Draco smiled mischiviously. Without warning her kissed her passtionately. When he parted from her lips "Hmmm you taste sweet and innocent. Of course I don't mind if you do kiss me Rose don't be shy around me I keep telling you if I give you something that makes you happy I'm happy," Draco said as he chuckled.

"The old hag deserved it." Diamond muttered, Trotting into the back room and turning on the coffee maker which hadn't come to life in years. "Coffee... Here we go... Coffee... take the grounds... Put them in the strainer thingy... fill this thing with water... And now I wait." She thought, Staring at the Coffee maker. "This... Is going to be the worst cup of coffee in equestria."

Ace's jaw hit the floor at what he saw. Did Draco just? He did. Ace got a wide grin on his face "Ah young love, how random it can be sometimes. Good job Draco." Ace said clapping then looked over to Diamond. "Did you see that? That was awasome!...Are you ok? You seem to be having troble with the coffee maker."

In hindsight, Rose could have slapped herself for not expecting him to kiss her after such a comment. After all, this was Draco O'Malley she had been talking to. However, to say she had not enjoyed the kiss would be to downright lie. Blushing furiously, yet with a slight smile, she said, "You know me, it's just not that easy. Not everypony is as outgoing as you."

Diamond trotted out of the back room and looked at Ace. "W-What did I miss ? Did something happen ? And I um... I think I got it." She said, Glancing back at the big old rumbling coffee maker. *I still dont get it... Coffee in a tea shop... Grandmama would be ashamed.* She thought.

 Draco began to sing as he walked past Diamond. He checked the ammount of grains and shook his head. He began to help her make great coffee while singing. He always loved to sing. But then he heard the comment Ace said. He pulled out a mallet then threw it at Ace.

"Um... I will just let you figure all that out... I dont really like...C-Coffee." She said, trotting over to the cactus that Rose had given her and trimming some of the leaves so she could hang them out to dry. *I cant wait to try this tea... If its good I will put it on the menu... Saddlearabian Delight... No... Gentle Cactus ? I will figure it out later.* She thought.

Rose slowly returned to the table in the corner she had sat at previously, still blushing furiously. She figured everypony there had seen that, but there was no reason to bring it up unless they did. She sat, quietly, and started playing with the Moonbeam Flower absentmindedly, opening and closing its beautiful petals. (In lieu of the thumbs she does not have to twiddle).

Draco rolled his eyes as he finished the pot of coffee. The aroma entered into the customer area. The coffee smelt like heaven to Draco he for some reason always liked coffee even when he was but a little colt. His grandpa always let him have coffee in the mornings.

Diamond eyed the coffee pot. *Why do I still have that thing... Why do I still serve it if I hate it... Humpf.* She thought, putting half of the cactus leaves into a dehydrator and the other half onto a small rack sitting on the counter. "When you finish making your... Coffee... Just leave everything there... I will clean up when I close the store in about an hour." She said to Draco, trotting into the mane room and sitting down next to Rose.

Draco walked out with a cup of coffee smiling as he sat down with the ladies "Hmmm coffee is good for the soul. But so it tea," He said with a wink to Diamond and Rose. Draco smiled as he slowly drank his coffee. "but it doesn't ease my loneliness" Draco said quietly more to himself than out loud.

When suddenly a wonderful smell reached his nose. He snapped out of his trance to see the aqua vitae, liquid ambrosia, magnum opus, coffee! Schola eyed Draco's coffee greedly. "Alas alas, I have but one bit!" He lamented inside. "Uhh..." He stammered, "Can I get as much coffee equal to the value of one bit please?".

Diamonds eye's widened. *Humf.* She thought. "Like before... The C-Coffee is on the house." She said to Schola as she trotted into the back room to get another cup of coffee. 

"Here you go." She said, magically floating the cup and placing it on the table in front of Schola as She sat down.

"Your not a big fan of coffee are you?" Ace asked rubbing the bump on his head from the mallet Draco threw at him. Where was he keeping a mallet?! Why does he have a mallet?! "So Daimond what type of tea do you like? I don't really have a favorite flavor yet." Ace said.

"Yes... I dislike...coffee. And I dont think I would be able to choose a favorite tea, all the tea that I have here are ones that I really enjoyed so... I put them up on the shelves for ponies to buy. You should see my house, The amount of tea that I have here would barely add up to half there." Diamond giggled and finished off her cactus nectar.

Ace laughed "you should see MY house you can't even take one step without books falling on your head. As you can tell I love to read and my house is amost full of books." Ace said taking a drink of the cactus nectar. "So how did you get your love of tea?" Ace asked.

"Well, I have always enjoyed it. But I guess it started when I moved here, I was 16 and that was when I met Rose and my roommate Star... We all went to school together, Not for that long but that was kinda when we were the trouble makers... er I was. Anyhow, I decided to try making it and I loved it, To me whatever type of tea I made tasted better. Allot of the stuff I use in my tea comes from Roses garden and she is an expert at growing plants and stuff. And Star Is really good at making remedies, so we figured we would start a cafe kinda tea shop thing where Star could sell her potions and remedies and I could sell tea... we also have sandwiches." Diamond smiled.

Rose smiled, still looking a little embarrassed, but glad to have something new to talk about. "Yeah, my house is a lot like yours, Ace, except it's potted plants you need to worry about, not books." She chuckled, and said, "Potted plants hurt a lot more, and make more of a mess when they're dropped on you,"

Diamond smiled. "I am rather happy that only tea bags fall on my head... I guess there was the one time where a mug fell onto Star Song... Anyhow, There have been a couple times where the tea bag splits open but its not a hassle to clean up." She said as she Stood up. "Can I take any of your dishes to the kitchen ?"

Schola drinks the coffee very slowly, taking time to enjoy the taste. "Sweet coffee, 'tis thou hast ravished me! Bene pacire est finis coffee. Is, to be pleased, coffee's chiefest end? Affords this beverage no greater miracle? Then drink no more; thou hast attain'd that end." he repeats to himself.

 

"But a greater matter presents itself" he says to Ace, "You, good pony, still have my cloak! May I please retreave it?"

Draco chuckled slightly and said "Schola I make coffee every morning when I go into work so you don't have to worry about it," Draco sighed as he just remembered it was nearly time for him to visit his family's grave. He didn't want to by his ancestors he didn't want to.

"Well if I had a job I would be able to buy coffee" Schola started to reply "..I would probably buy it here." He then turned his attention to Diamond. "Sorry about not having money, is there any I could open some sort of tab? I swear I am good for it... well... not right now. But I will be good for it.. well I hope I will." he ponders for a moment, hoof on chin "Now that I think about it I would not give myself a tab... but that should not stop you from giving me a tab!" He said, smiling sheepishly.

"Schola I just gave you a ell paying job," Draco said with an annoyed tone to his voice. He sighed slightly "This is a tea shop Schola not a cafe I only asked her as a joke I didn't think she'd actually make some coffee," Draco said as he sipped his cup of coffee slowly.

Replying to Draco: "Yeah, but I had not earned any money yet so I account it as naught. I thank you for the job and potential bits you have given me. I have only been here a few weeks and have not really seen the town, I just wanted to give my patronage to this very nice pony here" He says gesturing to Diamond, "Who let a beggar such as myself seek shelter from the cold here, she also gave me a cup of tea and coffee on the house! This would have never happened in Canterlot."

Yavolin decided to head to get something warm to drink he didn't that Draco was inside the shop at the time but he didn't care, he went inside and order himself a drink but he made a statement about hearts warmer eve."Ba HOMBUG"! He remembered that this was the time of year that always didn't work out for him.
