"So you're gonna open the door by my guess?" Hypno asked, the sickle still hanging down from the couch he was sitting on by the chain it was attached to. "Easy enough... And how are we going to get the girl out?" Leon asked. "There would be a total of four in there then, the three that can open the door besides us, and Weiss herself." He said.

"I'm the only one who can," said Gwen. "But what I need some of you to do is distract the only one that'll be there. Carullo is away and Dyn has a day job, leaving Eos Melys. She may be the most dangerous but if we threaten someone close to her she'll hand Sasha right over. And I know just who we should do that for. If we can threaten someone Sasha's close to as well, that leaves us a lot of wiggling room. Who'll be coming with me?"

"Me!" chimed the girl, who was now attempting to climb on Damon's lap.

"Besides you," said Gwen tiredly.

"Now we're talking." Damon said as he helped the girl up onto the couch. "That's why I brung these two here in the first place, to find relatives of those we're trying to get." Damon explained. "I ran a few background checks on a few of the people I met that I know are close to Weiss. Someone who doesn't have powers I quite a bit easier to use as leverage. King has a sister in the hospital, but I think that he'll be at it frequently. So I think that her best friend, Anna will do." He explained.

 

"As for who should go with who, Leon should probably go with you due to the fact he is more combat ready for someone you might know, and me and Hypno can find Anna." He explained.

"'Allie' is with King, too, and as you probably know she's not fun to fight. As for finding Anna, easy." She reached into her pocket and pulled out one of the compasses, tossing it to Damon.

"That thing'll take you right to her. She has others staying with her, but they've gone to see the rebels. We must act soon."

 

She glanced at Leon. "Eos is able to enter and override bodily systems. Make sure that if you see her body collapse you steel yourself. She can get in you but it may be harder if you resist strongly."

 

She looked at the girl.

"If we pretend to hold her hostage, though...she's human. Eos would be putty."

Damon took the compass, nodding as he got up getting Hypno to come with. Leon looked to Gwen "If she can't control things that are already dead I should be fine." He said. "Even so, my body would be rather... 'unfun' to control." He added as almost levitated up from the couch and started to walk towards the door.

 

Damon opened up a portal and took it down to the streets with Hypno. He looked at the compass and started off to where it led. Hypno started to whistle, twirling around the sickle in his hands by the chain as he looked around.

"You don't quite get it, do you?" Butajiri asked, tossing Eos a picture with the best view of the bald man's face. "If he doesn't belong to you, that means someone in this city knows a lot more than he should. And he will no doubt be interested in you as well. Act as calm as you want, but you cant pretend like you're the most well informed person in the city any more. To be perfectly honest, out of everyone in this city, I hate you the least..."

 

"Hey, wait a minute!" Hirue interrupted.

 

"Shut up, Hirue. If you're being honest and this man isn't informing you, then either the rebels or the government is quickly gaining an upper hand. This balance that you are so fond of is going to shift, and as I understand, neither side is very fond of you!"

@, Frey hooked Lester by the shoulders without warning. "This'll be fun, and any soul that sees us'll think they're crazy!" His feet lifted off the ground and he shot up into the air with Lester in his grip. They stayed suspended for a few seconds before Frey spotted the cave entrance.

"Ready?"

Damon looked over to Hypno as they walked. "So what Is your first name anyways?" He asked with a grin. "Starts with a.... F... no... maybe... Oh, now I know. Starts with a Z." He rambled on. Damon sighed after a few seconds. "Close enough... I guess..." He commented as they walked. He noticed large rips in his jacket. Hypno noticed him look and sighed. "Had a run in... with a cat... real big one too." He said as he used a type of blue magic that surrounded him. His ripped hoodie turned to a blue wool mid length trench coat and he called it a day.

The elf remained silent throughout Butajiri's rant and looked thoughtful, then nodded.

"I may be able to get informants on both sides," she said, tapping her chin. "Just me collecting this information isn't enough anymore. He can't get in here, but if he manages to convince one of us to do so then we're in trouble. I'm afraid I cannot give you the power until this is cleared over, and I will be changing the locks so the others can't either."

Gwen followed, the girl trailing both of them.

"She'd find a way," she said with a shrug. "I think we should be enough to distract her, though, especially with this little parasite. So what do you plan on doing?"

"If I find out that this is all a lie and you are working with him, you're going to need a lot more than a lock to protect you." Butajiri said. He turned around and motioned for his partner to follow him. "Come on Hirue, we're done here for now."

 

(That was actually the closest Butajiri has ever gotten to being openly helpful.)

"I plan on using magic, if that's what you're asking. I'm not really the planner, but the shocktrooper in the mission" Leon said as he walked out the door with Gwen. He took the stairs down and out the door.

 

Damon noticed they were getting close to where the compass was pointing. He could sense the human he found in Weiss' house a day ago. He decided Hypno would be best for retrieving her easily.

Eos sighed tiredly. "Thanks for the intel," she added, and opened the door with a little mocking wave, slamming it shut with gusto.

"Brawn and not the brains? Suits you, I suppose. Then here's what we do," said Gwen, and, with an irritated noise, hitched the girl onto her back. "I'll open the door, and Torri'll pretend you forced her. Threaten her however you see fit, and Eos'll be forced to hand over the doggie. Wouldn't let anything happen to this one."

