I can not say that I am good at drawing ponies, so I can not give you criticism on whats going good/bad, however I can say is that with practice (and more posts of practice attempts) you will be even better. (I just want to see more in honesty) Looks great!

This is great, having a theme and a detailed background, something rare to see. (I don't ever do backgrounds, for exaple.)

What you should pay attention is making their bums smaller and a bit more defined. Also, Derpy's wing looks kind of deformed... I like to look at actual photos or realistic drawings of wings when I draw pegasi, I advise you the same. Oh, and Lyra's legs a teeny tiny bit wide. All in all, it's a really good picture, you just have to pay a little bit more attention to anatomy. ^^

I'll start with the criticism. The ponies' flanks are waaayyy too big, and they have no nostrils in your art. Also, I think their eyes are rounder in the show...And the kitchen tiles are a bit too angled, so the floor looks tilted. Lyra's legs look downright fat, and the leg she's lifting looks like if she straightened it out, it would be too short to touch the ground. I'd say you could have made the tails look less jagged, too (the manes are fine). 

 

Now for the compliments! ~ I love the way you did the kitchen. It's cartoony, but also shaded in correctly and very detailed. It looks like you spent a lot of time on this art. I also adore Derpy's wings (or, wing) detail, even though it looks a bit floppy.

1. You're not good you're BLOODY EXCELLENT!!

2. Have you tried using the vanishing point method?

Some of the lines seem to be off as far as angle goes. It's way better than I would have done anyway.

I must have forgotten that o.o I think I should redo this picture lol, so many missed details xD
