So, I was at this place with my class where we were taught how to
paint. It was a 2 days course. Had a great time there with my
classmates, and while painting as well.

It took me about 6 hours to paint this.  Of course, it's probably not the best painting you've ever seen, but hey... for a beginner this is quite something, eh ?

This is awesome! Slash is a great guitarist for sure, and i think you did a very nice drawing of him.

 

The guitar itself would need some improvement, in both colours and structure.

What paint were you using? Acrylics? I love oil painting but it can be a pain to work with and am considering trying acrylics.

Awesome!  Slash is one of my favorite guitar players, and you did a great job on this painting, especially for a beginner. I like your use of color, particularly in the background.

Yeah, I know that. The teacher mentioned it, but eh... can't fix it now, unfortunately. And yeah, the background is my favorite part of the painting. Hahah

Yep. We used acrylics. Because oil painting takes ages to dry, and if you get it on your clothes it's impossible to get off. If you want to start painting, you should always buy acrylics.

This is great, Slash is one of my all time favorite guitarists, and I like how this painting portrays him, IMO it's got a hendrix-esq vibe to it but with Slash.