 

Torri stared at Leon with wide dark blue eyes. "You can kill me if you have to, Mr. Leon," she said, and Gwen flicked her.

"Don't be daft," she muttered.

"I'm quite a bit more intelligent than Damon, but just more magically powerful. Brawn isn't the right term, but close enough." He explained as he walked. "So I'm evidentally using this girl as a hostage?" He asked with a grin. "That's pretty clever." He commented he walked, readying himself.

"Just kill me, Mr. Leon," lamented Torri, and Gwen flicked her harder.

"We're not going to kill you," she said grouchily, and Torri scrambled off her back, suddenly pulling a short, sharp piece of metal out of her bag.

"I'll do it then, Ms. Gwen," she threatened in her childish voice, and Gwen turned and kicked her in the stomach lazily, knocking her over and sending the piece of metal scattering.

"Quit moaning and hurry up," she said, then grabbed the large bag of dolls and continued walking.

"Ignore her, she's wildly suicidal," she told Leon, keeping a close eye on the disgruntled Torri.

"We're almost there. Get ready," she added.

"Already am." He said as he looked around for the building slowly. He grabbed a book out of a pack at his side. It was a old leather cover book with a pentagram on the front of it. He levitated it open and readied himself as he started to walk again towards the house with an bored look.

(OoC: How does he know where the place is? Wat. Also, it's not a house.)

 

"Wrong place," said Gwen, grabbing his arm and steering him a few more houses down. There was a small ginnel running between the houses, and a tiny shed lay there.

 

"Are you ready?" she asked, glancing at the two. Torri noddex, back to cheerful.

(Filler since there was nothing else to write. I expected it to be a house and he was just following Gwen)

 

"The shed?" He asked. "I figured there was something better for a secret place of operations then a broken down shed..." He sighed. "I'm guessing it's bigger on the inside." He added.

*Sasha uncomfortably padded the bed she was in. She had a bad feeling of things to come.*

*King didn't respond. He didn't know how to. He had lost everything precious to him.*
"Thank you for your sympathy."

*He said sadly.*

"I just.... I wish I was stronger. So I could actually protect people and not be constantly failing them. But Im just a Bard. I can make people stronger, I can make people weaker, but I cant be strong myself."

*Lester began to freak out.*

"Whooaahh! What are you doing? If you wanted us to get there fast I could have just teleported us!"

"Ha ha! Now wheres the fun in that?" Frey asked before taking in a deep breath of air. "Can see just about anything when you fly with the clouds. Really lifts the spirit!" He held Lester tight and dove down to the base saying, "A mans gotta get in the right spirits, dont ya think it's so?"

 

He slowed down at the very last second and let Lester down in front of the tunnel. "See, that wasnt so bad. Just gotta get into it is all."

The Rocketeer sat down at the base, sad, his search led to failure, he hoped that sasha was safe where ever she was

 

Night Hawk was milling around his home, thinking over his life

 

Hunter arrived at the capital building and parked his car, he got out and walked up to the building and entered a password and entered the building

 

Fear was walking about the streets, he got himself a pair of cargo pants, boots and a hoodie off his victim, he still needed a new weapon, a scalpel wasnt going to cut it for too long

"Eos never told us why she's based here, though I have an idea," said Gwen grimly.

"Torri, be a dear and start screaming when I cue you. You, Leotard or whatever your name is, start...I dunno, grab her or something."

Illium sighed. "We can't all be strong," she said. "But you are, you just don't see it. There's hope for your sister yet; there may even be a way to awaken her."

"Fair enough." he said with a shrug as he placed his hand on Torri's shoulder and waited for the cue.

 

Damon and Hypno reached the house, they walked around it a few times before Damon nodded and snapped his fingers with a grin. The lights and the power in the house Anna was in all shut off as the power was cut. Hypno then entered silently.

*Lester shivered, glad to be back on solid ground.*

"Never did like flying. Airplanes were bad enough. Always made me kinda sick."

"They've been trying to wake her for six years. Im beginning to loose hope."

*Anna did not even notice the loss of power, or Damon and Hypno's entrance. She was too engrossed in the game.*

"Aw, sweet! Shiny Vulpix!"

Gwen focused for a few moments, and then said, "Now."

Torri began to belt out a shattering scream, and Gwen stuffed a gag in her mouth and fiddled with the door, which swung open easily.

"Help me! Help me!" sobbed Torri around the gag, and Eos instantly came running.

"Torri?" she yelled frantically. "Torri, is that you?"

"Yet I know two people who could help," said Illium impulsively, then quickly shut up. She didn't know why she wanted to help this guy, but she was being stupid.

Leon changed his composure as black magic surrounded his hand that was grabbing Torri, he also kept a blast pointed at Eos. "Seems we have a predicament now don't we?" He asked with a grin.

 

Damon waited outside as Hypno entered, he started to whistle as the sound of his sickle scraped the ground as he walked in the house. The whole presence of the house now felt off and dark.

"Butajiri.." Hirue said, holding out an arm to stop him. "Did you hear that?"

 

"Yes a little girl screaming. Who cares?"

 

"Maybe it was a puppy!"

 

"Hirue... Im not even going to begin to describe everything wrong with what you just said..."

"Whatever." Frey said. "Get us inside. We gotta find Sasha."
