Midnight shook his head, "dont worry about that, beacuse of fenrir i cant sleep." he chuckles "so good luck for them, a changling and a werewolf...." he facehoofed then shook his head, "anyway, your a changling huh? thats pretty cool honestly." he smiled in a friendly manner.

Shift said for the second time that day "id prefer it if you didn't liken me to those mindless drones. I was born with the power of a Shifter. something so much stronger then masking my appearance as other changelings. Because of this the present king feared for his throne, or the throne of his daughter Chrysalis. So he ordered me killed, I escaped. Ive been fending for myself ever since." 

Shift turned back to his companion. "did you say warewolf?" Shift chuckled. "What a sight we would be on the field of battle."

im turely sorry if i offended you, should i just call you shift?"  he then nodded "yeah." he shook his head and smiled, his eyes shifting from orange to yellow "fenrir and i would absolutely enjoy it." he grinned, licking his teeth then shook his head, "damnit fenrir, go back to sleep......." he sighed.

"sorry, i havent let him out in months and hes been getting a little....antsy."

Shift listened to Midnight talking to his other self. "Well why not, why dont we go out there and sparr for a bit. You as fenrir, was it? and me as this." Shift had transformed into the shape of a wolf. his voice dropped slightly after the change. 

"The least we can do is show those others that they cant take us."

midnight nodded, "we need to streach our "legs" as it were," he chuckles and stands up, his body shaking a bit as his fur goes frizzly, his body cracking and changing growing about 2 feet taller, his teeth turning to fangs.

"nnf." he shook his body and streached his back, "ahh, havent seen this form in awhile." he chuckled his voice deeper and more feral.

the two wolves walked out into the open night and turned to face each other. "Oh dont worry about hurting me, if it comes to it ill just use That. But afterwards you are going to have to watch my back, it takes a lot out of me." Shift the proceeded to circle the werewolf waiting for the other to make the first move.

Fenrir grinned, "deal, its been ages since midnight has been able to feel this power." he counter circled the wolf watching him for a moment, then realized he wanted him to make the first move, and was all too happy to obladge.

he ran forward at a faster speed then even the guards could see, his razor sharp claws swiping at the other wolfs belly just barely missing, leaving 4 light trails of blood,  as the other wolf dodged.

"ahhh, give a old wolf a chance." he teased, "im a bit rusty."

"Haha sure you are, you nearly had me there." Shift ran directly at the werewolf, acting as if to lunge for the throat but swiftly altered his trajectory to take a bit out of his leg. only Shift's jaws closed on empty air, sensing another attack Shift rolled to the side, just out of reach.

Fenrir jumped out of the way of shifts bite, "heh," he grinned, "i can tell you have had time to hone your skills as a wolf." he smirked, "i cant use my teeth unless you want to become a werewolf yourself, and i doubt that, i CAN get painful." he smirked and made another lunge with his left paw, only stopping short and swiping with his right paw, the paw shift wasnt focused on.

Shift was knocked backwards by the unseen paw and he tasted blood in his mouth. He didn't bother putting effort into a reply. he stood back to his feet. He stepped forward and dodged the next swipe before throwing into an attack of his own. He threw his left claw towards his opponent, not expecting to do much damage, followed by his right which was blocked. Shift finished with a lunge and bit into the werewolf's shoulder, making a descent, but by no means fatal wound.

 

(OOC: in the intrest of not getting too far ahead of our fellow RP'rs this will be my last post for tonight.)

Orange Lightening was busy with the dummies, using the sword to attack the arms and legs of the dummy. He also had a shield so he blocked the dummy's automatic attacks, making sure his stance was strong and his movement was just as fast, as how he flies in thunder clouds.

The lightening Pony thought to himself without saying a word, as he continued to use both his sword and shield on the dummy.

Umbra watched him further then smiled, a short laugh breaking forth from him, it wasn't sarcastic either, it was genuine hearty laughter. as if he found something more than amusing. He said something to one of the passing guards and they laughed though it was obviously forced. Why the hell were they so afraid of this pony? He didn't look to be physically strong and was obviously barely older than most of them.

Fenrir winced at the bite but then grinned at the exposed neck of the wolf, he realized that shift couldnt possibly turn into a werewolf, being a shape shifter probibly immunes him to that sort of thing.

he smirked and lunged forward biting in to shifts neck, picking him up by his neck muscles alone and tossing him back, "i have give you respect for survivng in the everfree for so long," he licked up the blood  "most NORMAL werewolves are afraid of stepping foot in there, but then again, im not really normal."

Orange Lightening grinned as for finale, he done a spin slice to the dummy's head, as it flew off and hit the forced laughing guards on the head. "Ooh yeah, vavavoom baby, I got the moves." The lightening Pegasus grinned as he flew in the air, doing some crazy victory dance moves. (you know just for the giggles. )

Turning back to his opponent he said; "Not normal you say? is anyone here really normal? Anyway im having way to much fun to use that, but I wont be taking it easy any more."

Shift set up in a defensive position again, waiting.

Fenrir chuckled, "mind explaining what THAT is? being the curious werewolf i am." he smirked "and no, i dont really think anyone is normal here, but i think its what luna needs to beat celestia." 

he ran forward straight at shift, before zagging left then turning sharply and tried to headbutt shift, who barely dodged.

"gah, nice, and i didnt expect you to take it easy."

Umbra opened the door. He looked a lot smaller without his armour, another cup of tea steaming in his hoof. "Ohaidere, come in. Tea? Scone?" he says, sitting in a spinny chair, behind a desk. By the wall was his armour on a mannequin. A collection of weapons were held above it including a cruel looking scythe.

he ran forward straight at shift, before zagging left then turning sharply and tried to headbutt shift, who barely dodged.

"nah i think ill keep that to myself for now, its too much fun playing with you, i wouldn't want to kill you."

With a push off the ground Shift transformed mid-air into a griphon and gained altitude before diving the werewolf. he was knocked out of the air by the werewolf's claw, leaving one of his wings sprained. 

"Well that didn't go as planned." Shift deadpanned ah he switched back into wolf form.
