"Solar Flicker, young miss, you ready? Just give the word then Colt 2 and I will make the offensive. Just make sure not to hit us, could get difficult should the Changelings transform. If all goes wrong, I'll wave my front hooves in the air." (OOC: like the Team America emergency signal)

"Pondah... Just call him Colt, I adopted Fortune for my name, at least for now. But yes, I'm ready and don't worry, I'll keep my eyes on you so they don't trick me. Anyways I'm ready whenever everypony else is. I have my sights on the enemy now.

He said while squinting his eyes and pointing his readied weapon at the army of the changelings.

"Good idea! You hear that Solar and "Young Miss"? Keep your eyes on us so you don't hit the real Me or Colt. Or, even better, kill them before they have the chance to change. Star Rain casted a death stare on Colt when he called her "Young Miss" for the second time. "My name is Star Rain, not Young Miss," she said, calmly with fury edging it. So first I get lifted up into the sky TWO times, then I get pursued by those ponies, and now I'm being called something that infuriates the heck out of me! The future must be BRIGHT! she thought, sarcastically and cynically.

A deep voice chuckled behind the small group as a large Changeling emerged from its hiding place, jaws glistening with saliva. It gargled, striking out at the dragon with its black hooves. Green fire arcs towards Amber as it belches.

"Whoah!" Solar Flicker barely had time to tuck the knife back into her pocket before dodging the green fire. "Since when can you do that?"  She asked the monster, not expecting an answer. She kept her eyes trained on her companions. There had to be a better way than staring at them to remember who was who. Maybe there wasn't. It might be another of those times she accidentally hurt another loved one, though she didn't know these ponies. Companions was a better word for them. Allies.

"May my arrows strike true... And may they penetrate his skull!"

I take a deep breath, aim my arrows at the large changeling and let loose a shot at him.

"Colt, watch out!"

 

(I'll roll for Dexterity, since that's usually what bows are associated with... I got a 15 Woohoo!)

The arrow sinks into the changeling's flesh. While by no means a fatal blow, it's irritating. He lashes out at you, forcing you to attempt to jump out of the way or risk getting hit. (roll Dex)

 

He snarls, cricking his neck and baring his fangs before taking to the sky.

The dragon attention was completely on other place thinking of the royal sister in the cloud so he was unable to react in time for the black creature attack, he was able to move away from its fangs but had to block the stomps of one of his hooves living him with a hard sting in his left arm and some shattered scales. “Crap” the dragon thought, “Focus here you idiot trust they will be back and fine.”

Colt was able to see the arrow flying towards the black beast piercing the flesh on its back, the dragon got an idea. As the big insect like pony was rising to the sky the dragon formed a flow of blue fire from his claws moving it like a whip, throwing it towards the arrow on the changeling and hooking the “solid flame” to the arrow. “This is going to be a wild ride” were his thoughts as the whip pulled him to the sky right behind the beast.

Solar Flicker narrowed her eyes as she watched the mamoth Changeling fly away, an arrow stuck in its side. She snarled and chased after it. She dodged the changeling's hooves and got up in his face, blocking his escape. She was positioned just in front of his eyes, poised to leap away at a moment's notice. "Where do you think you'lre going, pal?"

The rock sails off to the left, crashing through a window.

 

The giant changeling growls, spinning and bashing the pegasus bothering him with a hoof. He flaps his wings, soaring high over the group, then shudders, writhing. His body glows bright green, then fades slowly. A voice inside each of your heads booms, "SUBMIT."

Pondah's sentence is cut short when he sees a rock on the ground. [Or maybe I do...] Pondah picks up a rock from the ground and hurls it at the Super Changeling's face. (Rolled 14 on DEX on a score of 12. Total of 15)

(Sorry if this is a bit late, my computer was acting up. But I rolled a 15 for wisdom.)

 

"I... Will... Not... Give in!"

I let out a painful cry, then regain my composure.

"Sorry about that everypony. You all know how mind control can be, a big pain in all of our backsides."

He wipes a bit of sweat off his brow before pulling another arrow and readying it on the bowstring.

