided taking on her pony form, and then finally, blended in together becoming the half-breed that she was always meant to. the Cocoon opened with a loud hiss, and shining star steps out a little dazed and confused, and with a little bit of yellow surrounding her muzzle, and hooves.* "d-daddy? where are you?" *she calls out*

Thunder was sleeping until he heard a familiar voice. He got out of bed and looked around. He then saw Shining Star. "I'm...right here..." He said getting choked up with every word he said when he saw Shining Star in perfect health after coming out of the cocoon.

Thunder was sleeping until he heard a familiar voice. He got out of bed and looked around. He then saw Shining Star. "I'm...right here..." He said getting choked up with every word he said when he saw Shining Star in perfect health after coming out of the cocoon.  

*shining star ran to thunder dash and hugged him deeply and started to tear up and whimper* "what happened daddy? how did i get into this cave? i remember you tucking me in, then i wake up in here....with yellow hooves and *sees her own muzzle* on my muzzle?" *she thinks back to her dream* "i remember dreaming of you trying to use your magic, for some reason, but i didn't know why." *a medical pony took a feather and analyzed it* "i just need to check something, it will only take an hour" *he said and left with her feather*

"You're back to your regular form. It's very hard to describe what happened." Thunder stated as he picked up Shining Star and took her to the bedroom. He then laid her on Rainbow Dash who was sleeping. Rainbow Dash stirred a little and then fell back to sleep.

*shining star nuzzled Rainbow dash, and went back to sleep, dreaming, but this time seeing the adventure that Thunder-dash had gone on, and saw the Strange Alicorn nuzzle herself, then walk away disappearing into the dark forest. Meanwhile in the medical office, the test comes back and the Medic brings in Thunder-dash for questioning.* "did you....did you do something while you were out looking for the other hives?

Rainbow Dash woke and saw Shining Star. She started to tear up, and sob as she hugged Shining Star tightly. Thunder looked with a smile as Rainbow reunited with Shining Star.

*shining star hug rainbow dash back the best she could whimpering* "im so sorry for worrying you mommy. i didnt mean to. i dont really remember what had happened a few days ago." *her ears were flat, and tears started escaping. as shining star's wings fluttered with joy of being reunited with her family.*

*luna smiled from the doorway, and leaves to put the cocoon in a safe keeping for when the day shining star would have to go back into it. little did she know, that the spell Thunder-dash casted in the forest had permanently fuzzed her pony DNA together, adding his DNA to her missing DNA strands. The Medical pony sees this in is studies, and rushes to Thunder-dash* "SIR!? Sir, you need to hear this!" *he says exited holding two papers, one before the adventure, the one from just an hour before*

"What?! What is it?!" Thunder asked as he got up and ran to where the medical pony was. Meanwhile Rainbow Dash was still hugging Shining Star. "I...missed you...so much..." She said sobbing and hugging her daughter. Storm Rush woke to some sobbing and saw Rainbow with Shining Star.

*the medic smiled*  "some how, one way or another, Shining star's missing DNA strands have been bridged. They have been bridged...with your DNA. I dont know how this happened, but i guess you can say that Shining Star is now really yours and Rainbow Dash's daughter by blood, and such.

"Oh wow! So that spell did work!" Thunder said happily. Thunder was very glad that his newfound Alicorn abilities worked on Shining Star. Now that his DNA was infused with Shining Star's, it was official that Shining Star was now his daughter. Storm Rush and Electra Blitz went to hug Shining Star.

*the medic leaves the group so that they could catch up, and shining star hugs everypony tightly, trying hard not to cry, now that she knew that it was almost a whole month that she could not recall.* "so...so what happened to me? why did i go to sleep for so long?" *she asked slightly scared*

"Your pony side was dying...so I used my most powerful spell ever. I gave you some of my DNA so that your pony side could continue to live." Thunder stated. "Thunder almost gave his life for you Shining Star." Rainbow said still a little choked up and sniffling quite a bit.

*shining star looked at Thunder-dash* "you almost died tried to save me? do i really mean that much to you? *she asked tears filling her eyes and she hugged Thunder-dash and Rainbow Dash very tightly* "i really must be your filly for you to do something so dangerous as that" *she said in between sobs*

"You are my special filly, which is why I would never let anything bad happen to you." Thunder stated as he continued to hug and cuddle Shining. "It's all because daddy loves you." Thunder said nuzzling Shining Star happily. Rainbow was slowly recovering from her sobbing.

@@C. Thunder Dash,  shining star could no longer hold back her sobs and broke down crying hard." im so sorry i caused so much worry for you mommy and daddy. im so very very sorry" she burried her face in rainbow dashs chest crying hard and choking slightly on her cries and sobs
