Cutie Mark Crusaders Cape

This was another thing I made for my Scootaloo costume. It's the Cutie Mark Crusaders cape!

 

I used a children's superhero cape for the pattern, outlined it on a red and gold fabric, and used a sewing machine to sew them together with a red border. There is velcro sewn into the collar to keep it in place. The CMC patch was purchased from EthePony on DeviantART. Took only about a day to do.

I will definitely post it once it's done. I'm working on the last component for it right now, a vest with her wings attached to them.

I would love to find someone to cosplay as Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. The CMC trio would definitely win all of the internets. XD

I have gotten quite a few requests to make these. The only issue is that I did not make the patch so I would have to work something out with them or with someone to make them for me. I also probably won't do it with the current fabric I used for this... it is very difficult to sew.
