Scarfy HOOVES 310 January 31, 2013 Share January 31, 2013 I had just finished watching the Brony Documentary and i have to say i have never been happier about who i am and what i have become...than this very moment in time. All the name calling and crap we bronies deal with is totally worth it when the big picture of who we are and what we do is put before our eyes. It really opens you up to all the wonderful things that his fandom has been able to accomplish. I love every single one of you. and all of you should be proud at how far we have come and not only that but just how far we are gonna go.
Haven Celestii 9,385 January 31, 2013 Share January 31, 2013 Is it really that good and feel giving? I'm seriously gonna have to sit down and watch that soon then. Not sure how affected I'll be by said feels, but it will be a good watch either way. And yes, we should be proud of our fandom~ It really is quite an amazing thing.

~Master~ Button Mash 2,307 January 31, 2013 Share January 31, 2013 Who would have thought watching a show about adorable ponies would ever change people's lives for the better? Truly proud to be a brony. That's the beautiful thing about life, though, isn't it? The most profound things can come from the most unexpected places. Years ago, I'm sure none of us would think we'd be here right now, but here we are. The brony community has changed lives and brought so much joy to the world and everypony who lives on it. Through thick and thin, good and bad, I will always be proud to be a brony. 1 Follow me on Tumblr! http://stratosthestallion.tumblr.com

Soviet Spy 31 January 31, 2013 Share January 31, 2013 Who isn't proud to be a Brony? Anyway, I really want to see the documentary, but I have no money and I can't watch it. I don't want to illegally download it, but like I said, I really want to watch it. Wat do? :Having technical difficulties: Credit goes to Gone ϟ Airbourne! Alex0461 33 January 31, 2013 Share January 31, 2013 Watching that documentary really does reinforce your Brony pride. I know for a fact my life would be way different if I never found this fandom, I'm a much more positive and caring person now than I was before becoming a Brony and people have noticed the change as time's gone by. To find something that has the potential to deliver so much joy to the people around you and change so many aspects of your personality for the better is astounding. I'm seriously proud to be a part of The Herd and everything it stands for. It's worth going through any amount of hate imaginable just to have experienced something like this in my life. Everytime I wear a Brony shirt to school, I do get a lot if crap for wearing it. But being a Pegasister has made me way more happier ever since I have joined the fandom. Even though we do get a lot of crap for being Bronys and Pegasisters, it's all worth it in the end. That would be kinda cool the more i think about it. No, as far as I know, it isn't. Actually, after I made that last post I looked up the documentary on EQD and found a letter from John DeLancie asking people not to put it out for free download. I'll post the link. http://www.equestriadaily.com/2013/01/brony-documentary-released.html You'll find the letter under the picture of Discord. :Having technical difficulties: Credit goes to Gone ϟ Airbourne! Prismatic 49 February 1, 2013 Share February 1, 2013 The documentary made me feel good about being a brony (granted I know a few who actually dislike me with a passion that went to Bronycon) but at the same time made me sad at how things in real life are a lot, lot better in real life than the internet. The internet community I still stay away from most of the time.
Harmonic Revelations 8,835 February 1, 2013 Share February 1, 2013 Right now, this thread, it has informed what I was meant to do. I shall now do what the universe has told me I am supposed to, and without further a due, let me add something of relevance to the thread. But in all seriousness, the documentary made me feel quite good, it made be proud to call myself a brony. I have never been to a meetup though so I can't say I know about the "In person" aspect of the community here. That's the beautiful thing about life, though, isn't it? The most profound things can come from the most unexpected places. Years ago, I'm sure none of us would think we'd be here right now, but here we are. Years ago I thought I'd be dead by this point, so I suppose things turned out for the better, right guys? Right? But in all seriousness, friendship and kindness are things people don't value as much as they should in today's society.

I've been mostly on the internet because despite being in a rather large city the brony community there does everything by Facebook so I can't really do a whole lot with them. Sadly in my journey through Brony social networking sites it's been a lot rougher and nastier than forums from my first impressions.

I mean is there like a facebook just for bronies. That's really rough and if bronies are being nasty on other sites that kinda gives us a bad name we should be able to feel safe among our fellow bronies rather IRL or on the internet. no matter where it is. Rainbow Dash 1,472 February 3, 2013 Share February 3, 2013 I love every single one of you. aww i love you too except im incapable of love. Anyway when i entered this fandom i was sooo surprised how big it was and how talented the people were. This Fandom Has been compared to the Star Trek Fandom and thats really saying something. Anti-bronies hate us due to our success and creativity. I did notice that this fandom is especially dark and depressive. I know you guys are just expressing the characters Fanon but please tone it down on the sadness...my heart can't take it much longer. R.I.P. Pretty much a Facebook clone (there's a few that use different software providers than what I am famliar with). It's harder to build a sense of community there because of how it isolates the users. Prismatic 49 February 3, 2013 Share February 3, 2013 It's cool, it's cool. Things can't last forever and it's always good to bounce around the internet since so few use multiple sites. My only thing now is that I'm starting to become more convention focused in the community/fandom, dunno why.

Cupcakes, Matthew Mosier's A final Twilight, Alot of songs about Ponies either leaving Ponyville. Stories about Big Mac Killing the CMC. Im not talking down on those instances. I like them alot and i do think they are quite good with the execution of it but taking a step back and looking at it from another perspective it is quite dark and depressing. R.I.P. zZzLucidDream 16 February 3, 2013 Share February 3, 2013 I hate to be a downer, but I will NOT ever ever give the company who made the documentary a dime of my money. They're going after kids for thousands of dollars for pirating the documentary. Love and tolerance my ass. They obviously did it all for profit and have no soul. Sure, they got some bronies to help them with content, but they still missed the point. They collected donations and turned that donation money into a profit-generating machine. That's not how it should work. If you're going to release a film based on the audience's money, you shouldn't go after the same audience that helped you make the film possible.
