Just going to add my voice to the chorus, here. Making it a private RP is definitely the best way to go.

Um... One issue. The main draw of the story is that a blizzard is keeping all the OCs in one place, and if yours can control snow, then the whole thing unravels. I guess she can still join, does anyone have any idea how to counter the snow control thing? Also, I'm going to put up the thread today, but don't feel pressured to post today. Oh, and one more thing. Should I make it open? After all, the OCs can't be the only ones at the resort. Maybe somepony else who just happened to be there just met an OC, and became a Player Character.

we'll just say that. and also i think it should be private, because otherwise too many people will add to it and it will get really confusing.

Yeah, there is. We have five mares(including myself. Two mares aren't listed. They are you and Kite Breeze) and five stallions.

I think you should do it private, if anyone joins now, the teams will be odd again. You should update the character's list in the first page, Kites Breeze and Snow Dream are absent.

Patience is a virtue. He already has enough pressure on him so let's not rush him so much. Hopefully it will be up soon. I just hope everyone is on the same page about where to start in this RP otherwise it's going to be an unorganized and possibly chaotic.

 

As for the private or open matter. Why not do both? Have it open for anyone who is approved in this topic. That way we don't have random people jumping into the story and we can limit the amount of entries so we don't have too many stallions or too many mares. Just my 2 cents.

I know patience is a virtue. But what i mean is that i have seen in plenty of other RP's how people tend to forget about the RP and just leave.

 

As fore the private thingy, i think we should leave it private, we can't risk changing pieces of the plot again if another one joins, that would uneven the mares and stallions teams.

I personally think it should be private. I've already experienced the mess that is having an open role play and random folks that probably didn't even initially post in the planning thread just decided to come in anyway and do whatever the hell they wanted. I had  to ask for that to be closed down  because everything was getting out hand.

I know some of that was my fault too. I didn't set up enough rules and I didn't have a clear direction or any kind of plot really set up. So I do take some of the blame for what happened. However, I've learned from it and I'd really hate to see the same fate befall this one.

Also, should the RP be a Normal One or an Advanced one? I have no problem as to which one because i love writing.

Advance might be a bit difficult for me. I'd prefer normal, but I guess we'll have to see what evilcorgi has to say about that.

 

And I don't like the limits too. I suppose I can kind of understand why they're there (to keep people from posting just one word or whatever) but ugh it's annoying when I just want to say something short.
