So my friend knows how to sew, like really well. She even makes plushies! In that traveling pony museum her Princess Cadence and Shinning Armor were featured.

Woah....DAYUM. That takes some skill. My grandmother is an expert at sewing and not even she could do that.  Discord looks EXACTLY the way he did on the stained glass in that episode.

Awesome tapestry! I have a bit of skill in sewing, but no more than anyone who has had a few weeks of practise.

I realise this isn't a conventional male hobby, but I like to use my fingers, and often aren't able to play the piano as I'm often in the situation where it will end up waking people up

 

The Luna plushy was...amazing! I swear, if I had a bit more courage, I would honestly love one of those for my room!

She and her mom have been sewing for forever I guess. They have some awesome costumes too and she made me a pirate skirt in exchange for a chainmail pouch.

I believe it took her two to three months of off and on work. She also had commission plushies she had to finish too.
