"Oh it's nothing..." Minath said, frowning still. One day she'll need to hunt down her parents, to find out if she'll die. Natural alicorns never die, while alicorns who get a piece added live the pony lifespan. But enough doom and gloom.

 

"I was, uh, just thinking asbout Alicornia." Minath said, staring at her hooves.

Star smiled and took his hoof. She shivered slightly as the air felt much colder than the water, she shook all the water off her wings, making sure none of it got on Nightfall. After getting slightly dry she took one of the towels to get rid of the rest of the water.

 

(Sorry for the late post; I feel like a ditz.)

 

He grabbed his own towel and dried off, then wrapped it around himself.

"Wanna go back inside..? I think it will be warmer in there than it is out here..."

"Way to go, Captain Obvious."

He moved towards the door, and went to open it.

Star nodded after wringing all the water from her tail.

She trotted over to Nightfall and followed him inside. "So what would you like to do now ?" She asked, placing the towel over her shoulders and looking up at Nightfall, waiting for a response.

He paused, the closed the door, moved over to a couch, and wrapped up in his towel in a way that wouldn't let him get the couch wet.

"I don't know, Star..."

He blushed, and sat down, relaxing and putting one of his hooves on the back of the couch.

"I really don't know what."

He paused, the closed the door, moved over to a couch, and wrapped up in his towel in a way that wouldn't let him get the couch wet.

"I don't know, Star..."

He blushed, and sat down, relaxing and putting one of his hooves on the back of the couch.

"I really don't know what."

 

Star shrugged and walked over to Nightfall. She sat down on his lap and cuddled up close him, wrapping her wings around herself. she was feeling slightly chilly after the swim. "I'm happy to just cuddle." She said, smiling and nuzzling the end of his nose.

He smiled, blushing slightly. He put his hooves around her, hugging her, then wrapped his wings around them both, keeping in a little heat, but not enough to make them sweaty.

"I can cuddle."

He nuzzled her back, then kissed the tip of her nose softly, gently.

Rambler had heard rumors about Alicornia during his travels, but he knew very little about it, save that he would never be able to go there because of their alicorns only policy.

Nightfall moved one hoof up and petted Star's mane while he used the other to hold her, his wings still around her.

The way her head felt on his chest... it made him feel good, and as he relaxed, so did his heartbeat and breathing.

Star nodded and began to feel quite sleepy, she felt his breathing and heart beat slow slightly and could tell he was probably just as relaxed as her. She smiled. "I'm getting tired...would...would you like to come home with me ? We could have tea with Diamond tomorrow, and I don't want to leave you." She said.

"Sure... I may have to go back to my shop and pick up a few things, but it won't take long."

He blushed, and looked at Star.

"But it's mostly clean. I try to keep my shop tidy; customers hate a messy shop."

Star nodded. "I suppose that is true...I grew up on a farm and was almost always dirty and messy. My dad loved it but my mom never approved...my dad and I were always getting into trouble." She giggled remembering a time where they accidentally flooded the basement.

He chuckled. He couldn't ever believe Star would get into bad trouble, and seeing her giggling in a corner somewhere with what he imagined her father giggling with her brought a smile to his face.

Star shrugged and looked up a the clock, then her eyes widened. "Its almost twelve..." She said, looking back at Nightfall.

She nuzzled him one last time before folding up her wings normally and standing up. She held out her hoof to help him up as well. "You wanna get going ?"

He made sure that he had everything that he had brought with him, and then looked at Star. He then looked a little startled.

"Oh... hang on. We had better leave the towels."

He blushed, then went towards the bathroom.

"I'm just changing. I'll be right out."

She nodded at Nightfall as he trotted off to the bathroom to change...she didn't ask what he meant by changing considering they weren't wearing any clothes...but she just figured he meant put the towel away or something. In the meantime, Star walked over and placed her guitar by the door, making sure it was ready to go when she needed it..

"There. Now... do you want to teleport to my shop? It will be faster, and we may make the next train to Ponyville if we do."

Nightfall hadn't ever been out of Canterlot, so he would need to take the train to get there.