"Uh... Is everypony else alright?"

"Heh, I know I am. Was that meant to hurt or something? Submit. Submit to what? It's that thing that should submit, doesn't it know when it has met it's match."

 

Pondah turns to face the Super Changeling. "Was that supposed to hurt? I've had papercuts more painful than that!"

(All right, guys. Pondah rolled high enough to break the spell for everypony. Your move.

 

By the way, we're in the process of adding a new member, so... yeah.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell you that 15 is usually, but not always, a success. I might have said that before, but oh well, it put me over the limit for this post.)

(Rolled DEX 16 WIS 18 STR 11)Colt made a flap of his wings and landed over the back of the channeling he now was riding the wild beast his fire whip surrounded the creatures neck from the arrow to his left hand burning its black hide. At that time a spectral voice resounded on his mind but his focus (and Pondas help) kept it away. Standing over the creatures back neck with the flaming reins in his had the dragon started stomping his hind claws over the beast.

“Go down damn beast, we have to great your friends.” This was the plow meant to break the barrier of monsters between the young ponies and the keep.

Pondah followed the careening Changeling and Colt but staying behind so he was not hit if it hit the ground. "Hey Colt, land that thing so I can put it out it's misery. We haven't got all day to reach the keep! Fortune, Solar and "Young Miss", stay alert. It is on."

The changeling reared up, the dragon's stomps doing nothing but irritating it. The rope of fire around its neck, however, wasn't as easily ignored. It snarled, writhing and howling as its skin began to sizzle. With a powerful flap of its insect-like wings, it rose high into the air, dragging the dragon with it.

"Oh for... Grrr. Is everything against me scoring a hit?" Pondah turned to face the other ponies. "Right, time is of the essence here. "Young Miss" we need your magic now more than ever. Score a powerful hit on the Changeling and then we are rushing for the keep."

Star Rain flinched when she heard that booming voice sound in her head. She dug her hooves into the ground and forced it out with a shout,"YOU CAN'T CONTROL ME!" like breaking barrier that seemed to try to cage her willpower in. She stood there panting before she casted a spell on the super changeling that took the form of a larger-than-average arrow aimed for its eye.

He saw the magic arrow shooting at the giant changeling then looked over at Star Rain.
"Uhh Star Rain... I know you're not exactly in a good mood, but honestly you need to calm yourself. I realize the name can be irritating... I hate being called young stallion and such. But we need to work together here."
He said placing his hoof on her shoulder.

The giant flails, groaning as Star's bolt sinks deep into his flesh. He snarls, blood splattering from the wound, and roars. A skittering cry echoes around the group as the changelings pour into the city, having completely overwhelmed the guard. There's only a small opening in the sea of bodies, and it's closing fast.

"We can't wait any longer! I'm going in before the gap to the keep closes. Everyone, get your flanks over here and follow me. Colt is busy with the huge one, looks like we are going for the shrimps." Pondah raises his sword skyward and charges forwards, stopping before the Changelings reached him. "Let's do this."

[Colt 555]

The beast took him up into the sky “So you have a thick hide” the dragon said as the arrow of light entered in the changeling‘s eye. He was still flying, Colt hold tight of his flames to sustain the flail and a moment after a sphere of lighting was sparking in his claw. Lunging his body forward the dragon slammed the ball of electricity over the arrow of light and the hole on the beast face, sending a deadly discharge over to his brain. (wis 18)

The thunder of the impact resounded form above and the beast along with the dragon began to fell using Colt grabed the changeling‘s wings and extended his own using them to glide towards the closing wave of dark creatures and finally slamming it over those closing the gap between the battling ponies and the entrance to the keep.

(dex 9)He jumped down the right exact moment after the crash (by mistake) and the shake made him completely lost his balance the impulse of his wings, legs and the crash send him towards the entrance of the keep slamming his body to the ground, it was a terrible landing but the breach was open.

Colt stood up holding his side in pain and waving and calling the ponies “Come on now is your chance!!” the dragon screamed.
