Wow, thanks for sharing those codes, they are still valid and i was almost going to make a purchase but i think the best way for me get the maximum Pony to Dollar ratio is to wait until they are all released and do a mass purchase. Shipping for;

 

2 figures = Shipping cost of $41 = $20.50 per figure

4 figures = Shipping cost of $46 = $11.50 per figure

 

Waiting for them to all release will slowly kill me but in the long run i think i'll be worth it

Glad the pictures finally came out, along with a street date. By dumb luck I was at a Hot Topic when Derpy and Rainbow Dash were being put on the shelf.

I think it has something to do with Dr. Who more than MLP. Though I still don't really see the tie-in other than it being a different color. All the other versions of the Dr. Who ponies in the show wear bow ties and have designs that look like other Doctors besides the 10th (3rd, 5th, and 11th to be exact).

The Red Tie was worn by David Tenant when he played the Doctor from 2006-2009. Though he did have more than just one tie, this was one of his more iconic pieces. The fact we have the option of paying more homage to the series is actually really cool. Plus red ties are sexier.

Thanks! I was very tempted to take an exacto knife to the seam on the top of her hair, but I wasn't sure how well I could actually carve JUST the excess seam off. I really like the designs of both as well, but I like how the Funco one's hair is a little more 3 dimensional looking.She was entirely custom mixed paint as far as her yellow wings. I used apple barrel acrylic paint from walmart for the yellow and mixed it down lighter using skull white from Games Workshop. The pink is just straight pastel pink apple barrel paint. It was just the perfect color :3 As far as customs go, don't worry about not getting the color just right, it's like painting a wall: mix mix mix and do tiny spots until you get the color JUST right then paint over the swatch spots. SO easy. Just make sure you have a variety of brush sizes available to you so you can get in all the tiny little crevices

I only painted the wings my dear It's easy enough to match the paint color to her body color, so there's no reason to do a full body repaint. Besides, then you have to fuss with repainting eyes and cutiemarks and that's just too much of the E word for me. (Effort )

I have the vinyl rainbow dash hanging up on my wall in the box. I will get the fluttershy one. But where is Pinkie Pie, Rarity and all the other main ponies. Derpy and Dr Hooves are great and all but I'd rather have the main cast

The rest of the mains will come, just gotta wait. They keep doing batches of two, one main and one popular background. Takes time to make those molds I assure you. I'm just hoping the AJ will have a hat and Rarity's mane will actually be a gradient rather than two solid colors like the blind bag.

I am wondering why they chose to make fluttershy holographic. Same with Dr Hooves, I have seen a leaked AppleJack vinyl on google image search. Might be real. She had the hat by the way

Dashy and Derpy are being shipped to me and I went ahead and pre ordered Fluttershy and Dr Whooves. I love these ponies so much. They're pretty much cartoon accurate, nice sized, and fairly priced (especially for HT and if you use the code). So excited to get them all!!!
